google youtube app

this question has probably been asked a bit before..and i might be in the wrong section to ask this..but does anymore know why when i instlal the google mobile app..and try and view youtube videos...i always get "cannot find required codecs" or something like that. i even uninstalled and installed the latest version..and it says the same thing..jsut different wording.
i do have flashvideobundle installed..could this be conflicting? anyone know why youtube vids would be saying that within the youtube mobile app?
i have att tilt.
any help would be great.

HTC rom update

when i updated the rom update on HTC today i encountered a change i was unfamiliar with... when i sent out a mms message i got a another message seperate from the message thread saying "conversation with [no sender]" did anyone else have this problem??
Also I tried adding a 8gb SDHC and it didn't read it, it still says "not installed" any suggestions? thanks!!

Not familiar with your MMS issue.
For the SDHC card, search the forum, I know there have been issues with certain brands not being recognized.
I remember seeing a thread about it but don't remember where it was.

thanks for the reply, I will check around also, is trying to view youtube videos has become a problem. I can't view them even though i have installed flash player 7. any suggestions?

Skyfire has youtube streaming, or official youtube app...
opera + flash lite isn't the best solution

i really appreciate the advice i will download skyfire tonight and see how that works out, thanks again for all the advice. I will touch back and let everyone know how it worked out.

Market Problems? Read this....

Before everyone sets there tablets on fire and goes postal on the ROM developers maybe take a look here. Seems lots of people are having Market problems and Google needs to fix it...

I figured it was a Google issue when my fiancé's Eris started having the same problem. Good to see someone posted this.

Errors
I have been getting errors lately when I open Market. Unable to connect to server error, I retry a couple times and it connects. I guess this is all part of the same problem Google is having?

I believe it is. Let's just hope they get things corrected soon (if they haven't already).

Hi, I was having the same error today and now I just have a broken market with couple of apps available. How does it look on your tablets? Thanks.

Is this the same as not being able to find applications? I'm missing a ton of apps I'm able to see on my Samsung Epic, moreover, I don't seem to be able to receive updates for applications. I'm running CyanogenMod 6.1 with the GoogleApps patch on their site as per the HowTo on the Cyanogen wiki.
Ideas?

Correct, I cannot find my apps, I was just looking for logmein ignition, and today morning it was there and now it's gone.

I saw an application called TVShows7 before, and couldn't see it any more. What happened?

I use TVShow lite ...from marketplace...
Its a nice app that its also free ..maybe you should try it..
IMO its the best TV app out there

I think these two are different. Tvshows7 is able watch TV shows over internet,not a TV show track.

I used this app, it was awesome but after some time it started returning results for files and programs instead of tv shows....I uninstalled it

Also trying to locate the xap, filestube and google turned up nothing but links to the thread here, but it seems to be locked. anyone know why?? curious if anyone has the xap still laying around they might be willing to upload here or rapidshare.

Lenco TAB711 & Google Play

Heya all,
I searched the web for a way to install Google Play Store on my girlfriends tablet, a Lenco TAB711.
There is not much info about this on the web and the topics I found on this forum also does not give a clear answer.

And I was wondering if someone did actualy tried it, does it work ?
Also, if it doesn't.... are there Custom Roms for this device ? like I said there is not much on the web about Lenco devices.

Tried several versions of Google Play Store now, version 3.7.15 is finally installing and I can open the store. But as soon as I start downloading something from the store is closes down. I need to delete the cache to get it working again, but still cannot download.
If someone plz can help me out, what am I doing wrong ? should I try the fix I posted yesterday ?
I'm afraid I will break something

No one who can explain what that fix does or knows where I can find another rom for this device ?

I just tried the update and it worked, all Google stuff like Play Store, Maps etc etc is working now :good:
So now if someone else is going to ask this question, you guys have actually some aswers.
To bad I had to find out myself, my friend said the peeps at XDA are very helpful and I had to reg here to ask my question. I'm a little sad no one did help or did answer my questions.

Play store works, and several popular apps like Google Maps and Skype install and run just fine.
