Newer tot file? - AT&T LG G4

Trying to fix a friend's LG G4 that is bootlooping. I can successfully get into download mode so I'm hopeful. I went here http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-g4/general/att-h810-to-stock-guide-tot-method-t3248532 and got everything set up, I plug in the phone and open the tool and try to flash using the dll and tot file 10o provided in the thread. It loads on the computer, I know it's communicating because it shows the IMEI number in LG flash tool, gets to 6% and fails.
10o is a little old, I'm pretty sure the phone was on a newer software version, which is likely why it is failing. Anyone have 22b (or the latest if there is a newer one) tot file available to flash? Or if it's not available, any ideas on what i can do at this point?
Thanks!

havent tried it yet. anyone have the guts?

Missing DLL file for AT&T V10 (H90020j)

Hello, sorry if this has already been covered, I've been searching for 2 days straight now (I'm new). So, my V10 froze a couple of days ago and restarted, then it got stuck on the LG screen. It made it to the AT&T logo twice, but then went back to the LG screen. Will not boot into Android.
I have been trying to flash my phone but keep running into issues. There seem to be two (2) programs called LGFlashTool, one of which requires a .kdz file (does not seem to exist for the H900). The other requires a .tot (found it!) and a .dll. I would really like to find this .dll file so I can flash my phone and hopefully get it working again. I'm not even trying to root it, just want to boot it up again without exchanging my phone and loosing all of my photos and videos.
There is also the LGUP program, and multiple articles about how to use it. I installed the LGUP_8994 DLL and the Store_Frame_Ver_1_14_3 version of the program. I then copied the common folder into the appropriate location. When I plug my phone in on download mode and open LGUP, it says "DLL for H90020j is not installed properly. Please install a DLL package (*.msi) for the model".
Can someone please help me find this .dll file or tell me what I am doing wrong here? All of the guides make this sound like my grandma could pull this off.

I am sorry, but proceed no further. You would be at risk for bricking your phone. There is currently no firmware available for H90020j. There is however firmware for H90010f, but you are already on Marshmallow. You will just have to be patient while we try to find a way to root the device.
There is a sticky in the lg v10 General thread for doing a .tot update. You don't need the .dll file to do the .20j update. All you need to do is download lg drivers, change the lg modem mode to com41 , follow the instructions I think there is a video also. The lgup app will take the .tot file and then it'll be flashing in refurbished mode. This will clean wipe your system to stock 6.0 marshmallow
dear all, i have been trying by myself going thru xda to solve the above issue (missing the h900 model dll). history is i messed the build.prop and the v10 att h900 goes into (bootloop?) LG logo and never got up and i tried to hard reset (showed the yes yes screen) and after that been looking at LG logo for many hours now
tried dl-ed LGUP but ended with unknown (shows usb port 41) and searched for a solution (including the common patch): restart after reinstall (dll first then switch), use run as admin in xp and vista compatible mode... without success and looking into LG Flash Tools route -
LG flash tool method i dl-ed 'rootedH900 TOT' and 'rootedsystemh900' file from some private file server (with xp background?) but again, struck at the v10 model dll file to start...
last attempt dl-ed LG Mobile Tools and happy to know that download mode is working still (picked up by LG Mobile Tools on phone model and updates of recovery file) so i dl-ed the 1.89gb file but failed to connect to the phone to begin updates...
dear all senior, i just bought this 2nd hand from somebody happily and ended semi-bricked by my greed to streamline the performance... i seek all senior's kind understanding and help guide me to recover my v10 - many thanks in advance
i had skyped Tungkickk777 and waiting for his add approval... while waiting, please guide me. many thanks again! - v10 newbie

Need stock TOT files !

I just got a Flex 2 for cheap. Model H955
First thing I did was update from 5.0.1 to 6.0.1, with LGUP, using a KDZ.
It went well, phone seemed OK. Then I noticed I had some leftover contact from the previous user. I decided to re-flash the same KDZ, using this time the refurbish option, since it seemed to be the cleanest method.
Bad idea. It seems the flash stop at 27% on LGUP, and 18% showing on the phone screen. It goes pretty smoothly up to that point, then nothing seems to happen anymore. As if it was still updating normally, and this step is just a bit long. Except after 45min, nothing had moved.
I stoped (just by exiting LGUP) and restarted. Once again, no problem. Phone detected, no error. But nothing happens after 27%. LGUP is still running, still showing the time elapsed increasing.
I decided to try another KDZ, and that's when I realised you're supposed to use TOT file to refurbish, and not a KDZ ! Except that if you select a KDZ file on update mode, then switch to refurbish, the process start without any warning.
So, now I'd need a TOT file. French or european. And I can't seem to find any ...
Edit : as I keep googling this, I realise that there might not be any TOT file for h955, and I might have bricked my phone.
****.
Please someone tell me there's something to be done ... I didn't even root or did anything special, I just wanted to restore the stock system. What kind of software let starts the process without any warning when the wrong type of file is selected. That's just stupid !
Edit : It seems h955 TOT files just don't exist. My best bet might be to flash h950 tot files, then update with h955 KDZ and hope for the best, though logically it should not work. But since right now I can't even turn the phone off ...
Actually you can get a tot file from kdz. Just download this tool from here then extract the kdz file with it, You will get DLL file and a DZ file, Rename the extention DZ to tot, That's it. Happy flashing...

