Dear friends i present you EMUmIZERO SUPERLEGGERA Rom for Umi Zero.
Based on EMUmIZERO COMPLETA (Full) it is designed to be light fast and stable then battery friendly...
To obtain this goal i've removed the greatest possible number of applications without compromising the operation of the basic functions..
I also replaced some applications with other more lightweight and efficient than stock ones
INSTALLATION (FOLLOW ALL THE STEPS TO AVOID ERRORS) :
1:DOWNLOAD Rashr - Flash Tool from Google Market (to flash Recovery)
2:DOWNLOAD ROM
3:DOWNLOAD RECOVERY(NEW VERSION WITH FIXED PARTITIONS LAYOUT)
4: Now select the downloaded recovery with a file explorer (Rashr - Flash Tool will ask you to flash it as recovery & reboot in recovery mode)and flash it
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5: Once you are in recovery mode make a full backup of your actual rom.

6: Now ( note:due to the fact some people had problem during this step in TWRP-Settings select "Use rm -rf instead of formatting.")select: Wipe-Advanced Wipe and tick: Dalvik Cache,System,Cache,Data.
7: (without exit from recovery)Select Install and choose the rom zip (on upper part of the recovery screen you can select Internal Storage or SD Card).....
....reboot....
....OK!....now you are on EMUmIZERO SUPERLEGGERA EDITION
IMPORTANT:
ALWAYS CHECK SERVICE PACKS THREAD and flash the latest one(if present)!
Before asking ALWAYS check TIPS SECTION,probably you will find (probably)a solution.

Just bought it yesterday it's awesome launcher.
For installing superlaggera it's mandatory to perform a factory reset? I got lots of apps right now...

factory reset is Always the best choice...but if all this apps are not a "system" apps(ex.installed from market)you can restore them with titanium or default backup app without problem...

I really like the sound of this ROM.
How many of the EMUI system apps remain? Are the EMUI versions of Dialler, SMS, Calander etc... all present?

Yes it is ,only replaced gallery (with QuickPic),Launcher(Smart Launcher2),File Explorer(Cm File Explorer),System Manager(Lenovo)...

I'll give it a go tonight.

I've been playing with this for the last hour or so and mostly like it. It's my first time using EMUI and I love the general look and feel of it.
Some widgets don't appear to work though, most notably the Gmail one. It doesn't appear at all in the widget options (using Google Now Launcher).
In does exactly what it says on the tin though, it's light and fast.

The rom of Umi have a functionality in Power Saving mode, makes screen goes to gray scale. You can do this in EMUmIZERO?

[7.0-7.1] How to achieve Pixel Features and Look on any Rooted Android Device

Hi! Guys Today I will share a guide on How to achieve Pixel features and look on almost any android device running android Nougat.
What you need?:- A rooted Nougat device, Root file manager(I recommened ES), Brain
Lets start:-
Go into root of your device using your fav. file manager and search for build.prop. Usually it lies in system folder but if not found search it. Open it with any text editor and add this two lines at it's end.
ro.product.model=Pixel XL
ro.opa.eligible_device=true
Now reboot your device.
After your device turns on Clear Google App data.(Clear whole data and not cache only).
Now long press on your device to launch Google assistant:laugh::laugh: .
Now another step.
Open playstore and install pixel launcher and wallpapers by google.
Now you need Link2SD.(Install if not already Installed)
Now open Link2SD find & convert Pixel launcher and wallpapers into system apps and reboot again. (This step enables Google Now on swipe).
Now Download the boot animation app by Jrummy from playstore and install the boot animation zip i provided or manually push it into your system where your boot animation is stored.(Normally it's stored in system>media)
Copy audio files and replace it with your default files in system>media>audio.
Now if you want more follow:- (Not recommened for CM users but i hadn't encountered any problem on my CM though )
Download substratum from Playstore and Pixel Ui which is similar theme for this app and apply it via the substratum. Reboot
Cm users can skip many steps and use any pixel theme and icon pack from Playstore and apply it via Themes app natively installed.:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
It's Done. Now enjoy all features and look of Pixel on your device.
While i encountered that google assistant doesn't recognize your voice I can't do anything for it now. I will keep looking to make it work but it will take time.Sorry.

