Spoofing Device for Amazon Underground (formerly Appstore) - Android Apps and Games

Forgive me if this is the wrong place for this request, but does anyone know how to spoof your device for the Amazon Underground appstore? I bought "LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga" a while back, and now it won't load on any of my devices because they are "incompatible". (They are not; I played it on the same "incompatible" devices when I originally made the purchase, and the Play Store version has no such restrictions.)
The only compatible device I own is my 5-year-old's Fire Tablet with 8GB of flash memory, but given the size of the game (1.44GB, and apparently I need 2x that to install) I can't clear enough space to install it. I have 3 other devices with more than enough space, one of which is rooted with CM 14.1. I've tried changing the build.props file on the CM machine to match the settings found here, but that just makes the Amazon Underground app lock itself up and become unusable. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

You could try changing the product mode inside the build.prop.

I presume you meant ro.product.model? If so, yes, I tried changing all of the ro.product.* properties to no avail.

Google Play and application compatibility

What is the best way to get applications for the Tab Plus? The one thing that continues to be a thorn in my side is the limited selection of apps for this tablet. I'll see an application recommended or advertised, and hit Google Play and nothing, I'll check on my PC and see the app isn't available for my device.
I also have this problem with magazines on Amazon. The magazine works on the Fire but not the Tab Plus?
This is clearly a major problem for Android. Couldn't the apps just have an "intended for 7 inch screens" label or "intended for honeycomb"? If it works great, if not get your refund.

I have had that problem on some apps but when I installed it "in another way", it works perfectly. The "way" though is kind of illegal for some apps, but not for free ones.
Last version of Ustream app don't work, always show server error when try to watch a video.
Also last stumpleupon app is kind of buggy.
Wat abt apps if we install as apk. Does tat work for backward compatible appa??

ok you must root your tablet if havent so; look for the details of tablet that has similar properties as the tab+ such as the tab 7.7 or the galaxy s2; and change the following (if using the 7.7)
ro.product.model=GT-P6800
ro.product.brand=samsung
ro.product.name=GT-P6800
ro.product.device=GT-P6800
btw order& chaos game shows as purchasable.... not sure what would happen if you switch back i haven't; don't see the need.

Thanks, i dealt with this problem easier. Went to gameloft site and bought O&C there (is it cheaper to buy it there anyway) and just chose P6800 as my device. Installed the game, runs without problems. Just in case anyone wants to buy O&C.

[Q] Override OpenGL Reported by device

BACKGROUND:
I have purchased 5 Nextbook Premium 7 tablets, model NX007HD, for my children to use.
The table is google certified and comes with Google Play pre-installed, but many apps report that they are not compatible with the device (for examples: Angry Birds, Temple Run, Fruit Ninja Free, the list just goes on and on). Sideloading the same apps or installing via an alternate marketplace such as Amazon proves that these apps are totally compatible with the device and run just fine.
I could not understand why it should be such a problem when a much less expensive ($39) 4" tablet installs and plays these games fine directly from Google Play.
Using the "Android System Info" app and after some analysis it appears that the device is reporting its OpenGL capabilities incorrectly as Version 0.0 - I believe the tablet actually supports 2.0 as demonstrated by the fact that these applications run just fine if they are side-loaded.
I believe I can gain root access to these tablets very easily, but they are rather generic and as a newb I don't really want to build a custom ROM or flash the entire nand if i can help it.
I have searched on these forums and haven't seen anything that comes close to this issue.
QUESTION:
Is there an "easy" way to alter the OpenGL capabilities reported by the device without completely replacing the ROM?
Am I missing details?
If there are any other details I can provide please let me know. I'm working with the distributor and they are submitting a bug report to the manufacturer but it seems like it will take a long time to get it fixed through these channels.
I'm also open to suggestions on other forums or sites where it might be more appropriate to ask this question.

Amazon FireTV apps - Ripped for your pleasure

I've extracted the following apps from the Amazon FireTV for anyone who wants to tinker around and try porting them to other devices.
Bloomberg TV
Crackle
Hulu Plus
iHeartRadio
Netflix
Pandora
Showtime Anytime
TuneIn Radio
Vevo
Vimeo
ESPN
All the interfaces are pretty good, so we really get these working with other Android boxes (especially Netflix).
Get the whole 140MB pack here.
Thanks for the apps! thought I would try so I could make Netflix more remote friendly. First they failed due to no amazon app store, then fails because the app store says i don't own the app and I can't download the Fire TV netflix from there. I wish I could just spoof the check or disable it.

