Hi There
Kindly assist Im using a Samsung Tab 2, this morning I noticed a yellow vertical line running across the screen.. I have not dropped the device, the screen is not damaged and working perfectly fine.
Any ideas on how to remove the line?
Thank you
Its most likely that the screen has malfunctioned

I've had luck with tapping LCD monitors to get some pixels unstuck but I guess that won't work on a screen behind glass! Some warranties do cover dead pixels. I guess you could try that route?
I have that option but of like to not. Thnks

It has fixed my SAMSUNG S6 Edge LCD (green line): Pixel Fixer
Hello dear Xda members
I have a galaxy tab 7.7, i got it from a friend (too expensive from Samsung) so I run the dead pixel test (basic colors) and I see a strange dead/stuck/lazy pixel !
after reading a lot about dead pixels on galaxy S/2/3 forums, mine is a special case. The screen is perfect all the time, the wallpaper is nicely displayed, but when I run the screen test, and when I use a blue background, I have a black dot in the top left of the screen, well I told myself that the pixel is dead, no big deal for the price i paid (still the best gadget i owned) but when switching to black background, the same dead pixel turns blue !!! (this is annoying when watching movies with dark background or totally black wallpaper) still, I can't notice the dead pixel in daylight, the only way to see it is in complete dark room.
well, I don't know much about Amoleds since this is my first one, but I don't understand why this pixel don't display the color when the system call for it (black dot on blue), and it turns ON when it should be OFF (blue dot on black)?!
any thought about this problem ??? is it repairable since i don't have any warranty ?
I had the same issue with my sgs2, samsung replaced the screen under warranty. I am sorry I don't have any useful information for you I know you don't have warranty

thanks mate for your feedback, in this case my problem is not repairable without a new screen replacement
anyway am using it without problems, and the pixel isn't that remarquable.

Have you tried any Google Play apps?
May or may not help, worth a go though
yes sir, i did nothing changed! maybe the problems that Google play apps can cure are different from mine.

I tried those apps too, they can't antagonise the pixel as its not a traditional lcd panel, nor will massaging it.

Hi Everyone,
I just bought a brand new galaxy note 10.1 in India and i had high expectations from this tablet.
One of the prime reasons i decided on this was the s-pen.
After a day of use i noticed that the s-pen is not recognizing my hand motions on the screen at 2 points.
Has anyone faced this kind of issue with 10.1 till now?
Looking forward to your replies.
Thanks
Yeah the same has started to happen on.mine. Only some aps though, like lecture notes.
Directly under the camera for about 1/4 of the width of the screen the pen does not get recognized.

Yes i also observed the same position.Just below the front camera.
I also observed that the particular area gets a little hot if I am using wifi. Probably because the
antenna might be below that area.So i am thinking if this could be bcoz of magnetic fiedelity.
Request other users to please check for erratic s-pen tracking around the same position.
Samsung needs to fix this if its a design flaw as the s-pen is the key selling point for this tablet.
Thanks
Dear all,
Recently my mobile fell down and a white line came on the screen. The touch is working perfectly on that part and when i showed it to the repair shops they said it is a display problem not the touch panel problem. How much does a display cost roughly for the GALAXY R please help me
6-8k around.

Hi there, I have purchased Samsung Note Edge last year. It worked fine until February then it got one thin hairline vertical line in the middle of the screen, it was there for a week and disappeared. Then came and become 2 lines, after few weeks the screen had 5 lines, I was under the impression that it will be covered under warranty as HTC repaired my brother's phone when his phone screen got blacked out. In May my phone got like 50 vertical lines on the screen, reset but no use. When I went to Samsung Service center in Kukatpally, the representative said it can't be covered under warranty as the screen is pixellated, I have sent an email to the executive team of Samsung with reference # 2135672812 , they told me over the phone that I must be dropped the phone that's why the lines came so not covered under warranty...This is my first Samsung phone and experienced this kind of an issue...Samsung is such a big company but can't correct there manufacturing defects , the works fine but only the lines making little making it look bad. one of my colleague did not buy Samsung S7 edge because he feared of experiencing the same defect...the vertical lines are pink the middle and green on the right side...I will use it and let the people see this defect from Samsung phones...please advise...
