Pixel Video-in options - Pixel C Accessories

Hello guys,
Does anyone know here if it is possible to send video through the USB-C on the Pixel? Preferably with HDMI
I know it's a weird request but this feature would really help me in creating an app I'm thinking about.
Edit: Never mind, I was in the wrong forum.

While it's not exactly what you're looking for, I think you may find some useful information here > http://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-c/accessories/usb-c-to-hdmi-adaptor-t3272378

Yeah I checked that out but the thread is more about video out solutions. I'm looking for video in

At the moment it is not possible. I bought a Hootoo USB C HUB with HDMI support, but apparently the HDMI out doesn't work.
Check the open issue (and star it) for more info at code.google.com/p/android/issues

Do wapps for the Smartwatch 1 work on the Smartwatch 2?

As the title says...do wapps meant for tthe MN2 work on the new Smartwatch 2?
I realise most of the current MN2 wapps will be modified in time to work on the newer watch but will the MN2 versions of wapps work at all on the new watch in the meantime.
Many thanks in advance.
I'm interested in this also, as according to this post on Sony:
http://developer.sonymobile.com/kno...upport-to-your-original-smartwatch-extension/
They should work without modification.

Hi there this is not answer but might help I have downloaded a few app and just seems like some work and some don't think developers should state whether it does work or not on smw2

Not as easy as it sounds. Unless Sony has released a smw2 emulator with the SDK, if a developer doesn't own the new watch, there is no way for them to check compatibility.

Can we do it?

Hi everyone, I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place.
A friend and I are restoring an old car and am thinking of doing something different for the dash, we want to see if we can use a tab for the main display but also have it removable and use it as the key.
Before I go into too much detail, is it possible to get or create software that can read the sensors that come from the engine?

Of course, it is possible. All you have to do is use Arduino boards with Bluetooth adapter and link it to your tab. I would recommend you to google about android car robotics or about arduino boards. I'm really not sure about the entire mechanism but I've seen such implementations. Keep trying and you would find a solution. All the best. :good:
P.S. Kindly search forums related to your requirement. This forum doesn't seem to discuss such implementations.

Wristband that control electronic devices

Hy guys,
I am an electronic engineer and I have created a wristband that he can read fingers gesture and he can talk by bluetooth with any electronics device. I thought about smartwatches. With my wristband you can do everything like answer a call, change song, change page..and all of this just with simple gesture finger.
I want to hear what do you think about that and if someone will be interested to try our product!!!
Thanks
How can we try bro?? I would love to test them

I own several smartwatches but have never done any formal reviews for a company or startup. I am however an early adopter with a lot of technical know how. I'm sure I could contribute in many ways

[Completed] Camera Control For Online Chat-Chatrandom etc

Hello all, been searching for an answer to this, but cannot seem to find it. I do a Google search and lots of spammy sites because of the keywords I guess.. I am an apple convert. My parents are both apple people and I recently picked up an Android tablet to try it out. I have had iPhones and an older iPad for a while, so Im new to the environment. I thought who better to know about this than the folks who develop for the OS?
If I go to a mobile website like m.chatrandom.com (don't judge! Im 20 year old guy..xD) on Android Chrome it will not give me the option of activating my camera. It puts up a little box and says to click my mouse in it to activate controls. If I use firefox I get a popup that lets me pick front or rear camera and microphone. Once chosen I cannot switch back and forth. Seems to me that I should be able to. Any ideas or help for this?
Thanks!
Steve

[Q] Video out on the pixel

Just looking for an answer....
Haven't seen it anywhere. I am sure i am not the only one that wants to know.
Thanks
What is the question you are asking?
No video-out, sadly

I am not seeing where they say no video out in that post.
Is there video out on the pixel
I guess if Google could say that their own usb-c to hdmi adaptor would work with the Pixel then we'd know the answer to that question. https://store.google.com/product/usb_type_c_to_hdmi_adapter
bad news
The answer is no. Here is a slightly more straightforward source: http://www.androidpolice.com/2016/10/10/psa-pixel-pixel-xl-not-work-googles-usb-c-hdmi-dongle/
