Netflix doesn't show video - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

I'm using my chromecast through the hostpot on my galaxy S7, when I cast my screen to my chromecast and I want to use Netflix it doesn't show the video, just audio. I did the same before with my galaxy s5 and I had no problems with this. What can I do?

[APP] Video Player Galaxy Tab 2 7.0

I tested using the SemperVidLinks + Stock Video Player of galaxy tab 2 7.0 and I could stream a youtube video over dlna to my samsung TV that is not a smart tv, just have dlna and a rj45 connector.
I was thinking if anyone could send me this apk to install in my Moto X or could suggest another way to stream youtube videos to TV than the twonky bean or bubbleUpnp (this two apps works, but with high res stop a lot of times to buffer).
In my country google don't sells chromecast yet =/

[Q] Screen mirroring

Is there a way to disable the screen play on my Galaxy s5 screen when the screen mirroring feature is in use?
Screen mirroring is done by the system, so it would be handled there. Not sure if the app can pick up on this... @bleu8888 ?
Also, how are you mirroring? HDMI, Miracast... etc Depending on the method, the answer may differ.
Let me start from the beginning. I have a galaxy s5 on 5.0 lollipop. I use said phone to run showbox. Before I upgraded to 5.0 about a month ago showbox gave me the option to choose the external video player I wanted to use, which was vlc player. Whenever I used vlc player while I used wifi screen mirroring(the built in feature) the screen would just have video controls on it, ie pause, play, rewind etc but the video didn't play on my phone screen while still sending the video to the tv thus conserving power on my phone.
VLC has beta Chromecast support; Chromecast =/= mirror. Mirror means both screens show the same thing; Chromecast means the video is only rendered on hte output device.
MX currently doesn't have Chromecast support: http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/mx-player/sticky-mx-player-chromecast-t2725253
So I get it that this feature is not supported on Mx player?

casting youtube to media box mxiii

Hello everybody,
I just bought a mx3 mediabox, and i was wondering if there's any way to cast youtube videos to it, same way you can cast them to a Chromecast.
I know i can cast the entire phone video and audio, but i want to cast youtube to a queue using several phones, similar to the Chromcast feature.
Cloudcast app
Or
Kodi with Yatse and YouTube add on
Edit: using android only

Is Chromecast support broken?

Just got my U11 today, and I can't cast anything to my Sony 850D Android TV. It says can't connect to TV. Miracast works. Google play music and youtube, or anything with a cast button doesn't.
Anybody have a fix?
Edit
Casting audio to my sound bar works fine.
No problems on mine - first Gen chromecast. Can cast youtube n Netflix movies easily
Sent from my SM-G955F using XDA-Developers Legacy app
Tested this morning. YouTube was fine. I think it's because I was trying to cast 4k video. The TV doesn't support casting 4k. So problem solved.
pornhub casting fine

[Bug Report] Dex, Chromecast Mirror & HDMI Mirror to TV Issues Samsung Galaxy Tab S4

[Bug Report] Dex, Chromecast Mirror & HDMI Mirror to TV Issues Samsung Galaxy Tab S4
This seems weird to me...
I got a Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 for Christmas this year, running Android 8.1
I'm having some weird issues with my tablet:
MX Player runs fine when just playing local videos on the tablet. This includes videos I know have AC3 audio. It was set up for the Neon Codec pack when I copied it over. I assume the codec is OK, because it plays fine on the tablet. But...
If I mirror the screen to TV, either with a USB-C to HDMI adaptor or by casting to a Chromecast with Google Home or Samsung SmartView, the video plays fast and choppy. If I use the HDMI to TV in Dex Mode, it is even worse.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is going wrong? Could it be the wrong codec pack? I've tried both the default and the Neon (I used Neon on my Tab S2 running Android 7). Both work fine with the table on its own, but fail miserably when I do any kind of casting.
Thanks,
Joe
