Does anyone have a CM13 before september but after april 2016? - HTC One A9

I need it as I cant buy sunshine and the other CM13 builds ive found hasnt fixed the low volume (Mixer presets - RX7 didnt work for me)

No, you can't get any newer than builds, but you can go into system/lib/he and delete the file ending with amplifiermsm8952.so

I have "cm-13.0-20160513-NIGHTLY-hiaeuhl" on my PC.
I would upload it if that helps you

[Rom][Main version munjeni]Photon Android release thread

I think you need an update? Ok, here is new release bassed on release r134 and fixes from release r149 http://code.google.com/p/photon-android/source/list , all credits go to r0bin, schlund, pwel, mweber1980 and all who reported bugs, so now:
- battery full working!
- lightsensor full working
- headset working
- owerclocking enabled (just, disable perfloock and set owerclock you want!)
- bluetooth working (not tested audio routing!)
I want to say something. Diference beetwen mine release and release from google page is indentic, but have some diferences: mine release have diferent initrd, google page release use cache folder but mine release use cache partition, block size is smaler in mine release...etc (I think some sd cards previous not worked, working now), so if you not know what you are doing you will lose something like gps, 3g, ...etc becouse between mine/google release have small diferencies (but all is compiled from same sources and use same fixes), so if you want to use mine patches you need to use clean munjeni release! But if you use google release with mine patches (example: use mine initrd), you will lose something in compatibility!!! I no want to be misunderstandabled, but I think our forum need an changes (an release) becouse gone to be death forum... If you not have mine release installed, and you want to apply our update, please first delete all folders and files from previous version and install clean munjeni release, and than apply our update! If you have mine release installed, just apply update. If you have r134 release from google page, please dont use mine update! Currenltly we trying to clean other bugs but new release will be clean mix of our two version with other fixes and will be in next release!!! So enjoy with our upgrade bassed on r149 release

Fixed bug, attachment reuploaded!!
EDIT:
I forgot to say about time bug. Time bug is not presented in mine version, but is presented only if you have not checked option "prevent sleep when charging" in options/development!!! So you need to enable that option becouse when that option is not enabled and phone charging, you will get time forward if your phone go to sleep (screen go to off), so don't forget to enable it!!! Also uncheck automatic time!

Sorry guys I forgot something for 3g internet, it's fixed now and attachment reuploaded!

Yes, it's fixed now.
I have a question. This release have the same fixes that Cyanogen release? Because i alredy installed Cyanogen release and all is great. Thanks munjeni
Thanks for this release. I downloaded the files Photon_R134__.rar & froyo_update.rar. Extracted first file, deleted folder update and then unzipped second file. Deleted everything from SD card. Booted "haret", everything seems to work fine, it's all booting .
But I have no data connection. I do not really understand what to do, I followed the link, but am a little bit lost... Sorry .
Before I used r134 from google page and data connection worked fine "out of the box".
Anybody some problem? What can I do to get 3G / data to work?

I don´t want to loose my data. I use Version 127 with updates from munjeni. Is it ok, only to use the froyo_update.rar, or do I reinstall everything?
Pls help ;-)

Yes, THX,
fix works with new release!
Many THX.
Sorry guys I forgot something for 3g internet, it's fixed now and attachment is reuploaded in first post!
Bugs
Bug report:
- backside of mobile is getting hot, I will check when mobile is inactive
- data connection only with update possible (look former post)
- watch is running fast, check over this night during loading
Andy
Is hot because you tried camera shoot and not restarted phone?
Time forwarding because you charging your phone with screen off?
Time forwarding becouse your phone conected to usb with screen off?
Do not use cammera and youtube app becouse need to be fixed!
test
Don`t know if I have installed everything correctly..
But, data works, wi-fi works..
Heating effect present although not as dramatic as before.
Sync data is not saved..
Charging is still difficult, because suddenly the phone thinks that battery is 100% full. And its not.
Testing on the battery life...
Works much faster for some reason )
Excellent work.

[ROM][NIGHTLY] CyanogenMod 7.2-RC3+ for Huawei U8150 (June 11th)

Introduction
CyanogenMod is an aftermarket firmware for a number of cell phones based on the open-source Android operating system. It offers features not found in the official Android-based firmwares of vendors of these cell phones.
History (standing on the shoulders of giants)
CyanogenMod has been under development for the U8150 since early 2011. In the beginning marcnvidic started off by getting the Android device tree organized and getting initial builds working. After that tilal6991 made great progress with basic functionality, bugs, etc. I joined initially to learn about the AOSP/CyanogenMod build system, but have helped clean up the device tree, fixing a few bugs, and keeping up with the latest upstream CyanogenMod changes.
Download
Note: The CyanogenMod build server builds CM7.x releases for the U8150 once a week. I don't have time to update builds manually here anymore. Find CM builds here: http://get.cm/
ROM (June 11, 2012): goo-inside.me / Mediafire (md5: 14fd84e4cdb957c114a4ea52ebd890fd)
ClockworkMod Recovery (5.0.2.8): goo-inside.me / BayFiles (md5: 1b835fb177a0aab362c226f07158bb59)
Google Apps : http://goo-inside.me/gapps (use the CyanogenMod 7.2 one)
Installation
- First time flashing CyanogenMod to your Huawei U8150?
Install ClockworkMod recovery (using fastboot is the easiest way).
Boot into recovery using the 3-button combo
Do a backup!
WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
Install the ROM from the SD card using ClockworkMod Recovery
Optionally install the Google Addon
- Coming from an earlier CyanogenMod nightly?
Boot into recovery using the 3-button combo
Do a backup!
If coming from a nightly earlier than January June 11, 2012:
WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
Install the ROM from the SD card using ClockworkMod Recovery
Optionally install the Google Addon

Pending patches: http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#q,status:open+project:CyanogenMod/android_device_huawei_u8150,n,z
Known issues*
Development tools like adb and DDMS see the device as "????????????" instead of showing the serial number (related to the Wifi MAC issue below)
The wifi MAC address is not read from hardware, it is set statically (see here, possible fix).
FM Radio (probably won't get fixed)
Battery usage slightly worse than stock (terrible in some cases)
Overclocking frequencies not as stable as stock or on U8150 kernel (due to the voltages used in the U8160 kernel sources we're using, see arch/arm/mach-msm/acpuclock-7x30.c)
Fixed issues / changes

marcnvidic - initial CM6 port, device tree, etc.
tilal6991 - holding the candle for so many months after marcnvidic left, lots of bug fixes, device tree work, etc
subpsyke/psyke83 - being a badass, fixing lots of stuff in his Huawei U8160 port which also helped us.
CyanogenMod team (koush, defer, turl, et al for helping me when I'm stuck with repo, git, gerrit, etc).

Are resolved these old bug?
hidden SSid
mac address
audio distorted
3mpx photo
tethering usb e wifi
I am here too - ha ha!
@Giogts:
-USB and wifi tethering work
-3mpx photo is not solved, but it was stated in the big thread that it was "enlarged" from 2mpx to 3mpx in the original stock rom while the camera ccd chip supports only pics up to 2mpx ..so tehnically it is not a bug anymore
-mac adress is still different then the original one
-hidden ssid works when you add the network manually, othewise it's not shown on the scan
-audio was a bit crackling in the Dec 5 version but in Jan 17 version for me it's a bit better. i don't know if it's fixed for good
@aorth: excellent thread. subscribed
Subscribed, good work, i've just flashed your build on my old 8150.

As I already said HERE, our CCD cannot take real 3.2 mp photo. They were just software upscaled/tweaked on stock roms and custom rom based on a stock one (FusionIdeos, Leandroid etc..) (CyanogenMod isn't based on a stock one, it's build from sources).
Awesome job! Finaly a fresh thread! 17 jan is way better then 5 dec one in terms of battery!

me too with 5 dec version, but for me isn't important.
For people who tried last nightly: do you see any difference with previous version? I read that someone told battery power seems better than 5 december, and what about new kernel?
LED does not blink on Dec 5 or Jan 17 , not a big issue for me but I have tried a few non stock SMS apps like gosms and led blinks once and stops unless you select "always on" in notification settings.

headset bug
The headset but is stiil there.
updated with headset pluged in -> headset working fine -> unplug -> replug -> can't talk through headset (can't hear call on headset), although music is playing fine

Cyanogen seems to be flawed (all over the place)
I've upgraded to a Motorola Defy & CM7 bugs are still rampant
Running MIUI 2.1.13 w/ 'no serious bugs' :0mg:
PS - I did shed a lil tear when I handed my "Wa-way" over to the trouble & strife
"I'll miss you all!" :bwahahaha: :sob: :sniff:

sorry my bad english
I am back to 5dec2011 build for 2 reasons:
1- i can't pick to my own ringtone from the ringtone folder on my sd card from the setting screen.
2- My phonebook will not sync with my car Nav/Bluetooth system
I am not sure if this is a bug or just one of those odds situation. btw, I always reset to factory before and after each rom.
BUT, as always thanks for keeping us up to date on soon to become a stoneage phone
No problem with ringtones for me.
great rom - i cant understand by cm dont officially support our device.it seems to work great

EDIT: arrrrr fist problem with patch. My WIFI isn't working and I've tried various things to see if they help, like scrubbing the cache/java-build-code and tried to flash again, but can't get wifi to work.
I'm in no major hurry.
CWM 5.0.2.7 works just fine.

Installation Instructions
Make sure you have a second partition on your SD card before flashing!!!! This can be created with minitool partition wizard on Windows or gparted on Linux.
If on a BML rom (stock-based GB)...
0. Read "Things to take note of" below
1. Reboot to recovery
2. Make sure your version of CWM is at least 5.x
3. Install zip. It will reboot a couple of times, don't be worried.
4. If you want root or Gapps, flash them now
If on an MTD rom (CM7 and all ICS+)(I tested CM9, CM10.1 and CM11)...
0. Read "Things to take note of" below
1. Reboot to recovery
2. Wipe data, and cache paritions (just in case). If updating to a newer build, you can probably skip this step
3. Install zip
4. If you want root or Gapps, install them now
The first boot can take several minutes. Be patient. If it takes 10+ minutes, pull the battery and reboot to recovery.
Things to Take Note Of
Humberos (the i9000 maintainer) has moved on to different projects which means no first-gen Galaxy S devices are being actively maintained. Builds may break at any time!
I actually have a T959P, not a T959V... It was released by Telus in Canada. It is a very similar device (I can run ROMs for the T959V with limited problems - ie sometimes I get wakelocks and the gps never works), it has a different GPS chipset and also uses different cell bands (but I can still use your guys modems but I lose access to the 850Mhz band). I have created a build specifically for the T959V as best as I can guess and also provide T959P builds.
The USB connection is MTP and not mass storage as Omni has removed mass storage. In recovery there is still an option to mount as mass storage device.
This build is very close to the official omni source code. This means that the recovery is TWRP and there aren't any added "features"
In order to get it rooted, you need to install SuperSu.
Gapps reportedly slow down the device significantly so tread carefully.
Backup Backup Backup! I'm not responsible for you losing any data.

Microphone mute option doesn't work during calls
What doesn't
720p recording is very laggy
What's been removed
TV-Out - It was removed upstream plus I think binary blobs are broken in Lollipop...
Live wallpapers - this is a low-ram device
Everything else is not tested!!!

Thanks Time!
This would not have been possible without the following people:
Thanks to humberos for bringing Lollipop to the first-gen Galaxy S series. This would not have been possible without his work.
Thanks to FB and Dao for their work on the CM-11 device tree. I used several of their fixes.
Thanks to noiphonehere for his device trees and kernel, most of my work was based off of his.
Thanks to bhundven and the other members of teamacid for their work on the aries kernel.
Thanks to all others that have helped get this phone to where it is today!
Thanks to vcmerritt. A name you're probably not familiar with, but he was the only one to create something for the T959P and without him I'd still be on stock...
Build your own!
Follow the instructions at http://docs.omnirom.org/Setting_Up_A_Compile_Environment using the android-5.1 branch
Before doing a repo sync, put the galaxy_s_series.xml file from the Download folder in .repo/local_manifests folder of the source tree.
After syncing the source, open a terminal and in the directory where you downloaded the source code type "source ./build/envsetup.sh" and then "brunch galaxys4gmtd"
Changelog
Changelog for 07/03/2015 Build
Newer Omni source
Added volume controls and flight mode toggle to power button menu
Added Bigmem option. This increases available RAM by ~20mb but breaks 720p video recording. Humberos created the kernel setup and I integrated a toggle for it into Advanced device settings.
Selinux is now in enforcing mode. I had to modify the GPS startup to have any chance of getting here. Please let me know if it still works/doesn't work/never worked
Notifications are sometimes wonky. To fix, in Settings, go to Performance, then Advanced. Select Force high-end graphics and reboot your phone.
Changelog for 2015/07/20 Build
The data partition is now the second partition of the SD Card as opposed to internal storage
Gapps now work. If you get error 461 when installing from Play Store, a full data wipe should fix it. You can try experimenting with clearing data for the Play Store and/or Play Services or removing and re-adding your Google account if you don't want to do a full data wipe.
HSPA vs UMTS settings in DeviceSettings has been fixed
High-End graphics are forced by default to fix notification issue
ART parameters have been tweaked
Miscellaneous other tweaks, see my Github for details
Changelog for 2015/07/24 Build
Stabilized bluetooth connection
Fixed typo in GPS initialization. Does it work?
Added ability to use f2fs file system on /data. Supposed to give better performance
Added force fast charge and touch wake to kernel. Touchwake is accessible through its sysfs path, fast charge through Performance Settings, BatterySelinux currently denies these requests...

This is a maintenance build. Very little has changed
Some more RAM freed (disabled some debugging stuff, TV-Out driver, IR driver)

Awesome work @xc-racer99!
Wow, bringing this ole device back from a coma here. Nice to see someone else willing to work on lollipop for this oldie but goodie. Keep this device alive man.
Edit: If you are in need for some GFX for this thread, let me know and I'll see what I can brew up for you.

I hope I can keep this great little device going a little longer, however it will probably get tough. I did a repo sync earlier today and things are starting to break. The last few builds haven't even booted. With humberos no longer maintaining the i9000 and aries-common, I've had to fork the aries-common repository to try to keep going. The only upside of this is that I now have a little bit more freedom and can add things in if I want to.
Thanks for the offer of the graphics. If I can get a new build working, then I'll probably take you up on your offer. I think I've traced the problem but I'll have to wait and see...
For anyone that is trying/has tried this out, I'd be very curious on the status of the GPS on the T959V. I'm interested in creating the sepolicies for it so we can put selinux into enforcing mode but I don't want to go to the effort if it doesn't even work right now.
I've downloaded the zip and one of the smaller Gapps packages...won't be able to flash until early next week...I'll be out of town...will post results later...thanks for keeping this phone current.
New Build Uploaded!
Download is still at the same link as before, just use the 2015-07-03 build
I managed to find out why my new builds hadn't been booting - it was because the syntax for using a custom kernel toolchain had changed.
Anyway...
On another note, I've had a look at re-implementing TV-Out support. It doesn't look promising as several of the functions in the android frameworks that it used have been tweaked.... Still working on it but don't hold your breath.
Also, if somebody could test dock audio that would be appreciated. I don't have any way of testing it. If it doesn't work, I do have an idea on how to fix it (for those interested, another almost-aries device, the Infuse 4G, had to modify things slightly to get it to work. I would try to emulate their solution).
Omg download nowwww....thanks my friend
Alright, I'm having some issues on the latest build with notifications and the lockscreen. I'm still working on tracing down the reason for the problem...

Hello, im a user of a t959v. And I've been using this rom for three days. Everything is fine and very smooth on this rom except that, I can't install anything from the playstore. I always get (cannot install app due to an error 963). And Ive tried all the gapps, even the new link provided but still no luck.

Good to hear that that's its (mostly) been working for you. I was hoping that the gapps problem was just me
Out of curiosity, which of the alternate gapps did you try?
A brief google of the error brings up a couple of possibilities...
Try an older gapps version. The ones from devloz on the i9000 thread devloz and the oldest revision for 5.1.1 are probably your best bet. Please be aware that Google Play store will automatically update!!! In order to prevent this, you will need to create a folder called "com.android.vending-1.apk" in /data/app (use a root explorer such as ES File Explorer or adb if you know how). If a file with that name already exists, delete it first.
Another thing to try would be to unmount your sdcard first before trying to install an app. I know, its a terrible work-around but it should work. This is because the error is that Google Play is trying to save some data on your sdcard but then for some reason it fails (I'm not sure why).
I'll hopefully get around to seeing if its a permissions problem after I find out what's been causing the issue with the notifications on the latest build.
P.S. Does the GPS work?
Early update...
...ROM flashed fine...a little slow to boot...about 3 minutes...but it booted.
...Gapps flashed fine...used 20150513_5.1.x package
...Installed Super SU (although I don't think that's necessary) and TB.
...So far only gave a quick test to camera and web browser...no problems.
...Am now in the process of re-installing user apps and data from TB...this will take a while.
When I'm done with that, I use Link2SD to link most of my user files to the SD card. After that is all set up, I'll test stuff like GPS, root access, etc. I'll post back later...maybe tomorrow.
But so far so good.
OK...I did some testing tonight and here's some results.
Working:
.it boots
.root
.browser
.playstore
.camera
.link2sd (about 180 mb free in internal)
.camera
.wifi
.email
Nor working:
.bluetooth
.google search/voice search
.just about all the rest of the Gapps
.tons of force closes including Maps so can't test GPS
Won't be able to do anymore testing until next week.

Alright, thanks very much for the update. I'll do some more testing here and see if I can solve anything. For me, bluetooth file transfers to the phone work but not from the phone.
I've been looking at the notification "error" where the lockscreen notifications do not appear correctly. It appears to have been introduced upstream with a merge. I'm having difficulty finding out exactly what changed and since no errors are being thrown in the logcat, it could be a while...
For testing the GPS, there's an app from the Play Store called GPS Test which does a nice job of showing satellites and whether or not you have a lock on them.
you're the man!
nice one! its nice that this device are still alive.! and now were on 5.1

No, it should be Humberos is the man! I basically re-hashed his code for the i9000 and used bits and pieces from people like Bhundven, noiphonehere, maxfierke, Dao, and FB to get things to work properly.
For a status update, I figured out the lockscreen notification problem. I have a new build being made that I hopefully will be able to upload in the next couple of days (internet dependent). TV-Out looks totally broken as the proprietary blobs no longer function. I don't have the know-how to make ugly hacks to get them to work. The new build will have SElinux in enforcing mode and have the different GPS initialization (like the last build) until someone tells me that it doesn't work
Uh-oh, looks like I jumped the gun.... Having problems once again
Any updates on getting the play store to work? I have searched, downloaded, and tried every gapp made for 5.1. I found that I can load any app on the rom, if I get the APK version of it.

