Rooted g930u won't recognize Verizon Sim - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Not sure if anyone has run into this at all but all help is appreciated. I rooted my unlocked g930u. Its on the latest firmware for the unlocked variant. I installed my Verizon sim card and a message popped up saying g it had to restart to download carrier specific features. When it reboots, it reboots into recovery mode and gives me a DRM has failed message. I'm not sure why this is attached to the sim card because if I restart the phone wothpout a sim, I can use it normally. Thanks guys

Network unlock

I bought a used note 5 T-MOBILE 64 GB that was unlocked yesterday. My sim card was working fine. I installed TWRP recovery by ODIN and after installing it my phone boot-looped. So, I installed "no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip" file and rooted the phone with "BETA-SuperSU-v2.68-20160228150503.zip". After that the stock rom booted fine but I the phone turned on it gave the error that non-carrier sim was inserted and the sim did not work. I tried formatting the phone. Installed the nougat firmware updated it and the problem still persistes. Is there any way to remove Network lock? I would appreciate your help greatly

No-service/Emergency call

Hi!
My dual-sim P20 (EML-L29)has an issue with sim. When I put (working ) sim to any slot the phone request pin, after I put it the phone starts but the carrier doesnt work. Instead of carrier name I have a cross with no-service/ emergency call only. If I do manual carrier search phone found it, however phone cannot connect to carrier due to "registration error". On the other hand, I put 2 sims simultaneously and one of them connected to carrier.
What I done
wipe cache
factory reset with wipe cache
downgrade from 9.1.0.311 to 9.0.0.280 with HiSuite
The phone shows two serial IMEI. Is it normal? I dont have experience with dual sim phones.
I suspect that the problem is caused by modem. If it is possible to flash modem separately? The bootloader is locked. Any other ideas and advice are appreciated.

Question AT&T Z Flip 4 Flashed T-Mobile Firmware But Boot Animation Still AT&T

Wondering if I flashed correctly because the boot animation is still AT&T. I used Odin to flash the latest firmware (F721USQU1AVIA_F721UOYN1AVIA_TMB). Shouldn't the AT&T apps go away and the T-Mobile apps get installed? Bought phone and the seller didn't say it was the AT&T version but instead said it was Samsung unlocked. Anyway, since I'm on T-Mobile I figured there must be a way to put the T-Mobile firmware on the phone. Is that not the case?
Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks.
First the AT&T apps only appear if you have flashed the firmware and booted up the device with an AT&T sim card inside the phone. Second, if you want to get the T-Mobile variant of the firmware, take out the sim card with your device powered on, reboot your phone, unlock your devide, then insert your T-Mobile SIM card, you should see a pop up saying something, like "restart your device to get carrier features" an on that same pop there should be a button saying "restart" or "ok" or something along the lines of those.
Hmmm I'll try that. The phone had the T-Mobile sim in it when flashed. Should I have not had a sim in at all during the flash?
Thanks
I don't think it really matters if the sim card is out during the flash because I'm pretty sure when you the sim card back in after the device restarts and you then put the card back in you will still need to restart the device to get the carrier software installed.
I wonder if this only applies to Samsung unlocked versions and not the carrier unlocked version because I received no such prompting when the sim was inserted (originally an AT&T sim was in the phone, then I put in my T-Mobile sim).
Did you buy the phone unlocked? You should use the patched version of Odin which can be found [here](https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/patched-odin-3-13-1.3762572/) and download the file labeled 3.14.1_3B_patched. this patched version ignores and bypasses the following conditions
"FAIL! Model mismatch fail" (all PatcheD versions)
"FAIL! SHA256 is invalid" (all PatcheD versions)
"FAIL! Blocked carrier" (PatcheD versions >= 3.14.1)
You can also use the patched Odin to go from carrier firmware to unlocked firmware (which is what I use it for since AT&T takes forever to push updates out)
