A while Back i tried to update my LG g4 H815T to marshjmallow using the LGUP method. I followd the thread on XDA.
When I was finished with it my phone got soft bricked. ( It booted up bu tgot stucj on the LG logo and blue LED flashed continiously.)
I tried using the same method but this time LGUP was not even recognizing my phone. Then I started searching for other methods i.e LGFlashTool but that didn't work either so I gave up on the phone.
The other day I was just sitting and realized thatthe issue may be that I flashed the wrong KDZ. Since the link that was provided to all the LG KDZ didn't have a file named just H815T.
Now I searched the internet but couldn't find out what KDZ to use. Any help would be really appreciated. Also, If someone thinks there could be another fix please do share as I'm not a 100% sure that i'll unbrick my phone even if I do find the correct KDZ.
here are the links i reffered to
the tutorial I used:

I have been stuck for over a month now and now I am forced to make this thread with the full story:
I bought an LG G2 D802. A few months later I updated it through the LG software update tool. This thing killed my phone. It installed lollipop and I then had these issues:
[1]no imei.
[2]no baseband.(FIXED)
[3]touch is not working properly. It is haywire. It does not respond properly at all and the phone is unusable
[4]no sim usage as no IMEI.
[5] ONLY 16 gb showing as memory available. (FIXED)
I did this. Using OTG to use my phone, I flashed stock d802 ROM (kitkat). This got me to Stock ROM but phone was boot looping. I factory resetted and it started up okay. I then found a way to fix the 16 gb issue by using a droid view guide called : "Your 32GB LG G2 Shows only 16GB Storage Space? Here’s How to Fix the Issue! " This fixed my 16 gb issue. But everything else same... Then I followed a guide to fix ESN but it demanded that the phone be rooted. So I rooted and installed TWRP. But I was not able to fix IMEI. So I then gave up I searched my issue extensively and found a thread (ON XDA) which i cant post here... But its name is: "Strange touch problem after upgrading my lg g2". There I read of other people who had the same issues. This basically happens to refurbished handsets, apparently. There where no proper fixes there. None of the people where able to fix their phones.
Some guy said that check your motherboard and install the software according to the motherboard. I opened the board and found it to be a motherboard of LG D801. No problem. I downloaded D801 software and tried installing with kdz method but it failed. And now so has the tot method. I have downloaded over 20 gbs of different software and roms. ALl of these roms where completely downloaded!! Please help me here...
Its not me only: These threads are after the same issue!!:
1. Name is: (on XDA) "LG G2 No IMEI, Touch not Responding After Update" (One person)
2. Name is: (on XDA) "Strange touch problem after upgrading my lg g2" (MULTIPLE people withe SAME issue)
I am not an advanced android guy but I can follow directions and I have adb, root, twrp, qpst set up.

Can you be more specific on the error when using KDZ and TOT? Please post a screenshot.

The kdz method just fails at 2%. But the tot method works. I installed jellybean to see if that fixed the problem But no go. Still have no touch screen and no IMEI. The major problem right now is touch screen ONLY!

Which TOT did you install? D801 or D802? I think it should be D801 because it matches your motherboard.

I agree that I should install tot of d801 . But the install fails. I tried using the LG_UP 974 dll file but that does not work too! The error is alwasys wrong model number. The TOT method works for d802 roms.
I am wondering. Should I flash a kernel of d801?
hyelton said:
Well that can happen if you flashed the WRONG model for your phone, and youd need to flash the correct model to fix it.
or 2 its an hardware issue.

You should install the D801 TOT. Here's how to do it.
1) Download D801 TOT
2) Download HxD hex editor
3) Open D801 TOT in HxD
4) Find first instance of "D801" and change to "D802"
5) Save new TOT file
6) Open Flashtool and flash the modified D801 TOT that you just created (use the LG_UP974.dll)
This should work to get D801 firmware onto your device.

Any possibility of hard bricking my phone??

I did what you said and changed the first instance to d802. Now a new error dialog appears saying: "failed previousload()"
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Your devices forum is the best place to ask for help, they are the experts on your device. Start with this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/lg-g2-sticky-roll-thread-t3123148 and follow the go back to stock. Also see this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2

It's unlikely you'll hard brick the phone. You've already put the D802 firmware on a board that you've confirmed is D801.
I had wrong firmware and subsequently lost the IMEI. I flashed the right one firmware (after modifying TOT because of model mismatch error), and the IMEI came back.
Isn't your phone pretty much useless already? I think the steps I described above is pretty low risk. You can find the answer pretty quickly by just doing it

Hello guys!
Where can I download the LS996ZV9 for the Gflex 2 (Sprint)? I can't find a KDZ nor TOT
I hope someone could upload a KDZ to flash and have the lattest update. My Gflex 2 is currently on LS996ZV5.
I'm outside the US so I can't get the update from Sprint.
Please help
- Leonardo
I am also outside the United States and am interested in the TOT or KDZ files.
Contact tung kick on Facebook he has the tot!!
What does outside the US have to do with this? (excuse my ignorance) I am inside the US and am wondering how to obtain the TOT. I was looking awhile ago and couldn't find it...
check this thread. i didnt tried yet.

