Hello, my car is a Seat Leon FR and does not mirror with samsung and nokia 900, for being embedded in the infotainment firmware. How could I make mirrorlink not recognize that my phone is a samsung? The phone is rooted and I tried to edit the build.pro but no solution
I think it is not a infotainment head unit problem. What makes you think that?

Has any one any suggestions as to how I can get the phone to bond with a UK Ford Mondeo ? It finds the car when setting up a partnership but the car never recognised the phone has bonded with it. Seems there are some comments around about the Nokia software in the car but no answers.
Suggestions on other bluetooth stacks I could try on the MDA (UK T Mobile) ?

I got a 2006 Audi S4 and noticed there's a cellphone cradle interface in the center armrest -- apparently you can buy various cradles for whatever phone you want to connect to the car's hands-free system. I have not fooled around with factory cradles before -- does anyone know if there is a way to use the Audi center armrest with the Epic 4G?

So i heard something about different pinouts.
Bought the pinout changer from adaptare: http://www.amazon.de/Headset-Adapte...=sr_1_1?s=ce-de&ie=UTF8&qid=1353705286&sr=1-1
But the pinout changer makes the headset really quiet, just like the GND isnt set correctly...
Then i heard that our Pinout matches the one of the Galaxy S 2 i9100, is that true?
Because with the S2 Samsung switched to the apple standard. Then my headset shut work without any workaraound, but it doesnt.
Any suggestions?

I recently became owner of a Honda Civic Tourer 2016 Style Edition.
It's got the 7 inch display with Honda Connect infotainment system and all. It runs some kind of Android. It Says version 4.0.4. My Phone runs 6.0.1.
I've paired The Honda Connect infotainment system with my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge which is fully updated and runs Mirrorlink. No problem pairing through Bluetooth. I got the phone contacts on the screen and can receiver and make calls.
I have tried connecting with USB cable also. My phone says it is connected through Mirrorlink. I also get the extra screen on the car display. But here it says "Smartphone is not compatible".
I've googled and googled for the past few days. And nothing comes up. My phone should be compatible.
I also reached out to a Honda forum without getting any response so far.
I've got the following mirrorlink apps installed:
Rockscout
Glympse for Auto
CarmodeStub (came pre installed)
Car Mode for Galaxy ( through Galaxy App store)
Sygic Car Navigation
Any suggestions to what to do?
Got an answer from the dealer. He says the EU version of Honda Connect doesn't have the upate that works with mirrorlink yet. No news on when it's gonna get it. Anybody know anything about that?

I have a Samsung S21 smartphone and a pioneer avh-x490dab headunit does anyone know if this will allow me to use the mirror function? I bought the rca to hdmiconverter cables worked for a minute then just display phones homescreen nothing else.
