After so long, the wait is over! Here is the first beta build of MIUI 8 Global for our Moto E 2014

Xposed Works?​Not tested, maybe in future versions​
What works?
All the basic functions (Wifi, RIL, data connection, Bluetooth, camera, sound, and more)
What does not work properly?
-Mobile network signal doesn't displays correctly sometimes (displaying as No SIM card), but still working anyway for calls, text and mobile data. A restart (2 or 3 usually) can resolve this.
-External sdcard write/acess - FIX: Go to settings > installed apps > enabled documents app or watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrWoICi-6wI
-Documents app needs to be enabled again after a reboot - FIX: Turn Off MIUI Optimization in Developers Options
-Custom APNS created by user doesn't saves
-Secure WiFi hotspots doesn't work on some devices.. FIX: Install FoxFI app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.foxfi

Huge thanks was waiting for this for a long time. Finally arrived .Using it from a day and no issues except the mentioned. Also in accessibility many options give setting crash. Don't know its XDA issue or ROM issue but all XDA apps are not working. It was working fine in the previous ROM.

You can still contribute by fixing the bugs. Open source is all about contributing. And i think this rom was a real pain to port. Look at the contributor's list..

A better port overall the navbar can be hidden by pressing the quick ball toggle. The fix for no SIM card is an odd one though you have 2 double press the power button and the system crashes for it has no camera but then has both the Sims working. I found a feature though that by default the adreno gpu is oc to 400mhz instead of the regular 300mhz but as a result battery life sucks. As I am typing this 4~5% of my battery is drained also xposed does not work and causes bootloop. Hope these issues slowly get fixed

I drag them bottom left corner & they disappeared..?

This ROM has few applications! Which means that you should choose the GApps package that best suits you and you will be aware that it does not provide the standard Dialer app and that means that you will have to download it from the Store and soon after the permissions Required for the Application!

i got stucked in bootloop. can u tell me what to do? it got start to bootand i got black screen and again boot screen.
maybe i did wron somewhere.

Muy buena ROM, android totalmente puro, ya estaba pensando en quedarme con esta increíble ROM, pero se me ha presentado un problema. Las aplicaciones no tienen acceso a la memoria interna del dispositivo, da un error diciendo que falta la tarjeta SD.

Installed this ROM. ROM is bloatfree (Except Firefox browser) everything works fine, and this is what i wanted bloatfree pure android experience.
Some issues
1. FC while sliding in AOSP Keyboard (can be used GBoard)
2. No Charging % for offline charging (Not a problem)
4. FC, clicking on Date Month day year widget
keep this ROM Alive with future updates.

This is the purest, lightest rom I've used so far. No bloatware, just core apps only, this is exactly the rom I've been looking for.
I just say I love this rom!
Btw, I face a small bug, same as above post. It throws an notification saying "No SD Card", please fix this small but annoying bug in next release.
And one more thing, I would be so happy if you remove Firefox from this rom, we all know that we have many browsers to choose, depend on browser's features and our habit (I'm using Opera Mini). MainstageOS without pre-installed browser would be the best rom for Moto G ever.

I'll remove it, yes ... I did not find a better option! I will be keeping the ROM clean for user's choice!

If I dialed any number it won't display anything (but call is in progress). After dialing can't end call . this happened with google phone app.

You just have to give all permissions! There is no problem with the google app, just give it the permissions and select the default app for phone

Edit: it was because of magisk(didnt try super SU) without root it works like charm

The updated function produces a error message "The update check failed. Please check your internet connection and try again later". I guess this is because the update web site has been set up for surnia yet ?

Very nice rom, almost perfect for me, many customization settings, fair battery & RAM usage.
Low RAM setting on True (as on unofficial LOS 16)
Found bug on custom ringtones/notification/charging sounds don't work. However they worked, before complete setting & apps install, but it's not on my side because I use same settings on all ROM providers/versions.
Request : I would like to be able to edit/disable WheaterClient.

Clean flash v6.2, latest open_gapps nano and Magisk.
bt not tested, VoLTE not tested.

Found other bugs:
I'm now unable to send message or delete conversation with default app (receiving is ok).
So I installed another one (Pulse) and sending or deleting is working now, but no longer if I switch back to default messaging app.

