If you want root access, SuperSU will need to be flashed, v2.79 works for me. After flashing, your device may boot twice before boot animation, don't worry it'll be fine after that.
If you have any issues, grab a log after a clean flash, upload and link here please. Add steps to reproduce the issue in your post.
Do not report issues dirty flashing this over some unofficial build or with some kernel flashed.
Logcat Extreme app is great as you can choose to start recording a log just before reproducing an error and stop recording just after so you log just the part you need.
Xposed is not supported here, if you want to run it and have issues, try an Xposed thread for support and bug reports here only welcome with a clean install with no Xposed present

@Anandroy bro does this rom has option to disable proximity sensor during call like MIUI? My sensor is ****ty and screen does not wake up after call unless other party hangs up.
Or can you suggest any other rom which has this feature?

usb driver detected on windows?
because any rom with based CM14.1 nothing detected usb driver on windows. can't tranfer data with data cable. "transfer file has cheked in option, but storage mi4i still not show on windows with based CM14.1 ROM". How with this rom?

About Project:
Citrus-CAF, unlike the name suggests, was initially based off CyanogenMod in the early days of its inception, we even had another name at that point. Later, taking into consideration feedbacks of the very first slew of testers and carefully studying the needs and demands of our users, we rebased the project to Code Aurora Sources, more commonly known as CAF. i think thats not a bug.. In Lumia Windows phones, they hav included to automatically turning ON the phone while charging.. may be the same option is included in the CAF
juz now i flashed the ROM ..but when i install kernel auditor it shows no root.. i think Root is not inbuild in this ROM.. and also there is no option for enabling Root on Developer options

Yeah...... This ROM isn't pre-rooted. You have to flash SuperSU or any app which you want.

[otus] i had flashed it with SuperSU zip file together.. flashes soon.. bootloops for 3-5mins.. system app remover is awesome work on it.. there s no music player , u have to install it by own.. there is no special kernel options when i used kernel auditor.. but i think USB fast charging is automatically enabled.. when i connect through usb it charges quite fast, rather than other ROM.. SOT for 6hours consumes 33% in home when adaptive brightness is on and ambient display is off.. and i don't know why he added LTE(recommended) on Mobile networks.. it is Otus.. its not a surnia.. and thank you for this Otus build..

development stopped for this rom
magnetic sensor doesn't work,and there are some force closing issues.
sir i am using indian lenovo k3 note k5a40 and i flash ro using twrp and my rom perfect but suddenly after few days it showed contacts storage not working . it showed two option close the app and mute it till device restarts but none of them worked and it kept on flashing in the screen. sir plz help me
Can anyone tell me, How much ram it is going to use, currently I am using AOSP( lineage OS) and it is working fine but yet it consumes around half of my ram, only approx 500 MB is available for use.
Double tap to open problem
Hey guys do anyone know to disable double tap to open cause when I have my phone in the pocket it automatically opens and it launches apps like it turns on flash light, opens chrome and search's something , it even calls. Thanks in advance

Bug reports
No support will be given for problems caused by Xposed, MicroGMS, other kernels, Substratum themes, different TWRP, different firmware, other tweaks (build.prop, etc).
Logcat required with Clear description of error.
Does it happen on clean flash?

3. Does VertexOS work with other GApps, TWRPs, firmwares, SU, kernels, tweaks, Viper4Android, etc?
- Please feel free to try, but I may not give support for issues caused.
4. Deep sleep issues?
- Reboot or clean flash.
5. Mobile network issues?
- Toggle airplane mode to see if it fixes the problem. Please check your APN and Preferred Network Type in Mobile Network Settings. If your APN is missing, please share the APN you want me to add.
6. Why is the security patch in "About phone" outdated?
This ROM tracks CAF, which lags behind AOSP by a bit. However, you shouldn't be worried about this because CAF brings in the latest security commits even when the stated security patch level in "About phone" is outdated. Trust me, I've compared the commits of our CAF tag with the latest AOSP branch commits, and also with the Android Security Bulletin. Please just wait patiently for CAF to update the security patch string. I can easily change it and 'cheat' you guys, but I'm never going to do such a thing. So please be patient and know that your device has the security patches.
7. Facing odd drains and issues with apps (message notifications not showing)?
* Stop restoring them with Titanium Backup
* Stop using hacky tweaks
8. Google Play Services drains?
* Clean flash
* Stop restoring everything with Titanium Backup
9. Losing Magisk root?
* Don't enable the BusyBox option
10.Can I dirty flash over previous builds?
* Yes but you may face some issues.
11.Is it Pre-rooted?
* NO.
12.What about Google Assistant?
* Its in the Project by Default.

I'm unable to install this version ([rom][7.1.2][official][17.07.17]in my Lenovo a6000 plus.i tried to install the previous version ([rom][7.1.2][official][17.06.14]),it installs and strucks at boot loop. What should I do