Tips:- Signup for google beta tester on playstore and update your google app to latest beta version for seamless google assistant work.
You may add those two build.prop at the end and don't change your default model number. It will still work.
Boot animation have a huge chances to work normally as the just conatin minimal animations and cover center of screen. So try it out and tell me.

It worked when I downloaded the latest google app from apkmirror. For some reason, the latest version of apps are not showing up in the play store. Its a bug in cm14.1

[MOD] Debloater for LineageOS & LineageOS Based ROMs

Debloater Zip​
This is my first MOD.
I just made a zip for my own use and I'm sharing it here.
I personally don't like the system apps which come with LineageOS and LineageOS based ROMs. We all flash GApps and then end up having double apps like Calendar (Google Calendar and Stock LineageOS Calendar). This consumes more space in your "/system" partition.
I tend to remove these apps and use the ones provided by Google instead in "/data" partition. This saves space in "/system" and also doesn't allow to have double apps.
Hence I made a Debloater zip, I know there are various zips out there which can help you debloat your ROM, but they also come with installing something or other.
This zip is a pure Debloater zip. It will just remove the apps which are not used by many in general.

I added it in V 1.3, flash it, test it. If you get any kind of Force Close errors then just dirty flash your full rom zip file, and flash any of the previous version of Debloater which suits your need, and report back.

Edit: The config file is nice, but that's too much work to do, If anyone personally wants it, it can be done. I've made that same process easy by making this zip.

After flashing the v1.1 the phone is stuck at Android is starting. I could access the settings via the notification dropdown but the home screen just shows android is starting. Help please.

I would recommend you to do a clean install once again.
Also I have not been using OP2 since a while now hence I am unaware about the recent developments in the ROMs, so it might have been because of some changes from the ROM side too.

try this:
1. clear data of all google and microg related apps (incl. the three backends)
2. in microg settings enable google device registration and setup the nlp backends
3. start playstore and log in to your google account (now the RH-01 error shows up, right?)
4. reboot
play store and all other google account related things should work now..

Bugs:
The Gboard setting causes the application to close.
SMS and MMS settings will cause the application to close.
Even though I'm connected to WiFi, mobile data will be reloaded.
SMS And MMS background black? WTF..
Gallery, when i want edit aby photo, apk will to close..

this is due to some wrongly themed elements in the substratum overlays for these apps. will fix it in the next update

i also installed it coming from the 250917-version.
but i could not reproduce the bugs on my phone. really weird..
perhaps something country related or microg related..
can you upload your logcat? are you familiar with that?

Somehow, mysteriously, I tried to reinstall the entire TWRP and it works !!! But Ikariam always stopped.

But I still solve the low volume of calls. Even though I have a full volume. How do you solve this problem?

I dont really have this Problem.. Sound is not the best, but way good enough to understand the caller..
I just noticed a little HD icon while I am in a call on the left side of the screen. Do you see it, too?

but there is a magisk module which fixes (or tries to fix) the low incall volume.
in the download section of magisk manager search for "Android Mic Fix".
it is actually targeting qualcomm hardware, but it might work for mtk too, so give it a try..
regarding your ikariam problem: enable google cloud messaging (gcm) in microg settings, then clear data of ikariam and restart the app.. should work now..

You have to install magisk again from magisk manager to use modules
Magisk consists of two parts:
1. Patched boot image
2. Some files in data Partition
Unfortunately I am not able to create a proper userdata image at the moment (I'm working on it)
Therefore the magisk files in data Partition are missing, when you flash the ROM.
Follow these steps:
1. Open magisk manager
2. Go to magisk settings
3. Choose update channel "beta"
4. Go back to magisk main screen
5. Click "install" -> "install" -> "direct install (recommended)"
6. Let installation finish
7. Reboot
Now you are able to use magisk modules.
You have to repeat these steps after every data wipe or factory reset to use modules.
BTW: have you activated Besloudness in sound settings?
And have you tried ikariam again? Is it working now?

It is way better than on stock rom. There are a few build.prop tweaks which aim at battery life.
But the main factor is the microg replacement. I would guess, it saves at least 1/3 of battery life..
just give it a try!
btw: today I will post an update with some small, but important changes. so look out!

