Hi,
According to Facebook,
A 360 photo allows you to see the photo from every angle including above, below, behind and next to you. When taking a 360 photo, the field of view will automatically be set to the middle of the photo.
You can create a 360 photo by using specific devices, apps, or software:
360-Enabled Camera
Take a 360 photo using one of the following:
Ricoh Theta S
Giroptic 360 Cam
Samsung Gear 360
LG 360 Cam
IC Realtech ALLie
360Fly
Panono
iPhone or iPad
Take a panorama using one of the following:
iPhone 4S or newer
iPad mini 2 or newer
iPad Air and iPad Air 2
iPad Pro
Samsung Galaxy
Take a panorama using one of the following in Surround Shot or Panorama mode:
Samsung Galaxy S5 or newer
Note 3 or newer
Photo Sphere Apps or Devices
Take a panorama using Street View, Google Camera, Cardboard Camera or Theta S.
Image-Stitching Software
Stitch images together using software like PTGui.
When you share these photos on Facebook, they'll automatically be converted into a 360 photo. I couldn't find a way or apk to take 360 degree photo using my oneplus one running CM13 Sultan ROM. Anyone have any idea how we can take 360 degree photo?
360 degree product photography Application
You can use Movense App for adding 360 Product Photography on android devices. Here you can capture motion panoramas. Instead of taking a still 360 degree panorama, you can now capture the motion of elements in the frame as well thru Moves.

Is there an android app that can do HDR imaging? I mean real HDR, so it takes multiple pictures with different exposure and blend them.
I know that Camera 360 have something named as HDR, but it only takes one picture and adjusts it.
UP!
why no one developers tried to make an app that takes 3 shots in sequence?
I informed Camera 360 this requirement and they say they are exploit an app on iPhone that adjust only one picture to realize hdr. I think real hdr needs at least 2 photos to blend or one photo in raw to adjust.
It seems no programmer is interested in HDR app.
...and i re-up!
me too

Wow, thanks. It seems I asked at the right time.
Here's the link for the app:

And I found out there is a paid app from Eyeapps.

And Fast Burst Camera:

I think this one is not prepared for HDR yet...
You can try pro hdr camera. It's not free though.

There is a version of this on play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vtcreator.android360
OP, is this even your app?
Thread closed.
I'm not sure if there are threads for the 360 mod camera already, but i haven't seen any here on moto z2 play. I just recently got this mod, and very impressed by it. Any way we can use it for other apps or probably used in any videochat app?
I own the mod and a z2 play, while I havent tested on video chat Apps, you can stream to FB (it will be 360 video), and some timer apps do capture with it, once connected it will be available as another camera input, but programs not designed for 360 video will get the flattened out image from the 2 sensors, depending on the app, the super duper extra wide video frame (composite from the 2 sensors) might crash it.
Hi,
I came from an old LG G3 but before that one I used to have the Nexus 4.
With Google Camera i was able to shoot photos and then watching them with the old Google (Stock) Gallery found in Nexus 4. That app allowed to watch such images rotating and tilting the phone and even creating small pianets.
Now on my Oneplus 6 I was trying the GCam port and I was shooting some photosphere but... In the stock Oneplus gallery I can't see them in other ways except on a single rectangular image. So I tried Google Photos (that I thougth it was the successor of Google Gallery) but even with Google Photos I cannot see photosphere in a good way.
How can i watch them rotating and tilting the phone, or creating planets from image etc like we used to do back in the years?
Thanks
Google photos allows you to do this if you click the compass in the lower left.
No it don't.. Maybe GCam mod don't "mark" the photo as photosphere?
You can view them with the original apk or maybe google photos
Hello guys
There is an option to upload photos on Facebook and to make them 3D, very cool and beautiful you can check them here https://facebook360.fb.com/360-photos/
But sadly, it's only for people with iPhones. The requirements are to have iPhone with 2 cameras. Basically, the picture needs to be shot with 2 cameras to have a depth effect to make it 3D. But why only for iPhones? Basically, every phone with two cameras should be able to do it. Is there any way to use this option on android?
Sorry not using FB
It is possible to create the 3D photo without an iPhone
Well it is possible to create the 3D photo without an iPhone. let’s start by looking at the special features of Portrait Mode. It doesn’t just take one photo. It takes your “normal” photo, but also takes another “special” photo. This ‘special’ photo is the depth map, which is created when we take photo from a phone with two cameras. This depth map shows which part of the photo is ‘closer’ to the camera, and which part is ‘further’ from the camera .This works just as our eyes work. When we know which object is near and which object is far, we can construct a 3D understanding of what we see on our brain. Facebook uses this depth data to construct a 3D Photo, relying on it to gain a 3D view of our photo and make a 3D parallax effect with it.
‘Live Focus’ mode on Galaxy Note 9 relies on the same principle as the iPhone X’s Portrait Mode. But its stores depth data differently. The qualty of 3d image is less as compared to iPhone. take a look here : www.facebook.com/nuuneoi/posts/10216478233324532
The main issue is that the depth map data taken from most Android phones with 2 camera has no standard. Every brand uses different formats for their depth data, so it may take a while for Facebook to roll out this feature to the another phone model beside Apple’s iPhones :angel:
