Has anyone found any screen protectors that fit properly? I've bought and tried two different ones (a tempered glass and a non-tempered glass) and neither of them stick to the sides of the screen. The left and right sides of the screen don't seem to allow the screen protectors to stick properly.

i bought that exact one. it's also too narrow on the sides and not full coverage like they advertise.
New user, so can't post a link, but search Amazon (they're prime too so you'll get them ASAP) for:
Le Pro 3 Screen protector, MicroP(TM) Full Screen 9H Hardness Ultra-thin Tempered Glass Front LCD Screen Protector for LeTV LeEco Le Pro 3 (Gold full coverage)
Just received and applied it to two Gold Le Pro 3's and they fit PERFECTLY edge to edge. They don't bulge or float off of the slightly curved edges and they look completely stock over the entire screen and top/bottom. Not entirely sure about the scratch protection or shock absorption quality yet but I'll check back in and update everyone in a while after these protectors get some use.
UPDATE: Sadly, after a few days use, I can confirm that the above protectors had the edge issues mentioned in another post. These problems are exacerbated by the case fitting so tightly that it actually "pushes" the screen protector and causes the (small amount) of sticky stuff on the sides of the screen protector to lose their grip. This allows a slight bubble of air on the sides of the phone which totally messes up touch. Back to Amazon and I'll just deal with a non-full coverage protector.
UPDATE #2: I attempted to install a 3rd party case on my wife's Pro 3 which had the "full size" protector and it ended up cracking the damn glass because the case forced a corner of the protector up at an angle. Anyone else who considers using these, please be aware of the issue (not sure why anyone would want to use them anyway due to the screen edge issues).

I just bought some Terrapin screen protectors off Amazon and they are terrible. Already scratched up just from wiping it down once. Does anyone have any recommendations on some screen protection? I would rather use the dry/cling style and not the wet type. I have the MyBat screen protector for my SGSII and love it, but it appears they only make protection for the 10.1.
Thanks for the advice!!
Bought two @folix screen protectors from Amazon few weeks back. They are very easy to install, exactly the size of the screen (with a hole in the camera lens area). I feel it reduces the fingerprint smudges but think it's also just a bit more difficult to wipe the screen fully clear. I cannot see any difference on the image with or without this foil.
I am considering ZAGG invisibleSHIELD to protect my Galaxy Tab 8.9, but is it really necessary? The glass itself is reinforced and resistant to scratches.

I recently bought a glare free protective film kit from iluv
With two precision cut films...
take your time to place it, but i'm very happy with the result.
No more fingerprints on my screen and it's still working as it was without it....