[Root] EMUI 9 QuickStep Recents Screen mod (Lawnchair v2/OnePlus Launcher)

Hi everyone,
After installing EMUI 9 (.241) on my P20 Pro & switching to Lawnchair V2, I was happy with pretty much everything except EMUI's default app switcher (Recents Screen). It's bug ridden & lags way too much for usability. That was when I decided to try QuickSwitch Magisk module from @Skittles9823 & @paphonb . Unfortunately, it didn't work for EMUI 9 & I decided to dig further into it.
Background Info:
In Android Pie, "recents screen" feature is handled by the launcher & is no more part of the OS itself. Android OS triggers recents screen by starting an intent "android.intent.action.QUICKSTEP_SERVICE" which is bound to the default launcher. What this means is that only the application specified in the intent can receive it. Now, in case of most OEM roms, this value is defined inside an XML resource in "/system/framework/framework-res.apk" (the file name can be different for different roms) file. QuickSwitch Magisk module apparently replaces this value using "Runtime Resource Overlay" technique to setup any launcher of your choice as the default handler for recents screen or QUICKSTEP as it's called.
Huawei, you bad boy
In EMUI 9, instead of defining this value inside some xml resource, Huawei decided to create a jar file instead named "hwServices.jar" & hardcoded EMUI launcher's package name in a "String" variable to be used for triggering the QUICKSTEP intent. This effectively kills the approach taken by QuickSwitch magisk module & us Huawei device owners are left with no other option but EMUI 9's bad implementation.
The way around
There are couple of options in this case:
Patch "hwServices.jar" file to point so some 3rd party launcher
Remove default EMUI launcher, create an application with the same package name to relay QUICKSTEP intent between system & third party launchers
Remove default EMUI launcher & replace it with a third party launcher that's modified to have EMUI's default launcher's package name
After spending the entire weekend trying Option 2 with limited success, I decided to go for Option 3 as modifying "hwServices.jar" itself seemed like too much meddling with the system's functioning. And so I removed default EMUI launcher from my system, took the latest Lawnchair v2's alpha build, patched it to have EMUI's default launcher's package name & installed it instead with system permissions. This works like a charm!
Instructions
You need a rooted device with Magisk installed
Install (QuickSwitch Magisk module v1.1.2)
Delete "/system/app/HwLauncher6" folder's contents using some file-manager like ES explorer with root permissions ( Create a backup if you want, it can be restored by copying the files back in the same folder if needed)
Reboot phone
Install patched Lawnchair V2's apk attached to this post on your phone.
Using QuickSwitch app installed on your phone, select Lawnchair V2 as the default home app & QuickStep provider. (We are using QuickSwitch only to give our patched Lawnchair v2 app system privileges. If you have any other way of doing this, feel free to do so & you can ignore installing QuickSwitch & it's steps above entirely)
Reboot & everything should be setup correctly.
Note
The patched version of Lawnchair v2 attached here is based on the latest alpha build at the time of this post& although everything seems to be working just great, there might be few bugs here & there. I'll update the attachment as & when more stable versions are released.

Update 1
The patched version of Lawnchair attached isn't entirely perfect, I'll wait for it's source code to be released to refactor everything properly. Until then, you can use this to replace your existing recents screen & even use a different launcher along with it, as long as attached Lawnchair V2 is a system app.
Update 2
Have also added OnePlus's Launcher ported by Paphonb with patch for EMUI 9. You can use this one instead of Lawnchair V2 too, if you like. Kindly note that these might be unstable due to my patches.

Have updated the attached Lawnchair v2 apk with patch v1.1 (Fixes crashes)

With this method definitely not. Maybe in the future huawei will do a better implementation for this, but not today.

You were the lucky one to try this on April Fool's day unfortunately where they changed font as prank. Should be back to system font by 2nd or you can go change it in the 3 dot menu in settings.

Easiest way: In Android Manifest file, replace package name to "com.huawei.android.launcher". This works so far for Lawnchair V2 & ported OP Launcher.
Proper way: Download source, refactor code with new package name & compile. This is tedious and am not sure how reliably can be automated.

Should work with any Launcher that provides QuickStep functionality as long as it works without crashing before it's package is renamed.

There is no tool that'll do it automatically for you. I use apktool to dismantle the apk, change values & repackage it. You'll also have to sign the package using "jarsigner" which comes along with JDK.
