I was searching a good camera mod for my Redmi note 4 that compatible with omnivision module, and I found Htc Camera mode in the Kenzo Thread :

I tested this camera and almost everything is working: Hdr, bright video recording just like in the MIUI cam ( even in the latest google camera, the video recording is dark, especially at night) etc. The bugs I found are Panorama photo broken and Fhd (1080p) video recording is broken in both rear and front camera., but hd video recording is working fine.
This camera looks very promising and produce a good photo comparable to gcam. The link is below.

I found this app before two weeks ago.
And i prefered for my omni sensor better than the moto camera.
Its good apk.
The omnivision sensor is really buggy.

I tested it. Just enable Buffer fix and disable Google photos in setting, it can shot 10 photos HDR continuously (I don't test above it) but there will be a pause each shot (about half second). When I open gallery it showing 7 photos queued, 2 photos processing, and 1 photos processed. Whenever it crash, HDR still process, so you won't lose your photo. But until now I never rarely crash. Don't ask front camera, it won't work on pixel 3 camera, take pixel 2 camera for front camera.
This is my setting, and it's work perfect:
I install camera patch v2
Motion: for smooth off, for enable top shot auto/on
Video res: 4K (cannot record on low light)
Stabilization: on
Advanced: dirty lens off, HEVC on, HDR control off, RAW off
BSG MOD setting:
HDR+ Parameter: min 2 max 7 (change whatever you like, I use 2 for faster process)
Photos: disable
Libs: Savitar
FIX: Motion on, Buffer fix on, viewfinder motion and AE on
How to get top shot:
Install latest daydream and Google photos (daydream) from apkmirror. If you cannot update app, uninstall photos update first.
From here, your motion photos will get top shot selection by go to picture info

Front cam doesn't work mates,
Hello OP, I tried V2 patch. It is terrible. When I chose to capture video, i feel like I'm zooming in. I have to revert back to V1 patch. Even with V1, I can have front camera work in gcam 5.1 and night sight in G cam 6.1

Have you follow step to enable top shot?
Install "Google photos (daydream)" and daydream, take it from apkmirror
Also enable motion when taking photos
Use This App to record video and take picture at high quality without any problems (except image stabilization)

This is the most stable version of Gcam mod for Realme X tested on Android Q Custom Rom. All credits to Urnyx for the app. Tested all the features.
Pros:
1. Almost everything is working.
2. Zoom to 10x also works fine.
3. Night Sight working perfectly fine.
4. Portrait Mode working perfectly in both Front and Rear Camera
5. 1080P video recording is working fine, just change video recording settings to 4k in settings page.
Cons:
1. Slow Mo not working.
2. 60fps recording not working.

but the portrait isn't making use of the second lens (depth lens) on Realme X
I tried taking portrait while covering the second lens and without covering, and the results were the same... though they were great
I am a casual photographer and I always find BSG Gcam to be superior to other ports. Pictures come out more detailed, sharp and crisp. I am not sure about panorama, wide angle, 10X 50X 100X zoom, moonlight sunlight etc as I do not use them. The only port which comes close to BSG is Arnova's gcam. But unfortunately, it's not available for Realme X.
P.S. Do you know all GCAM ports are based on BSG. He was the guy who started it all.
Gcam 7.4 by Parrot043 is out and it work fine on Realme X2.

First look at the interface, Gcam 7.4 looks like Gcam 7.3 but when you look closely, the best things about Gcam 7.4 is more of cleaner rearrangement of the UI and the refinement of some important functions, like the FHD/4K Video recording toggle inside the video swipe down menu

This goes through the whole swipe down menu for all the camera modes. Short cuts of useful features has now been added to the swipe down menu making it very easy and useful in all the swipe down menu.

Indoor lowlight shots looked great, more refined as you can see below. Color accuracy, rich, good saturation, noise reduction etc it's quite a great refining of what Gcam 7.3 already produces.

There is some refinement on the night sight.
Below is picture taken in the midnight, first with normal camera mode, then 2 Secs of Night sight and then Astrophotography.

This is the first port V1 and it's for Android 10 + Devices.
I also noticed that a lot of features and advanced settings has yet to be ported to this Version one but as usual, Parrot043 do port features with more version release.
Good to know that 4K (30fps) works well.

you know what's the different when we downloaded the apk parrot provide atleast two, one original and one with clone apk. Can you tell me what the different? is it clone was already setting for us?

Not sure if this meant to be for realme xt phones or not, I installed it.
It works great except when I change the video res to 4K, app shuts down, whereas it works in full hd .
I was wondering if it can be fixed.
because I enjoy other functions of the program and I appreciate very much for the hard work.
I hope you fix it so that I could use your program rather than the phones default cam which takes 4K videos without any problem