After 3 Weeks i got my Note Edge Healing Shield from Hongkong company Healing Shield.
http://healingshield.shoplineapp.com/products/5478a9a6039055c2e2000001
it comes with 3 pc shields (adhesive folio), microfaser cleaning rag, scraper and a remover sticker...the adhesive bonding folio is a litte bit strange, but works great. The panel is fully secured now, and the size of screen protector is 100%.
Love it!
I have it also and I don't like it.
It has that orange peel effect and makes my screen feel so rubbery.
I had no choice as it was the only screen protector that I could find for the Note Edge while I was vacationing in Singapore this past Christmas/New Year.
It does protect the screen and also the edge. I'd say it protects 90% of the screen but doesn't cover the the three sensors next to the ear piece on top and the bottom part after the home button.
I'm still waiting for the first tempered glass screen protector to be released for the Note Edge.
But the case I got for it is amazing. It is the Tridea case.
http://www.amazon.com/Tridea-Anti-S...dea+case&pebp=1422104071464&peasin=B00PI5O2WY
They are good because they are the best out of the very very few available full screen protector.
However they have many downsides too. For example, they are quite soft so when used with the s pen, it leaves dents and marks on the protecto. It feels quite sticky too at the sasame time so doesn't feel very easy for the fingers to glide on. It also dims quite a bit of the screen brightness and colours. When I compared my note edge with my note 3, the note 3 screen appeared to be brighter and more colourful. I conclude that it is probably due to the healing shield protector. It just doesn't make sense that the new note edge screen is inferior to the note 3 one.
There are 2 types of film. The clear type and anti-glare type. The anti-glare type is much better for s-pen.
i put the armorsuit screen protector, dont see fingerprints.. but do see where my s-pen has been lol. its only visible in the light and held at an angle. Just waiting for a tempered glass screen protector to come out next month
what does it mean by self healing? and if it was, then why would you need 3 then lol
unless its another gimmick like the g flex.
Does your armorsuit covers the whole screen, including the edge? TIA.
I got the Skinomi protector and I absolutely love it. It was easy to put on and was the first protector I'd ever installed myself without a single bubble.
The big difference between the Skinomi and the others I've seen is that the speaker and camera notches are cut out just for them and do not extend up. (Look on Amazon to see what I'm talking about - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NAJ07QU/) For $10 - best purchase ever for a phone.
Apparently, Skinomi will be announcing / releasing their tempered glass protector. I'll probably be picking that up when it comes out.
Correction - It was iloome I was thinking of - not Skinomi.
I agree. I just put a Skinomi on mine, and it is fantastic. Now, as for long term, don't know...but certainly a keeper. Just be patient and let it dry. Amazing.
These are German made hybrid screen protectors made of anti-shock plastic substrate and tempered glass. Have used them on a few other devices and they are excellent. Slightly pricey as they are German made but definitely worth checking out. Just ordered mine today. They also include a protector for the back in the package.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/332032300020?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
As of now, I've ordered a few screen protectors, the full coverage ones found on ebay, which seems to affect touch functionality and the cheaper standard tempered glass protectors.
Waiting for the FX Glass protectors to arrive. Will update when I receive it.
Do let me know when anyone already has these.
I ordered a "full cover" one with the black border. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MQLV04B)
I does not look promising. Reviews say its only sticky around the edges, so sensitivity is an issue.
I can't understand why there are no standard style protectors available.
That hybrid one looks closest to them, and seems promising.
THINK this is just another ordinary "not full coverage" glass.

The hybrid as the name suggests is a hybrid between plastic and glass. This makes the film as flexible as a plastic film but the layer which you touch is glass, hence very high resistance to scratches. They claim 8H and I have bought their protector for another device earlier and I can say from experience that its great! And its German made! And apparently they have very positive reviews everywhere. I just happened to know about them recently, maybe because I used to buy those cheap 3-4dollar tempered glass films from China which would do the job and were usually as good as the more expensive ones for "flat" displays.
I still haven't received any of the screen protectors I've ordered for the mix. But from what users are saying on this forum, the full-coverage version with the black borders are pretty much unusable due to poor touch. And the regular tempered glass ones cover just the viewing area. But I guess this is already a very well known fact that its hard to find full coverage tempered glass protectors for 2.5D curved displays. Almost every screen protector which promise full coverage only has adhesives around those borders and the glass barely touches the display which causes a significant loss in touch functionality.
Even the Atfolix protector only covers the viewing area. But what makes them different from the cheap regular tempered glass is resistance to shock. Most regular tempered glass protectors crack during shock. But these being hybrids are more resistant to shocks.

As far as what I've read, it covers the bezel around the camera. But the protector is cut slightly smaller than the display glass meaning its not a full-coverage type protector. This is most likely done to ensure that the protector adheres properly to the 2.5D display glass.
So it does cover the bezel area but doesn't reach the rounded edges of the display. Hope this helps.
I have received a case and screen protector today and have uploaded pictures here. Have more cases coming in and will update as I receive them.
Hope you can also help by posting photos of the case and screen protector you are using in that thread. It will help other buyers.
Cheers!

Haven't received them yet. They shipped it via a slow shipping service called PostNL.
I can recommend this full coverage protector I got from ebay though.
No newton rings, no issues with touch and its a perfect fit.
Ebay Item: 172369729447
This is based on my own experience with the item. As long as you perfectly install the protector, you shouldn't have any issues at all.
I have already posted photos here with the protector applied. Check it out.
I wonder why isn't there a full screen glass cover for the mix. The screen is curve at the edges but manufacturers should be able to do this right?

There are full coverage protectors like the one I've recommended above. If you're referring to fully transparent full coverage protectors, I guess they dont make them because it shows those air gaps around the borders when applied to a 2.5D curved display like the one on the Mix. The ones with the black borders dont show this and are preferred by most users. Its better than seeing those ugly air gaps which arent uniform.
I did try that one you are referring to but I had to return it because of the rainbow effect and touch issues. ho well.

