Hi everyone, sorry if this is posted incorrectly. I have a S7 Edge that i recently flashed with a custom rom/kernal. Now my phone is boot-looped, freezing on the At&T logo screen. I can go into recovery mode, download mode etc. Soft/hard resets dont seem to do anything. I tried flashing with stock firmware multiple times. Any help or correct firmware link would be much appreciated.

Hello everyone, and thanks for taking the time to attempt to help me.
Earlier today, my T-Mobile Galaxy S5 updated to 5.1.1. I searched google and came across a few links on how to root my phone (G900T) - The one I ended up using was CF-AutoRoot
I used Odin 3.07, used the tar5 file from that site above where I downloaded the root, and attempted to root the phone. Odin says everything worked as planned ''passed'' was displayed with 0 fails. I waited about 20 minutes, but my phone never rebooted, it was stuck in a boot logo loop ' 'Samsung Galaxy S5 powered by Android'' or ''T-Mobile'' was displayed.
I tried going into recovery and reseting all data / factory wipe but that didn't help, and made it even worse. Now my phone says this when I try to turn it on: ''Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again''
How do I go about getting back to stock firmware , that is rootable, so I can then proceed to install CyanogenMod?
EDIT: I used Kies and was able to get back to stock firmware and the phone turns on.
Can anyone recommend a reliable root for the G900T S5?

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
It's good to hear that you managed to revive your phone. Many of us find it convenient to install a custom recovery such as TWRP which makes backing up and restoring, switching ROMs, and many such activities much easier. XDA happens to have an active and friendly area dedicated to the Samsung Galaxy S5, and specifically to the T-Mobile version at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s5. I suggest you search that area or simply post your question in the Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s5/help where our experts will be most likely to be able to guide you.
Hi guys, im new in this forum.
I have a problem with my galaxy s6 flat SM-G920F. It reboot by it self on the fist samsung logo.
I already tried with the Smart Switch Emergency recovery and with Odin as well flashing an official firmware downloaded from Sammobile.
None of these solutions worked for me, there is any way to save my phone?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (G925A) the phone is GSM unlock, no root, the phone is stock, the thing is that one day the phone suddenly went off and after that the phone never turned on again, when i turn on the device reboots in the Galaxy s6 edge screen, i am able to get in to the download mode and i have successfully flashed the device a few times with the original firmware using ODIN with out any different results, i am not able to get in to the hard reset menu, i can only get in to the download mode, what can I do? Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance.

You will have to boot into recovery mode and factory reset, that's the only way to recover from bootloops in stock ROMS.
Hi all,
I'm not new in XDA but i'm new in Samsung and yesterday i bricked my device. i own a Samsung Galaxy S8+ G955F
What i did was, first ticked OEM Unlock and USB Debugging in Developer options and then flashed the original TWRP recovery for Galaxy S8+.
After reboot the phone bootloop, i only can go to Download Mode and after that i trigger the Knox too.
If i try to flash an original Samsung rom i solve the problem?
Any help please?
Thx.
Solved by flashing a stock rom.
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S8+ using XDA Labs
Reflash stock recovery.
Jtag dead phone to life and rewrite IMEI
First of all my phone is the s8+ G955fd, but I am sure that the people that helped me can help most Samsung owners with bricked phones.
My phone ended up being stuck on the first boot screen, I couldn't get into recovery or download mode. I installed TWRP and after that I lost my IMEI numbers( dual sim), so I tried to reflash stock and thats when i became bricked. I searched someone to help and found reference to the Fonefunshop in England. I sent it there and they said that the eMMC chip was bad. I searched for someone who could write to it or put a new one on the motherboard . I found A2Z cellular in Ottawa Canada. They used jtag to restore it to stock and they told me that the Fonefunshop had not opened the phone which is necessary to use jtag as they claimed, so avoid them.
The phone was now back doing everything it should except the IMEI's were null like before. I gave them the original IMEI's and the phone is working like new.
If your Samsung is bricked these guys can probably fix it and it won't cost much to find out.

You need to find that devices forum and post there. This is for s8 plus only
