[Q] Custom Rom for spice mi 506

As you can see in the title i am waiting for an update from spice for kitkat.
Don't tell me it doesn't support kitkat as in it's specifications i saw.
I have rooted it and now finding a custom rom for it so that i can update it.
Is there any custom rom for spice mi 506?
Can i install google camera in it?
Any answer will be largely awarded

• Works on phones and tablets running Android 4.4+ KitKat
not sure about reasons in case it conflict with new custom roms. but mostly apk's work fine with Stable versions of custom roms.

Yes, but it should be better to use 32bit because that system is 32bit too. So u should flash twrp 2.8.7.0 via flashify or from sp flash tool

Yes but u need to flash some 64bit ROM from PC like firmware upgrade to modify system partitions. For example aosp , after that u will have 64bit twrp in ur phone (twrp is in ROM zip)

Install thru sp flash tools not thru TWRP recovery

yes via SP Flash tool u flash for example AOSP 64bit ROM (thtas include TWRP 2.8.7.7 64bit) after that u reboot phone and wait to complete boot up, after that u can flash via TWRP any other Lollipop 64bit rom (dont forget to 64bit gapps) or u can flash newest 3.0.2 TWRP (64bit of course) its inclode some features - multilanguage and instal system.img so if u "upgrade" TWRP to 3.0.2 u "never" need pc for flash any rom , that 302 twrp is on my GDrive. like many others roms kernels ... etc

EDIT: only russian,english language,soo a no for me,will try the cm12.1 rom. Is there any rom that has Slovenian Language included,or is there a way to download it?

Hop aosp is better than stock like every custom ROM on this phone , only stock kk is good.
U need aosp only for flash via PC after that u can flash any ROM what u want. Yeah a few ROM is only end RU and Chinese, but for example vibe ROMs almost all is multi ,

I think it's 2 ways, first is talk to vgdn1942 (author of this ROM) or second ,translate it by some sw tool/program for PC . but I think first way is too much better he add for us Cz and SK language

o my Google Drive is "Multilang.CM26.02.2016.zip" in ROM / CM12.1 / (that zip) , its multilanguage pack, but Im not sure if slovenian languge is there, but u can test it (im running on diferent - noncompatible ROM).

U can flash kernel using twrp..latest kernel if u on AOSP is v13 i think

I just tried to flash the kernel at the link ( V13 -> Boot_P70_v13.zip ) and it failed. Gave some errors like couldnt find something so it cancelled.
Then i opened the zip file. There is a file named "boot_aosp.img"
i flashed it using Flashify and now i can not open my phone i guess i bricked it.
Now im going to recovery my phone with your rom. this gave me a chance to try it
but i am still afraid about how to install a kernel ? this way above didnt work for me. is there anyone installed kernel succesfully and how did you do it?

btw can you tell me which version you re using ?
there are miui v7.1.3
miui v7.1.4.0
miui v7.2.1.0

U can flash kernels via flashtool twrp or by flashify . but its going about what kernel and what rom is it . if that kernel is only *.img u can instal it by apk or twrp only, if in zip u should check , scatter file in zip if it with scatter u can flash i via flashtool only if not u should flash it via twrp or extract it and flash by some app like flashify but it can run bad - without taht other files in zip. But most importent of all is what version of android and rom it is support , some support only aosp vdt and cm , or only miui . if i want to use some of vdgn1942 kernels on diferent rom than cm aosp aicp and vdt u must extract aosp.img kernel and past it to v6 version instent of kernel it that zip , because v6 is last version without checking rom .

Hey Guys The rom links r updated and the thread is ready u can read the thread and install the rom and do share a snapshot if u install the rom it would really encourage me and sorry for delay i was off XDA the rom is my Personal fav. and great Custom as seen from Daily use point of view.

I have tried downloading this rom but as it crosses 360 mb it stops n after sometimes it says failed to download.I thought it would be ISP pb but downloaded thrice from android and twice from pc but same issue after 360 it stops...Im able to download other stuff perfectly bt metamod stop at certain point..can you check if zip is uploaded properly or provide any other link...is it a kitkat 4.4 rom or jst themed stock rom..?

Ok wait i would update mirrors . And its themed stock as kitkat create battery conflicts

CM 11 and CM 13 for core both are having massive drain treid every possible way bt unable to fix battery issue..n after cm 11 n 13 finally back to cosmic rom..n now eager to try metamod..

Bro New google Mirror is ready u can download the rom and fix ur core's battery issues and performance issues but still u will miss the Upgraded androids but daily driving phone is priority first So try the rom and Review it plz ....

Bro I don't have a backup of my stock ROM.and now am using cm 11 on my i8262. Can I flash this rom on cm11. I have twrp 3.0.2 installed.

Yes sure first perform factory reset and then format system partition then flash the ROM

I dont have my stock rom and my i8262 does not connects to pc. And I wanba install stock rom.so can anyone plz provide nandroid backup for me so I can restrore it from twrp.

No u have to install infinity kernel for swapping metemod uses stock kernel. And thanks for comment hope u r liking metemod

I port this rom for gionee f103 with 2gb ram (not pro)
Every thing is working fine...soo awesome rom
Only 3bugs
1. Gapps provided in the link doesnt help to use google apps.Alwayas says Tgere was problem communicating with google server.
2. Gesture Wakeup in yhe seetings is not working
3. Notification Bar sometimes become white and not visible.
Plzzzz help me to fox this issues by porting and how can I use gapps in this flyme rom

I don't know why but, even same "KERNEL" same "CHIP" 3.18.19 AND MT6735, the rom in not working
i tried fly me os and and other some rom of 3GB in my gionee f103 2GB
after reboot my phone stuck at opening logo and automatic restating.
so after this i install stock rom again as same as before

When charging phone auto switched off in this rom and when pluging charging out then too