I guess there are a few variants of the screen protector coming from different factories. This is why I specifically mentioned the Ebay Item ID. I do not get any issues with this one. I ordered two of them. Had to dispose off one as I noticed some stubborn dust stuck under the first one.
Applied the second one now.
I can confirm that I don't see any newton rings (rainbow effects), no issues with touch functionality either. I didn't experience these issues with the first one either.
Ok. Good to hear, I would like to have an all clear instead of having black adages and bottom chin. If one exist.

Unfortunately a transparent full-coverage one doesn't exist due to the edge-less design. If you have used transparent tempered glass screen protectors on devices with 2.5D curved screens before, you may have noticed that the corners don't adhere to the screen causing a border of air to form around the protector.
This is the reason why full-coverage protectors have colored borders around the viewing area. It hides those ugly air gaps around the display.
There are transparent protectors available. The Atfolix Glass protector is a transparent one, higher quality than the regular Chinese tempered glass protectors. But it doesn't cover the whole display like all the other transparent protectors available for the Mix.
I understand that, but what I was saying is that they could make them without the black edges and leave it all crear.
Xiaomi's original tempered glass
I bought Xiaomi original tempered glass but now in the middle of my screen I have like an oily colored stain. Of course it's not oil but I think there is air between my screen and the tempered glass. Doesn't the tempered glass contain holes for the sound? I hope it's not my screen. But when I turn of my device I can see it too so I really think it's the tempered glass. Need a new one! Ordered one so we'll see.

Is it covering the active part of the display completely? If not you normally have a halo effect on the left and right side of the protector. With the Mix maybe on the top side too. If the product pictures are real it is not. But well, if it is i'll order one too. The fullscreen ones i've tested are crap.

I've tried the Raugee and the Imak protector. Both show the same effect. The problem is that these fullscreen protectors only stick on the edges. The air layer between the display glass and the protector causes this oily rainbow effect. Depending on the phones and the surroundings temperature it's more or less visible.

Can you post pictures of this one please. My order got cancelled due to some processing delay. If this is good, I'll place another order.
I see this one on Amazon from Mocolo and it looks like it does? But its shipped from China...
Most of the glass screen protectors leave about 1-2mm of space from the screen to the edge but it's due to the rounded edges on the screen. Another issue that has been ongoing is that the glass screen protectors are not sitting well and there is a "Halo" effect around the edges of the screen on the screen protector.
So far the Skinomi, Phantom Skins style screen protectors sit the best but some have had minor issues with cases.
I just ordered the Mocolo screen protectors yesterday and I'm hoping they don't give the Halo effect.

Sort of, the halo effect can be related to the screen protector not being cut short enough (or too long) where the screen bevel begins and the adhesive does not adhere to the outside edges of the screen protector.
And/Or
The adhesive does not adhere to the outside edges of the screen protector causing an unsightly "halo effect" where there is a unsightly discoloration/visual issue.
It is easy enough to see on the multiple threads and or can be Google searched for more pictures or a better idea of what it looks like.

