can't find an answer on google.
Can not find the path to the backup file, if you're wiping the contents of Memory card may have deleted the backup. It is located in the folder Clockworkmod / backup to sd card.
I was copying files to and from my PC from my Verizon S3 running Beans 14. After pasting files to my extsdcard I rebooted the phone to TWRP to install some files. I did a backup first. Then when I went to install zips, I noticed all my files on both cards were gone, and all that was there was the backup I just made. I booted into the phone and the same thing, everything was gone, and now the phone keeps rebooting. All of my photos, videos, titanium backups and nandroids were on the micro sd card. Titanium Backup gets stuck at asking for root rights and then phone reboots, but the phone reboots if I just boot it and let it sit there. At least I have a 5 day old dropbox backup of my titanium backup files so not all is lost, but a lot of content was on the ext sd card that I wanted to keep, especially the nandaroids. Could I have deleted a virtual folder or something that could have caused this? Is there any file recovery solutions I can try to get files back?
Has any one formatted their SD unwillingly with there stock back on it, and was able to find the back up after recovering the SD , making it a zip file and flashing.... I can't find the file like it looked like when your about to flash back up with twrp or if u were able to find the file with root explorer, but I have a few file that say system on it and when opened it looks like a back file in zipped... Any advice or thoughts?
Help! I know I ran a titanium backup on my phone before resetting it to factory settings but now I can't find the file on my SD card. I swear I backed them up on the SD card but I guess there could be a chance they were only backed up on my phone. Is there a way to recover this file? I just need this one file and some of the data recovery programs that I've seen are $50 or so.
HI,
I made an update.zip file with TB for all my apps and data so i could just install it via recovery.
The file is located in root sdcard, and is just about over 4gb but when i flashed the update.zip i keep getting an error?
Can anyone help me with this, i installed titanium and rebooted into recovery and flashed again but still no luck
I can open the zip file on my pc and everything comes up but when i tried to open it in es file explorer nothing shows
Edit: i just read somewhere that TWRP can't flash over 2gbs is that true?
Well, we can't really help if we don't know the exact error message is.
