hi can any one point me in the right direction im using the gear 2 with my samsung note 4 running 6.0.1 mm
ok first things first i have all the important notifications on so in essence everything's works the way it set up but my question is this
after a few day let say 3 day's of the gear2 powered on it just stops getting the notifications like no messages nothing just the time but miss calls, messages, calls nothing now in order for me to fix this i have to restart my gear 2 but it never did this in 2 years when my note 4 ran on kit-Kat or lollipop i never had to restart my gear 2 and i have the latest gear manager installed from scratch no luck my gear 2 last about 3 to 4 days from 1 charge but every day i must restart it at least once to prevent this is there any reason why this is happening

Hello All,
I recently purchased a Samsung Gear 2 running Tizen R380XXU0BOA2 and am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 running Android 5.0 and running Gear Manager version 2.2.03.16033141N with Gear Plug In version 2.2.03.16033141N
A full charge of the phone can last 2- 2.5 days with medium use and not connected to the phone. A full charge of the watch can easily last 3-4 day when not connected to the phone.
However, when I connect the watch to the phone using BT, I can only get 8 hours or so from either device. Both end up with less than 5% battery life after both sitting there overnight and not being used, but connected via BT
From what I been reading in the forums, this is not the norm.
Does anyone have any idea what I can do to remedy this?
Or is there another program out there like Gear Manager that may connect differently to BT and the Gear 2?
Thanks,
Also....FYI, neither phone nor the watch is rooted.
Well, I found out that Gear Manager version 2.0.14042803 is much easier on my phone and gear 2.... Only issue appears to be that if I go out of range, I get the message BT is disconnected. And when I get back in range the phone does not connect automatically.
I simply set the Gear Manager app not too look for updates, and when it advised me there is an update I am able to cancel it and it stays at the same version.
When I first got my watch, when the inactivity warning showed up, it also told me to stretch and showed some suggestions on how to stretch. I can't seem to figure out how to get that to work now. Any suggestions?
Using a S7 Edge on final Nougat Beta, with Gear S3 Frontier on ~APJ9
Not at all sure what I did, possibly just opening S Health but, it started working again today...
Mine doesnt work are you on Tizen 3 or 2?
Hi all, i bought the S3 Frontier two weeks ago, all went right until this morning. I have noticed heavy lag in the clock dial. I've disabled AOD, and when i check what time is it the second hand (as the chronometer in the chronograph default watchface) stops, and starts to work even after 15 seconds. The only one app I've installed on is the HERE navigation like 10 days ago but the smartwatch worked perfectly the same. I don't know if that problem is brought by Tizen because when i bought it i obviously installed all the updates. For me it's so annoying....
Anyone can help me? Am I the only one that have the same problem? :fingers-crossed:
Thanks a lot!!
I'm experiencing lag as well especially after the recent update. Very disappointing and makes me want to take the watch back as I just purchased it less than 2 weeks ago. I'm not sure what kind of fix there is.

Are you both on Tizen 3.0? What's your Software version number? I'm on Tizen 3.0.0.1 with Software version CQL1 and I'm not experiencing any issues and I just bought my watch 2 weeks ago also.
Yep Tizen 3.0.0.1
Software Version - R760XXU2CQL1
It's just not fast like it should be.
We should be getting a new update soon. Hopefully this will fix some issues.

Doesn't this article say our current build (CQL1) is the new and latest update?
Are you fixed this issue?
I've something like you problem.
Watch hands stops after screen on. And wake up for a few secs after tap on the screen, or button press.
do you reboot the watch every day ? Tizen is bad with memory management and need to reboot often to clear memory old data.
Gear S3 memory etc. can be cleared from the Gear app on your phone
Settings >> About Gear >> Tap RAM Icon (top right corner) >> Clean Now
The Gear S app is a bit unstable and sometimes needs to relaunched to get it to work.
Clean now botton is disabled on my gear s3 app.
Hello wise people!
I'm having a strange issue with my almost 2 year old gear s3 classic.
It started 5th of January, where someone asked what time it was and my watch was several hours ahead, and the date was 2 years off.
It had happened 5 times since, it can be 1 hour or 20 hours ahead/behind, and the date can be a couple of days off or several years...
The watch is connected via bluetooth, and wifi on auto, so it shouldnt change the time/date since my phone is correct.
It's fixed by turning the watch off and on again, i also tried restoring it to factory but didn't help.
It's paired with and IPhone X btw.
Is there anything i can try? Or should i sent it in on warranty? (warranty runs out in march)
No one?
For my sons, I made 3 watch faces in GWD some time ago. They are sports related. All was well till a few months ago when one of the watch faces disappeared. Till date, I have re installed it 3 times, no problem installing it but it will disappear again in 1 or 2 weeks. It happens to just this particular face. The other 2 are fine on watch (gear s3) and phone (galaxy s8).
Can anyone think of a possible reason for this?
Best regards,
