[AROMA][USER-CHOICE]OTX - Bloatware Remover

After a lot of struggle, here I present you my project (codename: OTX) that helps the user to remove the apps easily using aroma!!
I found that there are some limitations in the aroma installer which made it difficult for me!
First of all, I know you would say that this script has been already made and you will try to report it to moderators that I am repeating but no one has made an aroma flashable installer in any of the xda thread and nothing has been made like this for any of the devices. Even though it is present, it is not user choosable. It just deletes blocks of applications and can sometimes be even without your notice.

Installation Instructions:
Make sure your device is rooted and binaries are up to date.
Download signed_OTX_BLOAT.zip and ClockWorkMod provided.
Copy it in the root of the sd card.
Now reboot and access recovery mode.
Now flash ClockWorkMod and mount everything.
Now select "install zip from sd card" and click signed_OTX_BLOAT.zip and install it.
You are asked to select the files to be deleted in 11 checkbox selectable pages because of the limitation of aroma script.
If you don't want to delete anything in a particular page, just click next and proceed.
After uninstalling, reboot your device.
I have tested it in my device and I am proud to say that it works as per my expectations. Its stable but currently need testers for this tool.

This is the base version. New addons will be made soon!
[Q] In what way it is different from old script??
[A] The user have to modify the lines of the script so as to remove the apps that he/she don't like and it takes too much time to type one by one. But if you use my script, it will be a lot easier and saves time.

Currently, it deletes only apk and odex. I will try to implement these features in the next build.

Yeah! I agree with you sir!
I think this as a small project but literally, it consumed a lot of time on analysing what must be done to remove limitations on aroma!

Just installed this on my T-Mobile S5 and wow just wow! Running this with the latest KT kernel and this is the fastest ROM I've ever used. Mad props to all involved in making this happen and thanks for sharing. :good:

Pls Fingerprint fix

One bug I noticed is that in Extinction Settings if you select to remove S Finder and Quick Connect from the notification panel it doesn't remove it and it also puts them in the lockscreen.

thx. i try to fix that then. now i make a new version of sixperience because this rom (note4) dont have so mani buggs like the sixperience

Loving it so far on my at&t variant running good so far can't complain thanks for the awesome work 900a works after getting rid of aroma.. Note camera is awesome

I used philz touch recovery it works better sometimes then twrp.

Same thing here... When i boot the device after flash the ROM i only can see the Samsung logo. TWRP 2.8.6.0 too.

Thanks again for all your work, I flashed this rom on my T-Mobile G900T, all is working nice, the only bug I found is the screen brightness going dark sometimes and during phone call, its the same bug from the sixperience rom. I hope this can be fixed.

use kt twrp. its a lot better than the stock twrp and works.

Anyway I think i'll flash this rom soon but if anyone could post some screenshots would be much appreciated (i know it's Note 4 stock but i'd like to see port N4 UI on s5 if possible ), i hope you dev don't leave those projects as they are but you'll work on them....of course with patience and relax :highfive:

FAQ​
Why does it bootloop?
Because you flashed a mod, or custom kernel. Only the kernel packed with the rom is supported.​
Why is there no ROM CONTROL?
Because 1-I don't have that much time,2-The HydROM is about STOCK feeling.​
How to I change the dpi?
Go to Settings>Display>Display Scaling - Large is 640(Note 4's original DPI), Small is (560, Note5's dpi)​
What is another fast yet secure way to unlock besides fingerprint?
For now, you can enable Trusted face in Smart Lock in settings, when it recognizes your face, it doesn't require a pin or password.​
The phone heats up a lot, why?
This is a common issue some users reported since MM, try to factory reset, flash the latest bootloader and modem, do not restore anything using TB or Helium.​
Not all themes are available, why?
Well, some themes still do not support Graceux since it's not official.​
Why isn't Magnify or AirMagnify available
It was causing crashes and reboots, so for now, it's not available. Hopefully, if I have enough time, I'll fix it.​

Tutorial​NOTE THAT YOU HAVE TO MAKE A FULL WIPE OR THE ROM WILL BE BUGGY - BACKUP YOUR APPS VIA TITANIUM BACKUP OR ANY APP OF YOUR CHOICE.
1- Go to your phone's developer options and enable USB Debugging, connect your PC and allow its connection.
2- In the developer options, make sure OEM Unlock is checked(if running stock)
3- Power your phone off and boot into ODIN mode and flash TWRP
4- Let your phone boot back up then reboot into TWRP.
5- MAKE A FULL BACKUP(SYSTEM,BOOT,DATA,EFS,MODEM) OF EVERYTHING AND HAVE AT LEAST ONE COPY ON YOUR PC.
6- Copy the ROM to your device.
7- Go to wipe, then advanced and select DATA, DALVIK CACHE, CACHE and SYSTEM.
8- Flash the ROM
- Then flash the kernel of your choice(H-Vitamin for Hydrom or Talexop for Hydrom)
9- Reboot and enjoy.
ALSO NOTE THAT AFTER THIS YOUR PHONE MAY TAKE UP TO 20 MINUTES TO BOOT, be patient. If for some reason it didn't boot, press and hold the home key, vol down and power for almost 7 sec until the phone shuts down, then boot into twrp and restore your backup and report here.

Yes, for N910C/H. Me and the testing team are testing the rom, when we solve the major issues, I'll release it. It should be less than 2 days.

I have two testers to test it on TMOBILE Variants, If I succeed, I'll try and support other variants as well.

Unfortunately no one has found a workaround. It doesn't work because samsung updated Note5, s6, s7 and note7's fingerprint service to the one on Marshmallow but sadly kept the same old one on the note4. For now, you can use Trusted face

After rebooting install as a usual apk both files: Unicon_Icon_Themer.apk and Unicon_Pro_Key.apk from SD card
note: if its not permissible, enable Unknown sources in Settings>More>Security
After installing both Unicons, go to Xposed Installerapp>Modules>enable Unicon>choose Unicon>DUX Icons>Apply Theme>wait>SOFT REBOOT(necessary)
Congratulations!!! You have S5 themed/S8 iconed,sounded GT-I9105P (you also can apply GUX Icons and TW Icons)
note: after installing new app, you should apply Icon pack again from Xposed Installer
recommendation: first install all needed apps and then apply Icon Pack
HOW TO GET PULSING TOUCH KEY LIGHT DURING NOTIFICATION
Go to BLN control-FREEapp>mark Activate BLN (you also can set timeout of LEDs for better battery life)
NOTE: Do not try to install PRO Version otherwise, your TOUCH KEY LIGHT stops working

He is suggesting to use Mosh Kernel. The kernel code isn't merged on rom code, they are on different zips, so he isn't stealing anything, just he recognizes the great work of @CoolDevelopment

Do you have the root permission on your phone? I think not.
Follow this discussion and you will find the way: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2663834
For the recovery use TWRP, so write on Google "twrp s2 plus" and download TWRP for s2vep with .tar extension (because you must use Odin)

Cyanogenmod 13 is stable now. Resurrection remix 6.0 is stablr too.