Those are the stock .img system files, not full installable ROMs which only come in KDZ or TOT format. To use one of those files from that thread you just linked to you already have to have a working phone running a stock ROM (for the most part), then copy the system.img file (rooted or not) to the device's internal storage, then use the Send_Command.exe "trick" when the phone is in bootloader mode (phone off, press and hold Volume Up while attaching the USB cable to a running PC with the appropriate LG drivers installed) to pass on a dd command to write the img file to the system partition.
Not an easy thing altogether and nothing like just flashing a KDZ or TOT and being done with it either.
The OP and many of us, myself included, are still hoping to find a full ZV9 KDZ or TOT file because there doesn't seem to be one so far. We have a ZV8 TOT file (but no KDZ that I know of) and now that ZVB is out there's the expectation that we'll (hopefully) soon possibly finding a ZVB KDZ or TOT file which would be pretty damned awesome but I'm not putting too much faith in that happening.
Sure would be awesome to have a ZVB KDZ/TOT right about now however.
:crying:
My issue is quite complicated. Please be patient and read on.
Less than a week ago, I bought an LG G3 D855. It wasn't brand new and definitely out of warranty.
It was on the 4.4.2 Os version but I couldn't update it because I couldn't locate the UPDATE CENTER and after some research online, I found out it was because it was rooted. I couldn't find a Supersu application anywhere on the phone anyways but Root checker confirmed that it was rooted.
I downloaded the stock kitkat firmware in a .tot format and I tried flashing using LG Flash Tool for TOT but it failed because "Device version is different"
I checked the Imei online and it stated that the device is a Sprint LS990 but the details embedded in the phone all say it is D855
I checked online and found a couple of posts about this error and one user said he was able to fix it by flashing the actual Sprint .tot with the lg flash tool. I tried that but it didn't work. It still said "Device version is different. Check BIN or dll"
I checked online and found results pointing to a generic .dll file for G3s and I downloaded it but when I used it on the Flash tool, it resulted to an error "CrossDL blah blah"
So I found a Marshmallow kdz file. LGUP won't see my device model so I was able to flash it after editting the software in my build.prop to D85510n.
***I have always changed the port to COM41 in all the steps I used
The LG UP detected my model and it flashed to 100% but got stuck on a bootloop by loading the lg screen, freezing and restarting by it self. It never gets to the homescreen.
I downloaded lollipop kdz reflashed using LGUP in a form of downgrade and it got to 100% and got stuck at the lg screen while trying to reboot.
I redownloaded the stock kitkat rom and used the Lg flash tool but it failed. It said 'PID null IMEI Null"
I used LGUP to reflashed. It came to my understanding that the LGUP can flash both kdz and tot. So it flashed to 100% but got stuck at the lg screen and I have tried all I can but it is stuck. It can go into download tho. I don't know what to do about the IMEI. I don't know if the last flash retrieved it. I don't kniw what to do.
It no longer shows as LGE AndroidNet USB Serial
Please can anyone help me?
I just need my phone to work again. I was stubborn and now I regret it. I should have just stuck to kitkat. I'm so desperate to get my phone working that I wouldn't mind Android Froyo Os if it was ever possible.
PLEASE HELP!!!
I also had some what same problem with my old lg device ... Here's what you can do:-
Download any custom rom of your lg g3 Like Cyanogenmod and flash it via recovery.
Recovery can be stock or custom it doesn't matter.
Remember to wipe dalvik cache and wipe data before flashing the ROM. I did it and my device was working fine.
Remember that first boot
always takes 2-3 mins so be patient.

Only issue with that is I think the device would need to be rooted.. which it's not rootable. Which would explain most likely why there's not one already uploaded for the tons of users who attempted to downgrade.

Sadly it'll be very unlikely that root will be coming anytime soon for the H810 if at all at this moment.

Secure booting error after sd card unbrick method
I bought used h811, but it has issue of restarting every time I tired to uninstall any app or tried to go to security setting. So I decided to downgrade it (I have no idea about ARB at that time), the device show h811-21y, So I download h811-10n firmware & use lgup to downgrade after it complete 100% it get bricked, and show qualcomm 9008 on the PC. I then open the device and found out it is h810 written on the motherboard.
I tried almost every qfil mbn files present on the internet but failed.
Then I tired this firmware
LGH810AT-01-V21y-310-410-JUN-20-2016-ARB03+0.rar
and use this youtube method to create raw programme & patch
watch?v=RhG02kmSelk
Then I use sd card method as this youtube method suggest
watch?v=kX2Fm1zEx5E
my device show sign of life but stuck in "secure booting error 1009"
At that point I am totally stuck since I does not get any help with this error on the internet
