Greetings - apparently you can download the Watchland.wgt file and sideload to your Samsung watch so that you can select watch faces being sent from the phone app
(You can get the link from their facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/DaragonTech/)
BUT I can't seem to sideload the app??
I've downloaded all the SDK stuff and in the tools folder (where sdb.exe is located) I've copied (along with Watchland.wgt) the following certificate files I created in Gear Designer ie
author.p12
device-profile.xml
distributor.p12
I then put watch into debugging mode and connect to wifi.
In a console window I typed. (IP dependent on user).
sbd connect 192.168.1.21
followed by sdb install Watchland.wgt
BUT I then get the invalid ID errors etc..

How do I solve this???
where are you getting the device-profile.xml. Tizen is not generating one for me?
Edit: NVM, I got the device-profile.xml to install. But I get the same error. I tested the app on a emulator and it installed. I guess it is not ready for Gear S3 yet.
I had a gear s2 so I guess it showed up as a purchased app when I got my S3 so I was able to get the widget from the gear store. That's the only thing I can figure because for everybody else they say they don't find the companion app.
A few users asked how to sideload the Watchland app to the watch, I'll give a step by step how it worked for me.
Stuff needed
1. Tizen Studio installed
2. Watchland.wgt from https://www.facebook.com/DaragonTech/
3. Samsung account to create your certificates
Steps
1. Put your computer and watch on the same wifi network and connect them by "sdb connect xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:26101" (sdb.exe is in the tools directory of wherever you install tizen)
2. Start Tizen Studio, goto Tools -> Certificate Manager to create author & distributor certificates (Samsung and not Tizen cert profile) with your Samsung account (your Device Unique ID (DUID) will appear in the distributor portion if your watch is connected in step 1).
3. Goto File -> Import -> Tizen -> Tizen Project -> Select archive file and browse to wherever you downloaded Watchland.wgt. Check Watchland and finish to import it.
4. Right click Watchland from your Project Explorer and select Build Signed Package.
5. Find location of the Signed Package "Watchland.wgt" (right click on Watchland.wgt properties in Project Explorer).
6. Use sdb to install to watch, "sdb install \\path\Watchland.wgt"
If you see messages below, rejoy, you can now choose Watchland as watch face on your watch.
Don't forget to give a thumbs up if it works for you, Cheers.

Can you confirm Watchland.wgt is downloaded correctly (1.87MB).
You can also try to clear your workplace (delete everything in there), usually at c:\users\xxx\workspace.
Great Thanks . I did try and re-download the wgt file and this time there was no error but I couldn't see anything in the console window. I too had certificate issues and didn't realise you needed a Samsung Certificate (and not a Tizen one) - I'll try again later but I think it'll work this time

EDIT:
Strike the below I think I got it now.....NM for now
Do you have a link to the Tizen Studio. I downloaded the SDK but it's saying I need several other things including Visual Studio etc even though I check ed everything in the Tizen SDK so I want to make sure I've downloaded the right files etc. Would me much appreciated!
I DID Google it but there's a bunch of things in the results and I want to grab the exact items from the beginning instead of guessing....I'm going to use my 3 day weekend to master this once and for all
I went here and downloaded the largest file the 4XXMB one and then installed everything within it etc from all the turn down arrows...when I go to tool, create certificate it's not there so made me thing maybe I opened or downloaded the wrong file....just curious....
Thank you

All good, I did it! Watchland widget successfully installed.
Thank you.
Guys, this method and watchland are valid for the S3 or are only for the S2?

It works on my S3 and I believe the same for the S2.
OK I made it! But... Why every face I download goes black even if I set the AOD "on"?
Is it because all these faces were made for the S2? And also the most complicated one (like charge reserve or tourbillon) fail to load on my S3.
Has anyone some advice to share?
Edit:
I found that the faces I was using were stored onto the memory card (so they were old). I downloaded some new ones and indeed they work as AOD.
Some faces though stay forever in "preparing" status and never download.

Guys is it me or using Watchland has a huge impact on battery life of the S3 when compared with stock watch faces?

I'm having the same issue installing 3rd party apps to my Gear 2. I thought it may have been Note 3 related but you have an S4. I'm running Dynamic Kat 2.0 it's a AT&T Kit Kat ROM. My wife has a non rooted. AT&T Note 3 everything installs perfectly on her phone including 3rd party apps. If anyone knows of a fix for this issue that would be great.
Att note 3 knoxraid v5.6 kk, no problems with any apps yet, tried pretty much all the free ones.
I'm currently rocking Dynamic Kat 2.0 on an AT&T Note 3. I didn't have a version of Gear Manager on my phone at the time, so I had to sideload the S5 version, but no issues so far. I can even use some watch faces I purchased through the Samsung Apps store, and a few apps (namely a calculator app, but I was able to add it with no trouble)
Edit: I've run into a few issues now installing certain apps, the big ones I've seen mentioned are the CNN and Watch Styler apps (as well as Ebay, but I haven't tested that one.) So far no go. Some users have noticed any apps that require permissions seem to not work, specifically with custom roms.
I'm running dynamic kat 2.0 on my Note 3 as well, and I'm having trouble with a lot of apps. Only about 50% of them install on my gear 2 neo. When I was running stock, rooted JB the same apps installed fine. I made sure all my Samsung apps were running (non frozen) and reset everything, but they still won't install. Must be something missing.

