CyanogenMod for dual SIM devices ( EVA-L29 ... )
Please , if you want to use CyanogenMod on your device dual SIM, first you should convert your device to L09 ( single SIM ) .
CM works also on dual SIM devices, but here are some issues :
* you cannot use a extensible SdCard, because here you should put SIM card !
* you'll have only 2G capability !
* SIM1 are currently not working​

Surdu - I've installed this on my EVA-L09 yesterday night and I have some things:
Bugs:
-Phone boot loops when setting SD Card as internal storage (fixed the boot loop by removing the SD Card)
-There is no offline charging, it gets stuck on the can't be trusted screen trying to boot
-Stutters (but that was completely expected)
What works:
-GPS (for me at least)
-Data (including LTE)
-Messages
-Themes
-Everything else

I've already answered this in my earlier post. camera does not but GPS worked for me
NFC I didn't test and don't use anyway so I can't comment for that

Device tree ( open source code ) already added on my OP !
So, you can start build any custom Rom based CM , and why not based AOSP

It's compatible with every Honor 8 version.
About the rom, I have tested it and all I can say is that I am impressed! I couldn't detect any lag nor any random freezing. Last night I tried to make it crash but I couldn't do so (although I haven't tested any high performance operation).
About bugs I've noticed, logcat complains about the key master, but I know that's being worked on, and the Browser didn't seem to work for me.
The rom takes a while to install, so wait patiently, it will boot.
To conclude, I'd like to thank @surdu_petru for his work, he got it working in no time and he has always been willing to help with some issues that appeared in the past.

I just got my new Honor 8 and i can't wait to see a fully working CM13 ROM to use it as a daily driver.

Until the next Android update, respectively CM-15.0 , we have all the time ( almost 12 months ) to fix only a few issues .
Definitely , all issues here will be fixed much earlier, to be used like a daily stable rom

Thank you for your hard work, I am currently using a Chinese version of honor 9, might not be able to flush your ROM. Original style ROM may not be in line with Chinese usage, if you can is a great adapter miui9. Thank you

Is paranoid android the most reliable ROM for the Honor 9 atm?

I don't think there are many roms for this phone yet, RROS and AOSPA are the only two that are more and less working. Those issues mean that those four things are not behaving as they are supposed to.

If it is about battery backup, the ROM has been out for only about half hr and how do You expect it to be reviewed...???

As soon as ROM gets uploaded, people start asking questions (how is battery backup, volte working etc etc).
Its clearly mentioned that volte is working. And to test battery backup, someone will have to spend some time with ROM. Have patience if you cant test and report. Let people try ROM, they themself will give their review.

Downloading... Will flash now and report on VoLTE and about battery in a day or so...

Some customisations not working, recents button takes to menu and I havent found a method to fix that without using the zip or button mapper app (in Omni settings You can map Home key to show recents)... Booting is really fast... Night light working and also VoLTE (I didnt check it intensively)... SafetyNet fail...

Do the hw decoders work?
On los15.1 they do not work
