[Completed] Hard Bricked Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge - XDA Assist

I have a Verizon branded Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I rooted the phone. Later, I was trying to make some adjustments to the radio antennas and the phone hard bricked. I cannot factory reset or anything like that. I believe the bootloader is locked because I cannot load anything from the SD card or any other options.
I have tried re-flashing to the stock ROM using QPST Configuration, but it fails every time saying that the "Write failed" (as in no write access).
Part of the issue was that my phone would not be recognized in the COM port of the device manager; this was the problem that was not allowing me to make the radio adjustments. When I tried to get around this, that is when the phone bricked.
Are there any methods to re-flash a Verizon branded phone that is bricked and has this write access issue?
Thank you!

[Completed] S7 Stuck on Smart Switch software error screen after ODIN Flash

Tried rooting my SM-G930T and figured it wasn't for me. Went to unroot, but flashing it with incorrect firmware led to a "FAIL" on odin. My phones stuck on the "an error has occurred while updating the device software use the emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software" screen, but using the smart switch software doesn't work. It says my device isn't eligible for device initialization.
I've tried different firmwares with different build dates but nothing had seemed to be working, and now i'm stuck here. Any advice?
Hi !
Sorry to hear about your pain , I always repeat , even though it sounds annoying , to properly check the device variant and firmware , especially for Samsung devices , before doing anything
I have looked around a bit but I couldn`t find a proper unbrick tutorial
Have a look at this discussion here and also post your issue , there are some good workers around there .
Good luck !

Which files exactly where you flashing?
Sorry for the post revive, but I'm facing the same problem again. If you're still willing to help, PM me and I'll give you the link.
same problem. 5th bootloader can't find stock firmware for it.
I wish I could offer some help, but I've given up on the Samsung Galaxy S8+. All of the reputable developers have moved on to better phones. I wish I could say it was good while it lasted, but I ****ing hate this phone and can't wait to get rid of it.

Need help unbricking SM-j737P

I bricked my J7 refine by turning off OEM mode and USB debugging. Whenever it trys to boot it says custom binary blocked by the FRP lock. Ive tried flashing the original files with odin and am getting this error

If it's just soft bricked and you can still connect to Odin and get into the download menu then follow my root guide, that should set you back right. If you dont want root then just do the step involving flashing the stock firmware files via the unpatched odin3 tool.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-j7/how-to/samsung-galaxy-j7-refine-root-magisk-t3924967

I messed up rooting s8+ now can't flash back to normal

Hi so found a guide on magisk on how to root s8+, but the version of twrp they used didnt accept touch input, so had to reboot the phone. I then flashed the latest twrp for that phone from the twrp website, but then when I went to wipe the data from twrp it said it couldnt mount some folders.
Anyway, so figured I should just wipe and start again. Downloaded latest stock firmware, loaded up the 4 files in Odin. if I use home_csc, the flashing process finishes in like 5 seconds saying successful, it should take longer since it needs to flash ap etc too but it doesn't seem to do that (but odin still says successful).
If I flash the normal CSC file instead, odin get stuck on "set partition"

Try to boot into recovery mode and factory reset again, and then instead of downloading the latest firmware, try to find a older firmware for you device and see if you can flash that

Trying to fix S7 Edge (SM-G935F) with stock OS (never rooted) stuck in boot loop

Hi,
I was in the situation as I described earlier in the noob thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/help-thread-ask-any-question-noob-friendly.2257421/post-85728889
Meanwhile I kept reading a trying to make my phone start again. So I tried to to flash my phone to stock to fix it.
As I wrote in the above post I have a Galaxy S7 edge (SM-G935F) so I downloaded the latest from the Netherlands (where the phone is from) and Vodafone (my original provider) from Sammobile:
I tried to use this one: https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/g...e/SM-G935F/VDF/download/G935FXXU8ETI2/607496/
I think that's correct right?
However the following happened:
Code:
<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..
<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
<OSM> Please wait..
<OSM> Checking MD5 finished Sucessfully..
<OSM> Leave CS..

So it doesn't seem to get passed boot.img?
Afterwards the behaviour was different and its asking me to try emergency recovery with Samsung Switch (which does not even list my phone). I can still get in download mode in the phone though and try flashing again but I only get the same results (or an outright reject if I try slightly older firmwares).
Is there anything I can do now or is my phone broken?
Do you have solve the problem? because I have the same problem
