Hello everyone, I'm still on MIUI 7.3, and recently I've been facing issues with the wifi automatically turning off. Thus, attached is the logcat copied after the wifi turns off, can someone please help me to identify the issue. Thanks in Advance!

This problem has been happening with any ROM I have, it has only started to happen recently, my Wi-Fi used to work flawlessley untill I changed ROM's, updated it's firmware etc etc. Would anyone know of a possible fix to fix this issue? Because it's really bugging me! I have Wi-Fi set to never sleep, and always be on... What am I doing wrong?

Hi Dave,
Don't expect much from my solution since I am still a noob but this once happened to my device and I installed WiFi Lock from Google Play and enable it. It fixed the issue for me. Hope it will also fix yours.

Thanks for your reply! I've tried what you suggested and sadly didn't work, I did find an app that forces high performance on my phone and that seems to fix the problem though I don't want my phone running Wi-Fi at max power... What happens with the app you suggested, it keeps the Wi-Fi signal, but transferring stops... Weird huh... With the High Performance Widget this doesn't happen. With sense based ROMs the Wi-Fi is working perfectly though.

Well I have been using this ROM for sometime now, It is smooth.
The only probelm I am facing is the Wi-Fi is not tuning on, It is very irritating. It keeps on searching on the battery drains and keeps the phone awake.
Anyone else having the same prob??

Since I updated my phone to CM12.1, it locks randomly. I thought that's the issue patern is the switch between WIFI and 3G but I discarded that idea.
I think that the problem is caused by Bluetooth because since I disable it the system is stable.
I can't attach files and links. How can I send you the logcat of the error and phone info?

I haven't had any problems with mine locking up, but my Bluetooth crashes when my car tries to read my SMS messages. Settings --> Apps --> All --> clear cache on Bluetooth Share

I have faced issues with the Wifi on my OPO since the day I got it. I researched a lot about it and found out that it's a problem faced my a lot of OPO users. Just to summarize the problem: The Wifi connects but after a few minutes (in sleep and sometimes even when the phone is in use) the data transmission stops. The Wifi icon shows that it is connected but you can't access the internet.
I had this problem on the 11s and when I read 12s had solved the problem I moved to 12s. But the problem still persists. Here are the things I have already done:
Wifi in sleep - Always
Restored factory settings
Installed app WifiKeepAlive
Installed 12s (15th Aug build)
I have seen a lot of posts but haven't seen a resolution in them. Appreciate if someone could help out.
I used to have a similair problem on my old One until it broke due to water damage. My new one doesn't have this however.
Perhaps a kernel issue? Try flashing a different one and see if the problems persist.

I'm here because i have a issue with my device.
So when i turn on my wifi in the notifications tab it turns dark greenish and turns off after couple of seconds. I've tried reflashing stock rom and factroy reset and also the *#0011# > wifi > 'off' situation.

The problem still presists if you have any recommendations please post and help me out.
I'm also thinking it may be a hardware problem i just don't know the location of the 'wi-fi antenna' because im too cheap to take it to a hardware store :laugh:
