I am trying to flash the newly arrived CyanogenMod 14.1 Nightly ( cm-14.1-20161221-NIGHTLY-onyx ) on my Oneplus X When I try to boot twrp3022, it says "FAILED (remote: dtb not found)".
Device : Oneplus X (ONE E1003)
tried recoveries :
twrp3021
twrp3022
twrp3030
cyanogenmod14.1recoverynightly
these above mentioned recoveries gives me that dtb error.
Twrp 3020 boots succesfully but gives me error 7 (TZ Assert Failed) while trying to flash latest CM14.1 nightly.
Any help would be great.

Hello.
What I did:
I was using TugaPower 32 and unfortunately decided to install this rom https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3497300.
Installation was successful but rom won't start properly so I did a full wipe and tried to install last version of TugaPower, when Error 7 occurred.
I've thought that Error 7 means that i'm using old recovery, so I made an attempt to install the lastest version of TWRP through fastboot.
Installation was successful but now I'm not able to boot into recovery at all, tried philz and twrp recovery.
So what do I have now:
No Rom installed
Completely working fastboot
No working recovery.
Really need your help guys!
P.S. When trying to made fastboot boot recovery.img
downloading 'boot.img'... OKAY [ 0.300s]
booting... FAILED (remote: dtb not found)
finished. total time: 0.331s
EDIT: flashed original firmware with fastboot, lost all data but everything works perfect.

Hello,
I wanted to install a custom ROM on the OP6. I unlock the bootloader and flash TWRP. At the launch of TWRP I flashed the ROM but it did not start and now I am stuck in the bootloader.
When I want to flash TWRP I get this error message: FAILED (remote: Failed to load/authenticate boot image: Load Error) and nothing happens.
Do you have an idea ?
Did u follow the instructions, BC it's not the same as previous devices, what fastboot command did u use and where did u get the files from
I use the tool all in one.
And the files come from XDA

Hi,
I got quite a few issues with my phone.
1. Every time I use TRWP it shows me "Failed to mount '/version' (Invalid argument)"
2. If I try to flash an image via TWRP I get the message: "E:Cannot flash images to file systems"
3. I tried to flash the sys.img in Fastboot mode before, but I got the message: "FAILED (remote: sparse flash write failure)"
4. I tried to install a zip of lineage OS but got "ERROR: 7". I read somewhere that it was the wrong version...?
BTW: I DON'T want to install stock rom. I would appreciate having Lineage OS on it.
(Last OS was stock (EMUI 5, Android 7). No OS atm. )
Could someone please help me with it? I am just too inexperienced to do it myself ^^
Thanks in advance and sorry for your wasted time.
Yours
Elias
Hello friends,
On my Pixel XL, I am trying to update my TWRP from 3.3.30 to 3.3.3.1 by installing the .img via TWRP recovery.
However, when I try doing that, I get the error message "size of image is larger than target device".
Anyone know what this means and how to fix this so I can install the updated .img?
Thanks!

Same error while flashing GSI. Im using "fastboot boot orangefox.img" to boot into recovery and I failed to install twrp using the zip.
You can't install the twrp/orangefox img. You have to get the installer (ZIP file) from the official twrp website.
