Im afraid it doesnt work like that ... AN efs backup is specific to its hardware..so flashing some1 elses backup wont fix ur phone... If your phone's efs partition is corrupted and you dont have your own backup...You are pretty much screwed...Theres nothing you can do now..except replace the motherboard...You can still use your phone but you cant make phone calls or msgs...I feel sorry for you....really i do.. I also wasted my S3 like this and then next time i goat phone...the first thing i did was backup my my efs partition!

It's in the efs folder, but if you didn't made backup I don't know how to restore it, maybe in some samsung repair service with Z3 box???

You are DONE for. End of story.
If there's a CM7 port for Galaxy 3, you can use that to provide a temporary IMEI, but once you flash back to stock firmware the imei will disappear again.
I have Samsung grand prime(G530H), I update a custom rom to my phone but mistakenly I forgot to take an EFS backup. After that my imei no was changed. Also I’m unable to connect to network. Also I’m unable to find NV data files on my phone. Pls be kind to help me to fix this.

Im installed a custom rom (CM13 6.0) For My Galaxy J7 (SM-J700F) After that my IMEI had changed and i can't use my netword and calls again .
how i restore my old IMEI again ?!
I think if you flash the stock rom your old imei will be back
If possible Plz Find another J7 which have custom recovery and backup his efs than put it folder from his phone to ur phone In backup folder than restore it...
I think its backur network....
Note: Do it first before Flash any rom... Backup all files with twrp

Hi I'm using the Galaxy J700H phone its like 2mos old, and have the exact same problem, so please can someone help? My problem is, I think also is my IMEI number? When i dialed *#06# on my phone my IMEI is 350000000006 and FTW that's not even my IMEI anymore, I have the original IMEI number here backed up but i tried everything, step by step. But sadly nothing worked out. I used this sim card in all of my phones and lastly when i wiped out my phone and flashed custom rom in it, then this happened, then i decided to flash the stock rom that has been downloaded from the sammbobile.com website, after that nothing happened. My phone always displays EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY.. pls help

i have used TWRP and wiped many thing then i lost IMEI my samsung galaxy S6 ver Korean G920K
Can some use TWRP backup EFS parttition for me plz, now my S6 have no signal no baseband.
P/S. if u have EFS partition backup file already it in \TWRP\BASKUPS folder, my email [email protected].