Thanks a lot !!
As I kept looking into my half-bricked phone, I wondered if this was really the solution. Reading every messages in threads from this forum, I realised that refurbishing with a KDZ should have worked after all !
It might be that my problem is with driver installation after all. My phone is already stuck in DL mode. And when I plug it in after installing the drivers (no matter wich one), it cannot finish the installation for the phone. Error 10 : device could not be started.
I'm wondering if it's necessary to install the driver with a functionning phone before flashing ...
Nonetheless, this post that I had not found might be incredibly heplfull ! I will try it.
If anyone else is willing ot help me, for memory the situation is as follow.
H955 phone, only boot in download mode.
Refurbish using LGUP stops while flashing "system". Exact percentage vary depending on the KDZ I use, but it's always while doing system. There is no error, but the phone screen stops moving, and nothing more happens.
Flash tool 2014 crash while trying to get phone informations.
Drivers for COM port and USB device can be installed fine, but the phone in itself cannot finish the installation due to "code 10, device did not start"
I'm not sure what to do now, so any help is welcome !
And nope, doesn't work :/
"Unsupported KDZ file format"
Aaaand phone is now OK.
In the end, after trying 3 different drivers and flahing tools, what worked was ... the official one.
Went to LG website, downloaded official driver lg support tool. Told LG support tool to repair. It downloaded it's own image, and flashed it alright.
Now running on clean 6.0.1 install, can stop messing with the phone and actually use it.

LGUP and LGFlash unaware to detect Stylo

For some reason neither of the softwares listed can see my Stylo. I messed up the permissions on the build.prop and I am unable to get into recovery. When I try to use LGUP or flash from download mode it doesn't work. Any advice would be appreciated
I had to use an add-on for LGUP to make it work. UpperCut was the add-on I used. I was able to go from 7.1.1 back to 6.0.1
did uppercut work for you? it didnt for me... ive tried everything and still nothing...

lgup won't recognize my phone model

I rooted and the changed my T mobile LG H631 rom several times. I even used LGUP once to go back to stock. But then i was away from home, and pc, while flashing Lineage and got a bootloop, but i had previously downloaded a flashable Metro 6.0 android zip. So i flashed it and got out from loop boot. After a couple of days i found out i couldnt record any video, i can take photos tho, but no video. It says "an error has occourred" . I thought flashing through LGUP could solve this right away but guess what? it doesnt work! ive installed, unistalled, re installed every LG driver ive found, LGUP and LGUP DLL for H631, and Flashable tool 2014, and none of this has worked. I come here to humbly ask for a solution. How can i get LGUP to recognize my Phone, or Flashable Tool 2014 to properly work!? or maybe a flashable zip will return my camera to normal idk. Please Help...
Have you downloaded Uppercut?

I used LG Bridge on my OG Stylo to revert back to stock once. LGUP is outdated, AFAIK.

LG G8 ThinQ OPEN_US Firmware

After unsuccessfully attempting to root my device, I was left with an unbootable phone.
I have tried everything to get my phone back working, with no success and I am losing hope.
I've used both LGUP (with 4 different firmwares, all NAO_US) and LG Bridge, all reporting success at the end, however my phone still does not get past the initial boot screen.
If I reboot it, it will show "Erasing.." and reboot right back to the LG boot screen, and proceed no further than that.
The only thing I can think of is because my phone is OPEN_US, and won't boot using NAO_US.
NAO_US is the only KDZ file that will work with my phone, every other KDZ I've tried just throws an error like "error (OPEN_US->AMZ_US).
I have turned Google inside out, as well as almost every LG firmware website, and have downloaded at least 40GB worth of KDZ files, but I cannot find
OPEN_US KDZ anywhere. I'm not sure if flashing OPEN_US will even work (though, why wouldn't it?), so I may be searching for something that is useless to me.
My LG G8 is Factory Unlocked, purchased from Best Buy - and it seems like nobody else on the planet has this variant. If someone has an OPEN_US KDZ file, I would be extremely
greatful if you could please link it to me. Otherwise, my LG G8 is now a glorified paperweight.
UPDATE:
Fixed!
I was able to locate an OPEN_US KDZ and flash my phone with it. Turned out I had overwritten the wrong partition in QIFL when trying to unlock the bootloader. I had to extract the firmware and manually reflash this file, but afterwards, my phone was successfully booting.
