[Q] Samsung galaxy 551

Using cyanogenmod 7.2..Everything's fine..as smooth as possible..

rooted Galaxy 551 error dialer storage (process com.android.phone) has stopped.....
I am one week into my rooted Galaxy 551 (which I have been LOVING) but last night I did something stupid. It seems as though after I uninstalled a dialer process (with Titanium Backup) i keep getting the above error.
i tried doing a factory reset to see if the problem would disappear...didn't work.
And Now, when I rebooted my phone, I have no signal/no service.
Can someone help me to get my signal/service back?

Maybe you can unroot your phone ..or again install the stock android rom....other than that..try removing your battery and inserting it and then starting up your phone....
you should ask some other members...i too am a noob here....sorry couldnt help you....

Hey guys i found out that the best thing to do right now is upgrade your phone to 2.3.6 using odin and flash arkas 1.5 einherjar rom..its the best and the most stable rom with lots of features..cm7 is still in developing stage..so till arkas 1.5 is seriously good....
Been using for a day and no bugs...
really happy with the results...

Hey can anyone tell me which is the best way to download FULL version live wallpapers for this phone..Whatever i get from market are free version with less settings..and in market there are some LW's which "are incompatible with my device" but when i download those apks by searching in google they run quite smoothly..
So any specific site or method to download full version live wallpapers for galaxy 551??

do not ask for these things here buddy this is XDA developers. u are to support the dev. no WAREZ allowed. u might even recieve an infraction from a moderator for this.. btw welcome to XDA noob !

This thread is for 551 users..u r a LG P500 user..and i am a noob thats why i asked such a stupid question..but that was past..

[Q] The correct ways to root galaxy mega 6.8

Hey all, I rooted my device (galaxy mega 6.8) but then I have a problem, my wifi can't switch on and my gallery cannot be open. Really scared that time. I can't sleep.. arghhh... I search to the internet, and I found someone had a problem like me... I try to unroot it back, but the downloading is tooooooo slow. hmmm, what time I waiting, i found that user galaxy mega (i found someone,previously) him using kies to stock it back...well i try it for now... haha, I just want to ask you one question, how to correctly root this device withoust any problem? i appreciate your kindness.... :fingers-crossed:

Hi, I've been trying to root My Note 4.
Followed your instructions to the letter but no luck!!
Keep getting the message: Succeed 0 failed 0.
I do have the latest version of Busybox pro and Super Su pro
My note is a N 910F, kernel version 3.10.0-3311829,
Knox version 2.2,
software 4.4.4.
Although this is not the first time that I root a Samsung Galaxy Note (did a Note II and a N8000 before) this one is driving me crazy!!
So pls. give me some of your experience and wisdom and tell me what it is that I am doing wrong and how to root this #$%"?!! ** Thing!!

Of course I did use the: smn910f.tar.md5 as well.

I cannot clearly see what the log says in your pic. But I would guess that you have the reactivation lock on. The thread I linked you should have a dedicated q&a section. You will need to register to get further support there. XDA assist is for showing you the way. We do not offer direct support

I tried rooting it using odin and downloaded the zip file. After it passed the test. My tab rebooted and didnt continue on. Stopped at the samsung welcome design. And just hung there. Nothing happening . As if it crashed
So i downloaded a new firmware with a certain build and installed it using odin but the firmware isnt what i wanted and a lot is changed like it was rewritten. Anyways most of my apps arent working like they used ro and i still cant roor the tab.
Please how can i root my tab even after all this?

Hello, I bought my daughter the Gakaxy Tab A, 8in, SM - T350, I tried to root it, like a moron, usin that odin i did what it said and used the CF-Auto-Root-gt58wifi-gt58wifixx-smt350 for the PDF. It just sits at the samsung screen on reboot, i even tried using the PDF sm-t350-stock-recovery still nothing, if you can help Thank you, and I will never try this again Also

Thank you for using XDA-ASSIST. We all are here to help. If I were you i would install Samsung Smart Switch tool for your Windows or Mac http://samsungsmartswitch.org/ or you can always download your firmware from Samsung website http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-T350/
