I am new here at the community and wanted to root my phone (Honor 6 plus) with the best custom ROM available. Kindly suggest me one and it will be really appreciated if one can provide the steps of rooting the phone as well.

Greetings and welcome to xda. There is no such thing as a best rom everyone's opinion is different. The best thing to do is install a custom recovery then you can back up and restore at will.

So I've had the Honor 4X for a few months and I really don't like EMUI. I was wondering if their is any custom ROMs available, I already have a rooted device with CWM installed. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Exactly my phone aint there in the search bar last time I wanted to do custom things for galaxy wonder it helped a lot cause it was there in the search but my this phone aint there I need help

Greetings and welcome to xda. I think this is the correct custom recovery for your device

all the instructions are there, if you are unsure of anything just ask in the thread and the experts will help you. Once you have twrp on your device installing and backing up roms is a breeze all though there does not seem to be a great deal of development for your device

Some stock ROMs can and some cannot, it depends on how files are compressed. Can you show me please a screenshot of what folders/files are on stock ROM?