will be interested in how that Mocolo works out
Check out "Brotect" protectors. They do tempered glass, "air glass" and normal plastic ones, all clipped short of the curve and therefore case friendly.
Used one if their protectors on a previous phone and seemed fine. I have the airglass one for the ph-1 here but not fitted it yet
Skinomi just released one. I have their full coverage one and it is fantastic.
Update: forget about the Mocolo TGSP, it's cut too short on the sides. So much so I didn't even bother putting it on. I'm sure there won't be a Halo but it leaves about .5mm on either side when I did a test fit.
I've now purchased the lightning knight, Orzero 3rd gen (I think, this is the one with full adhesive but rounded black border, and Mocolo TGSP. Fitment wise the lightning knight (LK) fits the best but has Halo. The Orzero is wider than the LK but from what I've seen in the reviews the Halo is horrible. I'd also assume that it would be bad as the Orzero goes to where the screen starts to round at the edge, also it might be an issue with cases.
You can see the Mocolo on Amazon and the fitment issues in the purchaser gallery.
I have the mocolo in clear (not black) and unfortunately halo effect is pretty bad, just like the rest. Quite ugly so ripped it off and currently going without anything.
I gave up.
I'm going to use the approach of others with a liquid UV adhesive and a screen protector with no glue.
I've bought a few from Xtreme guard and they fit perfectly with any case!! Plus you can get em dirt cheap by searching for promo codes. Got mine for .99 each!!!
Hey guys I'm planning to buy the Nilkin 3D CP+ screen protector for my OnePlus 6 and I am hoping those of you who are already using it will share your experience with me.
My first concern is regarding the black borders on the sides, how much screen area do they eat up? Also does the border on the notch, make it look thicker?
The official TG glass from OnePlus is really overpriced in my country, so I'm really hoping the Nilkin one can be the next best alternative. Tia.
The main problem for me of the nillkin was that the glass is very thin. It broke when I was trying to separate a little bit from the screen to adjust it better.
It fits properly and yes, it takes a little bit of the screen with the borders, but not as much as other screen protectors.
In my opinion, and it's based on my experience, the most balanced is the orzly. It's the most similar to the Oneplus official one of those that I've tried.
I've had this one but it broke on the sides. The edges float above the glass because the adhesive only covers the screen. Because the glass is thin these edges beak quite easily. I currently have the normal tempered glass H (not the h+) this glas doesn't cover the edges, but there are no black borders that cover any part of the display. I've had I'd on for about 3 months know and I'm really pleased with it. No bubble's no cracks and quite good oleophobic coating. Also because this one is thicker than the h+ pro it doesn't break as easily. I have it alligned perfectly, maybe it makes a difference.
I have one of these that I bought through amazon through a Nillkin page. the black boarder definitely covers a bit of the screen. a bit of the notch boarder covers the screen. If you move it up so that there's no black from the notch border you'll cut off quite a few pixels off the bottom making it very hard to use gesture based controls. I had a problem with air bubbles, the ones near the top corners went away naturally, the 2 at the bottom 2 corners refuse to go away even after adjusting them and applying pressure for over 5 minutes. It's not a problem with the case as there's a very slim edge separating the glass from the case (Tudia 2 part case). Depending on how much you're spending on it I wouldn't recommend it, I paid $16CAD and I have buyers remorse I can't recommend this protector to anyone. There's no damage/cracks/halo effects after 2 weeks of usages, so that's a plus. I've ordered the dbrand prism screen protector, I'm hoping it'll be the same size minus the black borders.
The best one is Omron tempered glass. They came in a set of two. Nillkin hides some of the screen. Omron doesn't.
Thank you all for your response I won't buy the Nilkin glass since it breaks so easily. It's a shame OnePlus 6 has such a huge incompatibility with budget 5D/6D tempered glasses. Spending 18 quid on the official doesn't make any sense cause it too will break after a fall which can happen anytime.

Nillkin CP+Max Tempered Glass Review
Consider this my review of the Nillkin CP+Max Oneplus 6 Tempered Glass
Bought from Nillkin's Aliexpress official store.
Overall I am satisfied(I knew pretty much all of the problems listed below when i bought it).
Keep in mind when viewing the photos I have installed the glass as much to the top as the case lets me(Practically the glass and the case touch at the top.Maybe if I had another case I wouldn't have even more of the notch cutting in, but that is another story)
Pros:
- Very nice quality glass with excellent touch feeling.Perfect oleophobic coating compared to 1-3$ tempered glasses. Worth the extra dollars for this reason only!
- Fits with rhinoshield crashguard case(you have to install the glass while wearing the crashguard case and not the one oneplus provides!)
- Edge to edge cover(as much as it can be, as the sides of the phone have a small curve)
Cons:
- The black borders around the edge are too thick on every side. This results to having about 0.5 to 1mm of screen pixels covered at all times, which is especially visible in the notch area, which cuts even more inside the screen. Also visible on the bootloader screen where text starts from the very left of the screen and half the first letter is hidden. While in normal app use you never see text that far to the side to make it a huge problem,it some times shows in 21:9 videos on youtube fullscreen. It seems this is a problem every tempered glass with black borders has. Not only Nillkin's!
- A portion around the edges, beneath the black border doesn't have adhesive. (I think this is because the phone's glass starts to curve there making it impossible for adhesive to stick,so they don't put adhesive right there)
Maybe Nillkin should make the borders thinner in the future and also have them in a lower layer of the glass,so it doesn't look like a window.
