After winning the contest held by Honor Club India, I got an opportunity to experience the event live in Shenzhen, China. This post is all about the launch coverage of Honor magic phone.

Event started around 2 PM China time (11.30 AM India Time) and the fans were excited to the fullest. We met fans from many colleges, universities and many other people at the Hotel and the event hall.
Registration counter at the event- Only for media and few fans as almost all fans were already enrolled in hotel.
Small bunch of people (less than 2% of what we had in actual launch hall)
Just before the event was started....empty chairs but there were none after all fans and media person entered. We had massive crowd, fans and media persons during the launch and was a mega hit.
Some gathering but only 1/3rd here as event was not yet started (panorama effect)
Entire event was presented and Phone was launched by Honor Global President, Mr. George Zhao.
Phone design and everything is just awesome but many of you may feel the cost of the phone is little bit on higher side but trust me that justify the phone design and features.
Phone runs on Android 6.0 out of the box with screen resolution of 1440X2560 and 5.2 inch display, powered by Octa core HiSilicon Kirin 950 processor. Phone is packed with a massive 4 GB RAM coupled with 64 GB internal memory. Phone display looks stunning and design is somewhat reworked and looks really stylish. Phone feels extremely premium with glossy finish and is curvy so fits the palm well and is very sleek.
Phone also supports fast charging with USB type C port.
Phone is priced at 3699 RMB and is available on Tmall.com, vmall.com JD.com and suning.com

“The Rex Hispanarium Campaign - By 1034, Sancho the Great of Navarre had incorporated Aragon, Sobrarbe, Barcelona, as well as Asturias, Leon and Castile, and he proclaims himself Rex Hispaniarum ("King of all Spains"). In the next year, 1035, Sancho III dies. His lands are distributed among his four sons:
García, his eldest son, received Navarre and the Basque country with knowned supremacy over all of his brothers, a sort of a better higher kingship, meaning more resources; education; health. Also enlarged by portions of Castile.
Ferdinand, received Castile as a kingdom.
Gonzalo, received Sobrarbe and Ribagorza as kingdoms.
Ramiro, obtained the county of Aragon.
Your campaign objective, as king of Castile, is to reunite all kingdoms, becoming Ferdinand I, El Magno "The Great" and get proclaimed Emperor of all Hispania ( Imperator totius Hispaniae or commonly, Rex Hispanarium).”

OK, enough of the advertisement, let’s get down to the facts: I haven’t played such a bad game in the last few months. Except for, maybe, Lost in the Pyramid.
Their homepage is HERE, which itself has very bad design and a lot of English mistakes. The game is compatible with all WM5+ Pocket PC’s. It doesn’t run under WM2003(SE) – but, again, I bet you won’t want to play it either.
The good
None
The bad
no sound / music at all
really ugly & pixelizated – I haven’t seen so pixelizated a game for ages
text next to unreadable because of the color; and, in the help / briefing, often cut off
very simple and hollow game – there’s little strategy in there, except for wildly tapping some icons. In no way an Orions or an Azgard.
Verdict
This is the first game of Sidegence. However, this doesn’t mean they should release such an unfinished cr*p, particularly not for $14.00. Sorry – there’s just no better word for this game. This game wouldn’t be worth getting even for free, let alone $14.00. I’d say it’s even worse than the games produced by the infamous IBE or Emcon Emsys Tech.
This could end up changing the mobile phone market as we know it. Just proves that Apple is evil.
Apple launches sneak attack on smartphone world with ARM bid
Apple has never played well with others, and is well known for their use of proprietary technology to lock in customers and vendors.
Despite opening their own chip design company, it must have rankled to still have to rely on Cambridge-based ARM Holdings for the basic design of their chips.
Given their $40 billion cash hoard however Apple does not have to put up with the situation for long.
Rumours are currently going round in the markets that Apple is looking to buy the chip technology company for a cool $8 billion, seeing the ARM’s share price shoot up 8.1p to 251.1p, and more than five million shares changed hands by midday.
“A deal would make a lot of sense for Apple,” said one trader. “That way, they could stop ARM’s technology from ending up in everyone else’s computers and gadgets.”
ARM is somewhat of standard, with their chip design being widely licensed by many companies, including Qualcomm, Samsung and Marvell and all current generation smartphone operating systems being tied to the chip design. If Apple were to stop making available further design improvements to others it could leave other smartphone makers scrambling for an alternative which no longer exists.

