Is there a way for escape the mobile gogle chrome browser downloader?
A few years i am searching, but nothimg.
I don't like com.android.providers.downloads, i never liked this, and today, i have 85% of this trash app, purged, (i used only for test if some app depends of this)
Thanks, or instead, i WILL NEVER use gogle things anymore.

I have adm pro, and adm pay, none works, tdm pro too, i tried yandex browser, that is chrome with another named, but i don't like the downloader.

@gazzacbr i forgot, i have xposed download redirection module, and xposed download2sd too, none seems to react to this event.

Hi, not sure what you mean. When i click on any file link i get a choice of ADM or gello mod. I click ADM and 'just once' (sometimes I change my mind) and ADM pops up. Clear the browser defaults?

UC Browser and Dolphin Browser have their own download managers.
You could also try Download Accelerator Plus.

I use "Just Browser". It has decent built-in download manager.
For download accelerator, I heard good things about "Loader Droid download manager" combined with "LD Ultimate Link Interceptor".
Thanks, but, i have multiple browser here, all good, i was interested in a chrome variant named Yandex Browser, just because this browser install addons from firefox,chromestore,and opera addons sites all together, in one on mobile browser, but the downloader crashed my interest i am not interested in third browser or third downloader, i was interested how to brake the download intent on chrome (s) , without extensions on androed.

here's an app which does a simple job: Automatically click on the "Skip ad" button in the YouTube™ app when it appears. No root required, no proxy or VPN needs to be setup. You just need to enable an accessibility service which is required to detect the ads and click on the "Skip ad" button.

Yes it works. But for it to work the "S kip Ad" button that appears on the video must be visible. That has two problems :
1) If the video is minimized (i.e. Running in small window at the bottom), skip ad button does not appear and hence this app does not work
2) If you are watching video on chromecast, and your mobile's screen is off, skip ad button does not appear and thus this app does not work..
I needed an app that could skip ad when watching video on Chromecast as it is very frustrating to pick your mobile everytime to skip ad.

Actually when using youtube on chromecast, ads are served from server side directly to the chromecast and not to the YouTube app. That's why that module won't work. That module disable ads on YouTube app only. It can't stop ads sent to chromecast device directly from google server.

It's a shame this doesn't work with OGYoutube. Either that or it doesn't work with the latest youtube.

This is correct, I've been waiting for some way to do it on the phone but I don't think that's possible. You have to block ads at the router in order to get an ad-free Chromecast.

Is there a way to get back the Smart Controller app? I think I uninstalled it by mistake. I'm trying to avoid factory reset.
I couldn't find the apk (from honor 8), try a similar app from the play store.

Apk is in \system\delapp\HwRemoteController but I don't know where the app saves the data of the remotes.
I mean, when I add a new remote control and I set it up to my taste, I don't know where that configuration is saved, so I could export it to another smartphone.

I'd bet that most - maybe all - Samsung applications depend on the TouchWiz interface being present. You could poke around XDA and/or Google to confirm, but my guess is that the email application you're referencing falls into this category.
It's not TouchWiz - My Note 3s have TW and the easy version removed - I always run Nova (even on the Pixel 2), but the email app wouldn't run on the Pixel. A lot of Samsung apps only run on their phones. (Which is too bad - I've been searching for an email app like the Samsung app since long before I got the Pixel. I'm using K9, but it's not the Samsung app.)
Hmm. I could be wrong - and often am - but installing an alternate launcher like Nova (my favorite) doesn't remove TouchWiz. So even though one might be using another launcher, the TouchWiz (and all its files) were still present on the phone. In fact, they were probably still running because many (most? all?) of Samsung's apps depend on those files.
Do you know what the APK is called? Could you go on a friend's Samsung phone and pull up much information about the app as possible? That would help determine if/how what you want could be accomplished.