Darn, so its still not working. Not surprising. I've been struggling on the notification issue and am at my wit's end as to what the problem is. I don't think its only our phone as several i9000 users have been reporting it as well. Whether it is only the first-gen Galaxy S series that is having the problem or not is anyone's guess. My programming skills are insufficient to fix the issue!
I'll have another look at gapps over the next couple of days and see if I can figure out a combination that works 100% of the time.
I'm assuming the error message is still 963 or does it silently fail now? Its probably related to the fact that we have only an external sd card and no internal sd card like most devices...
All the problems with the notifications that I've found are:
Only one notification will show up at a time
Large notifications such as the music player do not render properly. They are cut off at the normal notification size and occasionally it seems as if there are two layers there (one for the small version, one for the bigger version) (see attached picture, taken with VLC as the media player, but also appears with Apollo)
Notifications don't always show up. A little icon appears in the top left corner of the status bar but no notification is present. Seems hit or miss
The words No notifications appears in the lockscreen just above the clock when there are no notifications. Otherwise, a notification (and only one) which can't be clicked covers part of the clock

[DEV] WIP - Beta 01 Android 7.0 Build

Hi guys, or specially developers.
I backed my first beta of B361 Nougat 7.0 for testing and bugfixing.
Theres a lot of instances, where cant setup with SuperRs Kitchen. So we need to take the update_binary from a hw/eu or hw...zip to flash strsymlink correctly and not getting error 6 in twrp.
The system in my zip is deodexed and working so far. Only Developer Settings and Security Settings FC. I had that on MM 6.0 too, but at that time, there i found missing symlinks. In this time with 7.0, i cant find anything that is missing for opening this settings.
Edit: Deleting apps get in to softreboot.
Maybe someone know more about that. Or should i pack this as images (img/dat)?
It can also be a cause of missed root.
Beta01
Deodexed
Removed unneeded Apps
fixed booting by changing update_binary
dm-verity disabled
for root just flash phh superuser.
Link removed, wait until emui5.1 or android O
Please not flash, if you dont know, what you do and not want to get a messed up system, because not all working as excepted.
Uploaded scripts for hw/eu and updater-script for beta. Link is in OP. Maybe someone testing on his own device and have more clue, to get the error removed. I've build for me another test images, but get not further than gmail searching after wifi gets connected, but on this beta it works.
Maybe stupid, if the security issues comming from failed data decryption/encryption.
The next thing: Keystore is propably broken, thats why i cant handle with security. Now its to find why, where the problem starts, is it bad deodexing, or is it needed to pull the files from 6.0 to get it working.
1 month is over, after releasing first beta. Thanks to @ajsmsg78 the security bug is fixed and all works well now, so it doesnt needs to release a 2nd beta anymore and i lead to release a ROM soon, as i build-in all functional apps i use in the past on 6.0.

Ok, so did you go to all the others you tried and bash them aswell? Or just this one ? You haven't even stated what device your using, please be more specific.. hannah / nora / ???
as you stated all of them have this issue and unless your volunteering to fix it then dont knock it, for now thats just how it is until we get a fix.
The whole reason I made this and shared it was because others had this issue AND random reboots or other issues aswell.
I've been running this for a week now without any other issues.
for now the only option available is to put a bandaid on soundfx... I am personally using this method to have bluetooth audio (MEDIA) working (NOT CALLS!) = boot twrp , mount vendor , goto advanced ->> terminal and type the following
mv /vendor/lib/soundfx /vendor/lib/soundfx-backup
reboot
Still will experience some stuttered sounds while the screen is off, but other than that and no bluetooth calls everything seems to work fine.
If a real fix is presented I will post it. Until then...
Enjoy.... Or.. Dont Enjoy..

I'm probably gonna do the option (Don't Enjoy) because I rather have 100% stable rom!!!!! Then to deal with this Bluetooth BS. I rather stay on stock with all my mods installed to make it act an feel like rremix, lineage, bootleggers, etc
Thanks anyways!