Frenchy, XT1524 from 2016.01.26, TWRP 3.3.1-0, clean install (full wipe, ext. SD card, last build = v6.5, md5sum OK, no Gapps) :
"Device not supported, phone calls may not work", out of box, without any app added. Just swichted-off location and choose french language.
No more with SMS.
Same message after reboot and after power off / wait / power on.

Yes the ROM is fully functional. Microg just spoofs the presence of google play services. So all your apps work fine and it takes about 14mb ram compared to 114 mb ram taken by google play services.
By following the instructions you can install microG systemless-ly with Magisk so there is no problem about insufficient space in system partition.

Just wanted to say huge thank you to all the developers who are working day and night in keeping the falcon alive. You guys are awesome. ROM is terrific.
Known Issues:
1. Google contacts sync not happening
2. Setting up a screen lock(PIN) seems not working. Doesn't allow me to set one and when it finally does, It still says that the lock screen is 'swipe up'. When I enter the menu again, It does ask for a phone PIN and when I entered the PIN I just typed in, It gives me an error. I Ignored it however since there is no PIN being asked while unlocking the phone. But then again, When I rebooted the phone, It boots up till the lock screen, waits a few seconds, and then proceeds to reboot again on its own. Its come to a point where I had to wipe it clean and install fresh. Its definitely not a bootloop however

Achei esta rom excelente muito Fluida pra uma versão teste! quero muito a atualização dessa rom vou utilizar ela.

1 Lock Scren, só fica no deslizar voce coloca outro tipo de senha e não pega.
do resto Excelente Rom!

I will also have a few feedback and solution for sync contacts and calendar that I've found, addition to above comments of community.
1. Screen cast is not working.
2. Superior features crashes when we touch lockscreen option.
3. Standby is great but, power consuming very much than to Los 14.1 when using. Sot about approximately 4 hrs.
4. Battery percentage not readable in qs if you used light theme. (That's because font is white as bg also I think)
Now the solution I've found for syncing.
1. Download sync adapters from apkmirror site.
(GoogleContactsSyncAdapter.apk and GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk)
2. Boot to TWRP and open terminal type cd system/system/app press enter
3. mkdir GoogleContactSync press enter
4. mkdir GoogleCalendarSync press enter
5. Now go to file explorer in TWRP and copy GoogleContactSync.apk to system/system/app/GoogleContactsSync, and GoogleCalendarSync.apk to system/system/app/GoogleCalendarSync.
6. Assign chmod 644 to these apks by using file explorer in TWRP.
7. Now boot to rom and give all permissions to Google Contacts Sync and Google Calendar Sync apps from settings, and reboot.
If all done correctly, adapters must be working and syncing.

The ROM worked surprisingly well as I tested it two weeks ago, but as I started the Moto G again today for a quick play it just boots to the lock screen and restarts itself..

If you have flashed Magisk...
What version of Magisk are you using?
Try uninstalling it as I've found with other phones. Sometimes, Magisk just causes boot failures.
Also try uninstalling mods as they can also stop the phone booting up.

Installation:
Enter to recovery mode and make a backup of your EFS & Modem (recommend).
Now, go to the Trash Bin and then go to the "Format data" tab, type yes and the tick to format data.
Go to the Wipe tab, select SYSTEM, CACHE, DALVIK, VENDOR, DATA and INTERNAL STORAGE, then swipe the bar.
Install the crDroidAndroid-10.0-xx-xx-v6.xx.zip
Install the GApps zip
Install Magisk (optional)
Reboot and wait. Without GApps, it boot in 15s. With Pico GApps, it boot on 1min 5s.

Sometimes, the camera can get inaccessible if an app was failed. If it happen, follow this:
Install this app. Open it and tap "Kill camera", then give it ROOT permissions. Done! Camera is working again.
Take in mind that if the camera is broken and you didn't do this, the audio in calls maybe not work.

This ROM can run GCam. Download a modded version for Exynos HERE. Thanks to Leonardo Estacio for his mod.
Games: this ROM works so good for gaming and can run ARM64 apps/games. If you feel lags, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Saver and performance > Performance Profile and set it to High Performance.

I hope if there is another build for crdroid kindly add call recording in dialer and smart charging feature with batt_slate_mode as ctrl file because this works for J6. Thanks jn advance good rom though.
