Gear s2 with calendar watchface - Samsung Gear S2

Hey everybody
I always used an apple watch where I can see (if I choose to) my appointments on the whatchface, but I can't see that option on the gear s2... I'm tired of apple so I switched to android. And I would like to know it there's anyone who knows how to build a custom whatchface with calendar build in.
Thanks for any help !

[Q] Using the Note 10.1 Keyboard With Samsung Smart TV's

Does anyone know if there is a way of using the Notes on screen keyboard with the Samsung Smart TV's? I use the TV's internet program for surfing the web but it takes forever to type using the tv's remote.
Spoke to Sammy on line but didn't get anywhere.
Any help would be much appreciated.
On my S3 I use samsung's all share control, but apparently it is not compatible with the note 10.1.
Anyway I found Samsung's Smart View works on note 10.1. Here is the link to play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.smartview.tz
Hope I've helped!

Samsung remote works. It used the regular keyboard...

Could you please vote to update endomondo extension for our smartwatch 2?

Hi people!
The fact is that I'm using a lot these last days my smartwatch 2 with endomondo and a geonaute band to control pulse but endomondo extension needs an update.
It seems it has been the same since smartwatch 1, and it's a bit ugly and doesn't support low battery mode. So if I want to see my pulse I have to press the button twice to turn on the screen while running! And that's annoying!
If they add low battery mode the screen would be on all the time! And it would be easier to run.
If you are endomondo users please vote for this feature in the next link, where they get ideas for the future
Thank you!

Hi people! I hope endomondo will update their poor extension for our smartwatch.
In the meanwhile, I've realised that we can use the new widget endomondo 10 brings to show info on the screen al the time combining it with the ap remote widget with low battery mode on
The bad thing is that we'll be able to see just one of the three infos available of the widget due to the small screen of our watch. So you should choose the most important for you, in my case heart rate monitor
A small solution that doesn't fix the full problem, but at least it's more comfortable than having to press the button

Awsome, cant wait. Currently extension look so poor.
I mailed them about that a week ago (even with photos from Endomondo and Runtastic running on my SW2) and got this answer:

Hi Markus,
Thanks for your email.
At the moment, we don't have any plans for a new smart watch integration. I'm sorry.

I really didn't expect them to do anything about it, but confirming it is really bad news!
Maybe runtastic has the exclusive with this model or something but it's a nonsense they don't provide the ap to someone else to do it for them, as I saw in the other forum, where one user offered himself to update it...
At least we can use remote widget with endomondo now ?

Any of You have this extension on their phone (or somewhere else)?
I don't care how it looks, but would love to just have it.

[APP REQUEST] Port NOTE4 or HTC ONE M8 MirrorLink for SGS4

Hello there!
I recently purchased the new Toyota Aygo X-Clusive and when I tried to use Mirrorlink, I learned that the neither the SGS4 or SGS5 can use the app.
I found a workaround for SGS3 using a newer android version than 4.2 which made it possible to have full mirroring. I tried it at my 9505 running KitKat, but without any luck.
Back in August the HTC released a working app for the HTC ONE M8, and I was hoping someone could port it! I have no skills on doing so, but as of what I could read, many are looking for a solution. I was thinking about starting like a fund raising to the developer who could make it happen
I'm pretty sure people would support it, as it was the case for the S3 full mirroring two years ago!
For what I know it runs on the following :
Samsung Galaxy Note 3
Samsung Galaxy S3 (but only Jellybean!)
HTC One M8
Sony Xperia Z3
But a full list is available at:
https://cert.mirrorlink.com/ProductListing/
I just learned it would be included in the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 too, maybe that would be easier? It would probably run KitKat or Android L

"Your phone is not supported, You can't run the game."

Hello, I am kinda new here (was reading XDA and rooting for long but wasn't a member), so take me easy!
My problem is: there is a game called PUBGM (mobile version of PUBG), it is in chinese, the developers chose certain devices to test the game on (mostly mid-range devices)... I wanted to try the game on my J7 prime and S6 edge+, however, it says my devices isn't in the scope of the beta-supported devices.
My question is: can I change the devices names to the supported one and it will work? I tried using "device faker" which is an Xposed module, it changes the name it the setting; even samsung store says not supported device ( I changed to Xiaomi redmi 3)... but the game is still repeats its message.
Any suggestions?
Why ain't anyone replying?
I have same problem please help us..

Most likely you are not getting replies because most here don't use Chinese software and many avoid it like the plague.
If it is not for your device means that it will most likely not even run it so you are just wasting your time.
Thanks for replying, but you didn't really help.

And by the way, does XDA dev/contributors say: "AOD (or any new exclusive feature) isn't for your device you are just wasting you time?" Just saying.

Thanks, but that also didn't answer my question.
Try this:
1)Root your device in one click with kingroot or any app you TRUST.
2)After rooting install .prop from play store(this app fakes the whole thing in a way that no app or game can know what actually you are running).
3)Grant root permission after opening the game.
4)Edit your device name with a supported one like pixel or any Google device.Edit your Android version to the latest one coz Google gets all the latest Android updates.
5)Save it.GET ON YOUR KNEES AND PRAY TO LORD"PLEASE GOD GIVE ME MY PUBGM".
6)Delete all cache data or clear data off the game. And launch it...
7)If everything goes fine you will be soon playing Pubg mobile.

samsung's bixby on mi mix 2s?

Hello everyone,
during the last days I heard an alert on a friends samsung galaxy note 9.
Flourish music and a fairytale like voice told something like: "hello, it is 9pm and the weather outside is...bla bla..."
That was an earcatcher to me and also samsungs bixby is a really smart assistant, as it seemed to me, after I asked my friend about bixby.
Well now I searched for bixby on third party devices, like my lovely mi mix 2s.
Downloading several bixby apps from different apk-stores worked, but getting them installing and getting them work, didn't at all.
Please can anybody tell me, how to make bixby work with my mi mix 2s?
I don't care for the rom I'd have to install, but I want bixby together with my mi mix 2s.
Any suggestions from you would be appreciated.
Ask your friends or modding freaks and enthusiasts that are familiar with working this idea out and let me know about it.
I'd really like to use bixby but buying a samsung feels like a downgrade to me, while I switch from xiaomi. So using samsung is no choice for me.
Best regards, mobshredder