This. I'm sure it can be done. All dl'ed Amazon Apps associate with the app store...it's just a matter of decompiling the .apks and removing or altering some lines I assume. (Which lines? IDK...here I come google.)
EDIT: Last night I tried to change a couple setting in the build.prop to spoof as a Fire TV, no joy. The Amazon App store wouldn't even open. (Unfortunately, AppStore has closed) Also, it should be noted that this is on the latest nightly CM11 build.
Fire TV was shipped with the purchasers info already entered into the box. (Purchaser info in APpStore) My concern is that there is a tertiary check...like a serial number check in the build.prop, idk... I think that simply removing the checks from the .apks will do the trick...hopefully.
Mod edit: Please do not discuss Lucky Patcher or apps that rhyme with it
Can you tell me how to modify the build.prop? I want to try modifying it to try and fake GPS and location services by doing the following:
gps.enable=true
&
hw.nolocation=false
link
Hey DaveTo - I think we're after the same thing, location services on the fire tv. I sent you a message on reddit the other day about modifying the settings.db file, but that didn't work. Here's how to edit the build.prop. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1948558 Let me know if you get it working!
This is funny. I was just replying to your reddit message on how you should try what I'm asking above. Not sure this technique will help, I think its more suited for getting past Google Store restrictions, but give it a go if you want to try. I end up spending more time trying to figure this out than actually watching hockey games. Plus, it is truly frustrating that others with FireTVs have gotten this to work and you and I can't. I would love to get to the bottom of this, but I can't even get the checkboxes to enable.
Were you planning on adding these two lines into the build prop file? They don't appears anywhere in the file so I'm asking.
gps.enable=true
&
hw.nolocation=false

[Q] About Data Generating & Google Play Store

Hello guys, I have some questions about data generating and mainly modifying Google Play billing information, hope I can find answers here...
1. Each time I open Titanium Backup or Google Play has some update on apps, my external SD Card will generate 2 folders which are "data\com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup" and "Android\data", the second one will have some system apps folders inside suck as "com.android.gallery3d" and "com.google.android.apps.maps". I rooted my G3 and use ES file explorer to manage my files. But I didn't experience such issues in my previous Galaxy Note, which means those apps or system won't generate any app data on external SD Card. Most importantly those app folders (13+ folders) are empty and all 0.00 KB!
It is somehow annoying and I can't ignore it so each time I access my external SD card I will have to delete them manually. I wonder what is the problem and how can I tweat the system so that it won't generate it in SD card again, internal storage folder already contained all those app data folders!
2. It's about Modded Google Play Store. If you guys know the creater of Lucky Patcher also created the modded version of Google Play Store, and I found on the internet that there are a method which almost make you buy paid apps for "free". The website is in below:
http://www.8apk.net/2015/01/modded-google-play-store-download-install-chelpus.html
I wonder if this method is true... If it is then I think it would be chaos and Google will surely patch it... Because it makes you really get paid apps for free, imagine you paid for the app, save it and refund to take back the money, while you didn't really return the "product" you bought... That would be awesome if it can be done but I don't have the time to try all that... Is there anyone who are currently using this trick and it works?
3. Alright recently I have been paying attention on how to crack in-app purchases... I wonder if Freedom and Lucky Patcher works on server-based online games? For example One piece Treasure Cruise and Puzzle and Dragons if you guys heard of it, they require 100 yen to buy 1 magic stone or Gems and 5 stones to play a lucky draw to get a new character. Well although I think it has a very little chance to hack or crack it, maybe the two cracking apps won't work too, but I still have some faith on it which I think it may be possible...
I wonder why it works on Candy Crush or something like that, but won't (maybe) work on the 2 games I mentioned? Aren't they are using the same mechanism in Google Play billing? (Press purchase, connect to Google Play, a Pop-up displaying what you are going to buy, press buy and enter billing information, then complete purchase.) If they are the same then why we can't crack it?
4. I found here:
http://gameguardian.net/forum/topic/6279-another-in-app-purchase-hack-method/
That by using Lucky Patcher to "Patch to Android" and tick on "Signature Verification status always True" and then tap on "Apply" then reboot, and it will change how Google Play's status, that means the cracked apps you installed will also be regonized as purchased apps in Google Play and you got it legally. I wonder if this is true and is it still working?
And by doing that signature verification, can I skip the process of using luck patcher to patch Titanium Backup every time I update it from Play Store? This is a little bit annoying actually...
That's all of my questions, sorry for the long words but I really hope to get the answers... If it can't be done then I want to know because it has been consuming my time trying to find the answers... Thanks a lot in advance, hope you all have a good day!

Build.prop edits to install incompatible apps

After changing everything I can in build.prop, well everything any source on net suggests needing to, google store still sees my s4 as an s4. Everything else seems to see it as a shield tablet though.
Does this still work to trick googleplay to downloading apps it deems as incompatible? If not is there another way?
Want to download war thunder and a few others only available to shields.
