I'm using COS 13.1.2 and when I'm plug in my headset (any kind of headset with microphone) My microphone doesn't work.
I tried recording in voice recorder and you can hear anything. (I tried the headset on other phone and it works so the headset isn't the problem).
Any suggestions?

I want to record my phone conversations when I am using my Bluetooth headset (Because I drive alot).
At the moment it is not possible to record a conversation while using the Bluetooth headset. (I don't want to use a cable headset, because I get in and out the car alot).
The problem that occurs is that when recording with windows mobile it records your own voice, but not the voice on the other side.
I have tried with many other PocketPC's but I can't find anything that works.
Try it yourself if you don't understand whta I mean.
Does anybody have a solution for me?
Thx!
Possibly the problem is that when the headset is enabled the speaker of the phone is disabled.
So if somehow the speaker keeps working even when bluetooth headset is enabled it will record the conversation on the other side.
How to use the Bluetooth headset as a microphone only? and to play the caller's voice to use headphones(3.5 jack)?
I have a Plantronics Voyager Legend Bluetooth headset which I use with the Nexus 5.
(Almost) every time I make a call, the headset first blips and you can see in the dialer that Bluetooth is chosen for sound output.
But just after dialing, the audio is back at the phone (handset earpiece). So I have to switch to Bluetooth again. Then during calls, sometimes the audio is routed back to the phone again.
It always works when you move it back to the Bluetooth headset again but it is very annoying.
Phone has stock 4.4.2-latest.
Any other threads about this? Bugs @ Google? Couldn't find anything..
I guess it depends on the Bluetooth device you're using. My nokia bluetooth headphones work perfectly where as I face similar problems like you when I'm using it in my car.
Maybe try the app soundabout from the playstore. Seem to work (sometimes) on my N4 when I had phone audio problems.
Easy solution to my problem: Unpaired the headset and paired it again, now it works as expected!
I've been successful at routing both speaker and microphone audio through a USB headset on my OPO. In fact with Skype and 2 other VOIP applications it's just plug and play. It works with no special effort. But with regular phone calls, the phone completely ignores the USB headset.
Has anyone found a way to route phone calls through a USB headset?
Running 12.1, Temasek's unofficial ROM.
Hi! I have a problem with Bluetooth headset ,with other words the mic from the headset is to low,the other persons complains that they don't hear me. I have tried the headsets (3 of them) with oder phones and they work perfect. I have tried even hard reset but without results. Wired headset are working fine.