What would be the best phone and ROM to use with it?
This is a known issue on dynamic kat. It's been logged in the spreadsheet and he's working on a fix. It's not all custom ROMs though, because I ran tweaked 4.4.2 for a day, everything installed prefect.

I switched to to this stock rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2679913
Was able to install Watch Styler no problem. Only issue I have is with S health and syncing steps from pedometer. It says to make sure latest version of Gear Manager is installed. I've re-installed both of these on my phone and made sure both were up to date but didn't work either.
Running X-Note v15 ND5 on a N900w8. Only issue is Hostsmanager FC's sometimes when the camera on the phone is accessed

i attached my working boot.img because asop seems not build the kernel from source.
Hmm, from the logs it looks like graphics issues, might need some new cflags.

My sources finished this morning, I'm struggling with kernel. Got most compile errors sorted but it won't build the submodules for WiFi. I don't know why
Sent from my GT-i8190 using XDA Free mobile app
Disable kernel building in your boardconfig.mk.
you have to build the kernel and modules manual or use that from your cm11.
If yiu have the zImage copy it to out/target/product/p920 and rename it to kernel.
Also you have to copy your modules to system/lib/modules in your out folder
Sent from my LG-D855 using XDA Free mobile app
OK, I have put the kernel aside for now to start on 5.0, what I did find thou is that in the kernel there a 3main folders for display. Drivers/video/omap2, include/video has most of the header files for the drivers there and include/Linux .with the kernel I was testing, a lot of the s3d compiler warnings can be sorted through these folders. I wish I knew some programming languages, so that I can tackle it. Some where in there can may also set the 1.9 GPU binaries. The omaplfb folder in drivers/video/omap2 has a lot to do with the implementation of the PVR stuff it seems.

About Video Recording i remember that i fix it once by copy some Missing files.
i make compare between cm10 and PacMan 4.2.2 rom and copy the missing files in bin etc lib vendor etc... and make them as flashzip and flash it
and video recording work.
u should try it maybe it will work also with cm or nameless.
@tropii I had to reset my vm because I ****ed the hard disk image some how I'll build tomorrow a new build when the download of the sources are done.

Sadly I lost volte, my home button does not work and neither does my multitasking button! Got to reflash the original firmware again! Also, I can't access settings from notification menu, cannot expand quick settings and have to download my Indian firmware capped at a speed from samfirwamre. Sad to say but all this is a big hassle just because I flashed your script.
I am not a newbie user and can tell for sure that this script is not working and it is crashing the system. Do not risk to use it. A very good debloat script that is working fine for 6.0.1 stock rom is the urwsoft barebone debloat

sorry mate for the late reply. i hope, you will read that.
look at the first post in the linked thread from me.
i'm sure, there are many entries as same as in this script, but i don't compare this two script.
i'm only modify both scripts to uncomment the lines, that the scripts doesn't allowed to delete. and in the linked, i have removed the csc features, i only want the debloat part of this script.
Does this script work on this(http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/development/rom-noble-rom-t3409330) rom ?

Good work , gonna try it tomorrow
I updated my Gear S3 today to the new Tizen 4.0 and used Tizen Studio to rebuild two apps I've written, converting them to the Wearable 4.0 API. I did the usual Build Signed Package in Tizen Studio, with my usual (unexpired) certificate profile set to current in the Tizen Certificate Manager (author certificate verified by Samsung Author, distributor certificate verified by Samsung Tizen DEVELOPER Public).
The rebuilt apps install and run properly on a Wearable Circle 4.0 emulation. But when I try to install them on my Gear S3 watch, I get an error: The application installation on the device has failed due to a signature error (error code -12).
Any idea what the problem is or how to fix it?
In Tizen Studio 3.1 I saw only this:
https://developer.tizen.org/development/tizen-studio/download/release-notes
Fixed the failure in generating a new certificate profile after 01 January 2019.

Thanks, but sdb says "device not registered", probably for the same reason.
I didn't know T4 was available for the S3 Gear "officially", guess you side loaded it?
Well, what about that. Just checked and an update is available.
Recalling my memory, I encountered similar problem after upgraded my watch to Tizen 3 from 2.
Finally I reinstalled Tizen studio, created new distributor cert and cert profile to fix it. What a nightmare.
Hope you don't need to fix it this way.
You could check your apps also with RTL:
https://developer.samsung.com/remotetestlab/gear/rtlDeviceList.action
Maybe only st.pid Security changed something...
But SDB is other problem... because I can still connect my SM-R760 with good old SDB version 2.2.60...
Also with Tizen 5.5...
In DSA1 only I have to reboot... before f&5ing SM-R760 was able to connect...
Maybe enable Debug require restart/reboot...
Best Regards
