i'm currently creating my first custom rom, but i don't know a name for it yet.
it will have features like: deodexed (of course ), aosp lockscreen toggle, 4 shortcuts on samsung lockscreen, rotation in lockscreen (if there are no layout problems with this) google keyboard (if i get it to work as a system apk, if not, i will let the samsung keyboard stay, so you can download google keyboard from playstore) maybe long press to kill app, full black status bar and black toggle background.
if you guys have suggestions on what more to add, please comment
oh, and most of the samsung bloatware is removed except for splanner and the widget, and it will be rooted with busybox build in
tonight i will post some screenshots of the mods i already applied and tested

i don't know about creating custom kernels, but this is my first try at a custom rom, i will start with that
if it's going to be a success i will look into the kernel thing, never done that before

would you guys mind if the aosp toggle is only in english and dutch? if so, i will add the other translations as well

i have build the rom, but i can't seem to flash it, i will try and fix it, maybe it's something with the updater script

well, any will do ..but english is the main language ofc..
did you make from base..like using ndk and samsung kernel from source.? or you just edit them from stock..

i just started experimenting with rom development, i just modify the apks, and then build the rom, but can't flash it after that, so i'm currently trying to find out what went wrong with the zip

the problem is with cwm i supposed...you should check with edify file on kitchen..(if you using kitchen)

i am working to port s5 new ui to our device but i need devs help or anyone know how to port and find errors
i do this because i like the new ui of galaxy s5 beside many people want this so let's start working on it

logcat not working so i cant take a logcat after install the rom it stuck on logo then reboot

Now exynos dev forum going to be exynos general forum. recently many threads started here have nothing to do with development.
If you needs help/guide just look to general forum, if you needs special general forum for exynos you can request to administration and they may consider if it is really helpful.
Request all users here on exynos to keep this forum clean.
Now to main question
-Looking to screenshot we already have magazines,launcher, S5 UI for settings,Quick toggles and recent panels.
Regarding Finger pprint you will never get on Note3 and so also paypal payment system.
Missing part is SystemUI, then better work on how to port SystemUI rather than full ROM port which give easy way out.

simple change on build.prop is enough for new statusbar but Launcher doesnt work very well with Note 3.

you cannot port the whole rom to Note 3. CPUs are different. You need to find a device that has the exact same CPU, hardware and also DPI and resolution. it's almost impossible for Exynos.

no you are wrong its possible the only different is cpu and its already ported to n9005 so its not impossible to port you just need to know what files need to changes/modify and its the same android version

maybe it's because both are Snapdragon??? Snapdragon and Exynos have totally different architectures. I saw same thing happened when I tried to port a rom from Snapdragon to Tegra 3. It doesnt work. maybe with combining kernels with ramdisk(if i'm not remembering wrong)? It's tough work and before sparing time to something huge like that we need AOSP or CM first.

You don´t need to wait! Download and test!!
You will find some bugs but we all can help to get the bugs resolved and have a perfect port of a Touchwiz 4.4.4 rom.
GigiliNe told me just before going to sleep that he found how to fix the no signal bug so I guess he will give it tomorrow
PS: if someone know how to fix a bug that is also present in the thread created by arter97 for the Galaxy S3 it would be nice to let him know so he can fix it without spending time doing research and tests

As this is based on arter97 port I think its good idea to help each other to get a basic base fully working.
And once thats done, then everybody can use that basic 4.4.4 ported rom for their own purpose.

tread reportet to xda because i dont gived any permission to use my rom! when its uploaded i will download it and see in the folder because i have some modification in the rom that the darklord dont have. like the rebase to g920f rom etc!

i use only a few applications from your rome. And as for Permission and your despair activities related to the use of my your files.You have permission from Samsung to modify files.?

samsung have the opensource. and no you are not only using some apps but the complete lib folder and i see this because i have hiden changes in the rom and these are reported to xda. and an other thing do you asked darkera? when you want a rom than make byself one and not stole the one from other because the camera fix etc its from me. i have it allready reported its not my problem now

not at all. the beta of my rom was based on darklord. the only things that my rom have now from darklords rom are the framework folder etc. the complete lib folder is anew one with complete s5 files

i have the fixes on my private build and i have a 5.1.1 s6 edge rom too booting but wil no one give permission to use then the 5.1.1 one like for the sense 7 rom i wil not give any permission. i will now wait that the admin write back

How to Install
1- You have to be on BOK2 Modem & Bootloader Using Odin latest version, otherwise the rom wont work !
2- Download Kyubi ROM and copy it in your internal storage after doing a full Wipe to everything with TWRP.
3- Flash the Rom zip.
4- Reboot and wait about 10 minutes .

Fingerprint wont recognize your print when trying to unlock your device for ONLY the first time

yes unfortunately , but since we dont have great custom MM roms i consider this rom the best till now

there is a chance it will work , but i didnt test it as i own only G901F
1.Check your baseband version, if it was lower than BOK2 (901F),OI4 (G906),then upgrade to BOK2+(901F),OI4+(906)
if you will try it you should install OI4 bootloader and modem
Edit : if you will test it ill apreciate your feedback if its gonna work or not

Will the wifi,camera,network work etc?as some people say that wifi is not working

yes it is but since i manged to port Note 7 Rom i'm no longer using it and the wifi is a modem problem connected , u should use Bok2 Modem as i mentioned

everything will work great , just the fingerprint wont work in the first time but after using the backup password once it will work after , but i suggest you take a look at the new MM ported rom
