Hi all , I have a group chat on WhatsApp that I've muted but every time I get a message in the group my phone still plays the notification tone , it's a galaxy s7 edge running stock 6.0.1 anyone know of a fix , massive thanks

Hi guys just upgraded my s6 to s7... on my s7 if I get a missed call I don't get the details in the notification like I did on all my other Samsung. It just says missed call and not who etc is there anyway to change this I have tried all the call and phone notification settings ?
Hi all , I'm using an s7 edge , android 6.0.1 and I'm having a problem with the mute in whatsapp , in whatsapp group settings I set it to mute but I'm still getting a " beep " on my phone , I've set it to silent , no vibration , no pop up , no led and it still " beeps " never had this issue on my Lg g3 using same settings , anyone have an idea ??? I am facing serious viber call issue on GS3 frontier , whenever i answered viber call on phone(Moto Z). The GS3 hangs and start blinking my name as viber call and goes totaly unresponsive . On the phone the voulme menu showup blinking and as long as it blink the viber conversation goes muted.
once i disconnet the call from phone. GS3 stays on viber call menu with blink screen untill i forced resrart.
Anyone there expereicing the same issue ? and any solution ?
I have the exact same problem, I now have to shut down the Gear S3 Frontier to answer Viber calls. I saw your post on the Samsung forum and how they conveniently blamed the App when it only does this on their watch... Im waiting for a solution.
Same thing happens with my Classic using Facebook Messenger. Very frustrating.

Hello. I'm sorry for my English right away. The problem is that after downloading Android Wear on the Galaxy S8 and pairing with the watch, notifications about missed calls are no longer displayed. They are not on the watch or the phone. I've turned on in-app notifications. Can anyone have such a problem?
So I've been having this problem for a while now. Basically, when someone calls me on Whatsapp, I can hear ringtone but turning locksreen shows nothing. Same thing when I unlock the phone, say for example I am on the home screen, I can hear ringtone, but no pops up notification to tell that a Whatsapp call is taking place.
So, this means: 1) if I'm at the lockscreen and get Whatsapp call, I would have no way to answer or end call. 2) if I unlock and use the phone and the Whatsapp calls come, I also dont know if it is Whatsapp and also cannot swipe down from notification and accept/reject call.
So, I would need to physically open Whatsapp and then it would show a call is coming through and so i can accept/reject call.
Reinstalling whatsapp fixed this problem. However, I believe it is only temporary. My settings: AOD off, Edge Lightning off and does not send notification for Whatsapp.
Does anyone else experience similar problem? Strangely, Whatsapp call is the only thing that causes problem.