I like this guy. With a domination of Intel in a CPU field, he manages to run the company, that designed and manufactures the CPU everybody wants.
Apple will continue to rotten...
From the time Jobs released ipad, the portable pc tablets have been in furious battle, changes never stop, except the mainstay product ipad series, more other brands are bored with their identified products, like Motorola, Sumsung & Lenovo. According to market diversification, manufactures compete to develop all kinds of special-designed products, thus, tablets' strengths are dotted everywhere from designers' mind.
Here I'm willing to give a comprehensive review on two classical tablets.

Frankly speaking, compared with the former tablet, the latter is better equipped, possessed with stronger functionalities. By practical operation, we can install and play 3D games on Zenithink C71. Besides, not only can you process multi-tasks with your control panel, but high-definition videos are completely supported for broadcasting. All in all, the most value stuff relies on its interactive design of video communication.
To evaluate the two, the later one counts better performance, better reaction speed, better touch-sensitive, better software compatibility and smoother apps processing.
It's no doubt the user experience counts the most important point among all other specialties.
Shortly, the portable panel tablet has now developing from ARM11 to Cortex A8/A9; customers are more emphasized on the functionalities and user experience.
Okay, I said somewhere here that I'm checking out China phones. I know most of them get bad rep, but I think there are decent ones and I'm thinking, why not? I'm starting to afford stuff, and I'm thinking about gaming in Android. With some China phones being affordable but with good specs, maybe it's time to buy one even as a spare. I am currently looking at this:

Anyway, it looks good enough and affordable but I have some questions on choosing a possible gaming phone:
* Would this work with most games?
* Is it better to have this, or would it be better to buy something like a gamepad controller/add-on to Android phones, like this one which I saw from the Accessories thread here: http://dx.com/p/wamo-wireless-bluetooth-gamepad-for-android-ios-cell-phone-pc-black-222605.
* Do you have any other suggestions on anything that would involve being able to use dpads and buttons for gaming?
Anyone?
Hi,
This is my third app based on fluid simulation. I did smoke and water before, and now it's time for fire.

It's basically a modified regular smoke simulation, with some shaders on top.
If you have a moderately fast device, even a pretty advanced post-processing effects (motion blur, heat haze) should work fine.
If you have any feedback or questions, let me know!
We really need more lwps like this I have magic fluids and waterfloo and they are both awesome my favorite on my note 3 was magic fluids and now it would seem magic flames will change the show anyhow I have tested the free version and so far sooo good unfortunately i can't comment on the paid app as of yet because my credit card is being replaced but I believe it will be perfect. Also @_Mad_Scientist_ why not try to change the scenery I mean yeah it's a beautiful lwp but I guess users will try to use high graphic settings and in result more battery drain why not do some 2d+3d lwps like space planets super novas or whatever those seem to be selling good and some of them are very battery friendly on top graphic settings just a suggestion and a wish actually i would love to see one of those kind developed by you in any case thank you for your work it is awesome; -)
@sephkateno : Thanks a lot for the kind words! What you say about my apps using lots of battery is certainly true, that is the price to pay for these simulations.
Your suggestions are good, however one's business model should be such as to take advantage of one's strengths. I'm good at coding graphics/physics. Typical live wallpapers are usually based on the work of 3D/texture artists. That's something I have no clue about and I'll never be good at. It's more likely that I'd switch to games (with rather minimalistic graphics, of cource ).
I tried the demo version. The effect is amazing, really nice job!
I do not know if it is in the full version, but a nice feature would be if you could extinguish the fire and start a new one (or several new ones) by touching or swiping on other parts of the screen.
Good job!
