Hi
Can some one port the flyme os from the latest mexiu mx 3 to nexus 5 ?
Is the new OS kit kat based? Won't do any good if it it's still stuck at 4.3. This is why I believe MIUI hasn't made its way here yet.

Will, looks like flyme os is now KitKat and 4.4.2. Any takers for porting? Willing beta tester here!

I need a HK firmware version (in .zip format). The CN version of Flyme 3.6.1A uses .bin file format.

have been searching for a while now, but the mx3 only got the kit kat test like 5 days ago, might need to wait awhile before the hk zip
but would be awesome to see flyme os on the n5 though (btw finally noticed a fellow Norwegian, with a n5 must be my lucky day )

Already managed to convert it into a zip.
I am working on the port now, currently WIFI, sound and camera is broken but stuff like RIL works.
It does seem to crash a lot though, and i get low memory errors.
Oh, and i can't log into to my MEIZU account because they whitelist access by IMEI

Please, somebody can help us? We will need a reverse engineer for the drivers to port and somebody from Lineage crew.
AFAIK, the problem with the published source code by Huawei is that the camera does not work.

Can you provide the technical details on the error messages ?
There is a LineageOS image for Honor8 (which has problems with random crashes) but the actual kernel interface differences between Honor8 and Mate9 are minimal.
Sorry I don't know the details but there has been some discussion in this thread:

The camera itself works, it's when you take a picture that the image doesn't save.
I narrowed it down to a sqlite error when trying to save:
Code:
06-09 12:00:45.188 E/SQLiteDatabase(26762): android.database.sqlite.SQLiteConstraintException: UNIQUE constraint failed: gallery_media._data (Sqlite code 2067), (OS error - 2:No such file or directory)
I'm not sure how to fix that actually.
gallery_media._data seems to have a dot too many imo, but maybe it's supposed to be that way.
I never tried with another camera app, to check if it's just stock that doesn't work.
Edit: This can apparently mean 2 things, either the db is not read/write or the ID (gallery_media._data) already exists.
Edit 2: Actually, this error no longer exists on B185.
Google Camera works fine. It's just Huawei's camera app that doesn't work correctly.
Then, if the kernel works, what are the general steps to start working on a Mate 9 Lineage port?
If the kernel interface is similar to that of Honor 8, shouldn't the Honor 8 Lineage sources be the base for a Mate 9 port?

Apparently the unofficial lineage for Honor 8 uses stock honor 8 kernel.
I'm syncing now, might take a while.
Hopefully we just need to edit the Honor 8 sources for Mate 9.

I hope so!
It seems like we need some serious talent to get a proper rom ported.
I started messing around with building the kernel but, given my lack of experience, I wouldn't expect much.
Any progress on this my friend? @ante0

There are few more devs here maybe you should unite. Don't give up just yet.
How far did you get/where did you get stuck? I've got time to mess around with things next week. @ante0

I've only just started. I changed everything in devices, vendor left now. But that's just replacing Honor 8 text with Mate 9 text.
Got to replace files too.
I'm not a dev, I'm more a fixer guy xD
I'm not a dev, but I have programming experience and am willing to help since I'm now a Mate 9 user.
So guys, anyone set a team to work on this?
#I am not responsible for any bricked devices!
#Thermo-nuclear war!
#OR your alarm clock failing to ring , resulting in you losing your job!
AIO FASTBOOT!
What it entails;AIO fastboot is a small peice of software that aims to make the whole fastboot experience less long-winded and intimidating for beginners and lazy people!
(if you have allready bricked your device multiple times and are a brick- hardened veteran , you can walk away.)
.Instructions are packed in the installation directory of the software, but here you go :
1. Make sure that adb and all relevant drivers are installed.
2. With your system boot and recovery image , name each respectively 'system' 'boot' recovery' .img , and place them in the same directory as the .exe file.
3. Try not to brick your phone.
.Please dont hesitate to notifty me about any bugs and issues
.Also, please dont hesitate to give me new ideas and request any new features!
Compatibility
Has only been tested on the p30 pro (VOG L29) an the p9lite (VNS L31)
-But should work with any device

Noob here: can you unlock bootloader with this?
Instantly deleted by Windows 10 Pro+ Kaspersky.
Is there any confirmed superuser/root app that supports p30 pro?
Huawei P30 Pro price dropped to 130 USD, I hope we get more dev support now.

Ha, yeah too bad they locked their bootloaders recently. Lineage could have saved their ass.

Oh why would they do that? It could have been a win-win situation for them if they let the devs in xda do their thing lol camera could have been improved a lot.

Do not download / execute the file.
It's ransomware trojan which might damage your Windows Installation.

Hello everyone,
i'm here today to ask you probably the most impossible question in this world i guess... Can somebody tell me where can i get a stock rom for my honor 8 FRD-L09C432 with emui 8.0?? I think i visited like every site that could have it but it's disappeared from the whole web... Every site has a 404 or is completely down (hisuite included) and the only file that i found was the update file from emui 5.1 to 8.0...
Actually my phone has a custom rom (won't boot, it's broken) and custom recovery (twrp that luckily still works). If someone can help me in any way i would really appreciate it. The best thing would be a magic link that let me download a magic .zip file with the stock rom, but at this point i'm open to every type of solution.
Thanks everyone and have a good day
Hi, I've got the link for you, but the download speed ain't too good, I couldn't find a better free link for it.
paid links cost about 50cents though.
the version is 8.0.0.562 (C432) for L09 devices,
here's the link
hope you can use this.

I have to thank you so much, I wasn't able to do nothing with my phone and I decided to search an original update but I couldn't find it anywhere, but finally I found your message and finally my phone works again
The only problem was downloading the file from the host, I had to download at 150KB/s, it was slow as can be,
but I really appreciate that you shared the update, thank you man
