I just received this case today from an Amazon order. This case is a replica of the supcase Beetle from the Nexus 6p. It is an awesome case that has a mostly clear back with thick bumpers on the top and bottom portion of the phone. It is thin along the left and right edges of the phone. My search for a case has ended.

it is a little more slippery but the edges have some grip. I love this case. I have tried speck presidio grip, the clear version, otterbox commuter and orzly fusion. Trident wins by a mile.

Has anyone tried the hybrid? protect the device just as well? Ive dropped my note 3 in parking lots, smacked it against gym equipment, stepped on it at the gym lol, dropped on tile lol. still holding up with minimal ware and tear. Only visible issues are the hairline cracks everyone else is seeing.

the neo hybrid on the note3 looks nice, but made it "bigger than bigger" as apple puts it...i will wait until its on Prime for the easy return

the hairline cracks go down the chrome plastic surrounding of the phone. Where the note 4 has metal, that was cracked. Nothing crazy but it was noticeable. I actually purchased the metal neo hybrid and the glass protector. First time trying one of these.

Now that's what I'm talking about! Eventhough the spigen one has shiny chamfered edges that give it that premium look, but I'll buy this any day!

I had the Neo Hybrid for the Note 3 and hated it. While I loved the design, It had ZERO grip. It was always sliding out of my hand. I hope the new ones have a more tacky back now.
That Versus case looks nice and looks like the back might have a bit more grip.

i ordered one of the Verus. I'm hoping that the outside piece truly is Aluminum metal and not plastic made to resemble metal as in the Spegin Neo. DOnt get me wrong , I love the Spigen but I often found myself breaking the bumper ring when I was changing batteries. I always get extra batteries of whatever phone i have. Whether it was the GS3 (my dad), GS4 (my sister), GS5 (my gf), Note 3 (me).........now when I get the Note 4.
Wondering when Note 4 accessories, such as extra battery or spare battery kit (extra battery and spare battery charger) since the new battery is 3220 MaH.
I have a dbrand skin on my phone and want to show it off with a clear case that doesn't attract a ton of fingerprints! I'm using the Ringke Fusion which is awesome but the fingerprints it picks up is driving the OCD in me insane. I haven't been able to find many of them. Does anyone have good suggestions or experiences. Thanks!

That one is frosted and matte, it there such a thing as a transparent case that is less glossy that Rinke, Spigen, Orzly efforts?

^ this is a clearer description of what I'm looking for :good:
I don't think I've ever owned a clear glossy or matte TPU case that didn't either turn blue from being placed in jeans or turn yellow after a few weeks from oil and/or UV effects.

Got my Poetic Affinity clear case a few days ago and so far I am loving it. The material is durable and the design looks sweet, finally a strong clear case. The volume and power buttons are easy to access and feel good to press. My favorite thing about this case is the rubber material around the front lip make it easy to grab. The power slot and head phone jack are all easy to get to as well and lined up well. I am coming from a diztronic case to this which I loved but the Poetic Affinity clear case is a tad bit bulkier but better protects your phone. I plan to keep this as a daily I just hope it does not turn yellow like most clear cases after a while of use.

Good Review. The Poetic ppl are very nice. And they make a great case. Can't beat a clear case, built in bumper, not too bulky AT ALL. If I had to pick one negative, its the scratches on the plastic. It's not super visible but somewhat noticeable. All in all, its my favorite case rn

My only concern with certain clear cases is the discoloration that they get over time from dirt and dark clothing. Are the ridges down the back and the edges a silicone-rubber material?

My Incipio case has turned yellow/brownish after about a month and a half of use, do you know of a method to clean them?
I'm also considering switching over to this one, as the back is clear and has ridges for better grip.
How does this case compare to the ice uag case wish they made it for this phone and which one looks better in person the clear and black or all clear?
Got mine few days ago and can tell that this is the best case i have ever used in any of my devices.

Totally agree with you, it does indeed scratches easily, but the way the case looks and the protection its totally worth it
Posted in the regular Z forum but I figured I'd show it here as well.
Here are some photos of the Gold Brushed Metal Slickwrap with some Mods attached as well as the Verizon Bumper. All fully compatible together, though I did botch the bottom strip of the Slickwrap trying to squeeze the bumper on, but it still looks good without it. I ordered the hemp wrap for the Force as well but it appears to be the same size so I'm waiting to hear back from them to see if it was a mistake.

does anyone make ultra thin cases anymore?
If I get a case I would just want it to keep the phone scratch free and provide a lip for setting it face down.
examples: Spigen Ultra Fit, Rock Quicksand Composite Poly-carbonate Shell Case
I suppose I should add that I saw the slim cases post with the spigen and the ringke. The spigen page isn't loading for me and their 'slim' case has proven to be rather chunky on some phones, not like their ultra fit which doesn't seem to exist anymore. The ringke looks like it might work though, it's 1.2mm and has a lip on front. I'm looking for more options, nothing against ringke or spigen, but choices would be nice. Obviously there aren't a ton of cases for the pixel so the question is more general. Are there specific makes/models of cases that are super thin for phones recently that I can keep an eye out for?

Bearmotion is making one...I had bearmotion for my M8, worked great, and had a very similar (though not as rough) feel to the Rock Quicksand on the GS3...I do wish Rock Quicksand would come out with one though.

Ya seems so, user here on xda used soft steel wool to remove some gloss and make it grippy.
Bear Motion case. You won't regret it. Super slim and great texture. Had it with the Nexus 6P and just ordered for Pixel Xl

my issue with the bear motion case is the almost non existent front lip. I place my phone face down all the time. that being said with as cheap as it is I'll likely order one anyway just to test it.

Anyways, its not "thin" it looks just like the OZRLY TPU, quite "standard" imho.

I purchased the maxboost and love it. Super slim and discreet. The grip is ideal for me because I want to effortlessly remove and place the phone in my pocket. I've had grippier cases that made removing the phone from my pocket difficult while seated.
