Okay, so, I've successfully figured out a way to activate high impedance mode "forever".
1) Flash my ViPER4Android port from the Themes, Apps, and Mods forum. // http://forum.xda-developers.com/v20/themes/h918-viper4android-t3495134
2) Make sure to read the OP in the aforementioned thread, especially the provided installation steps, I ccannot stress this enough.
3) Open ViPER4Android XHiFi, switch to the Headset tab (enable it/power on), and scroll down to the Master Gate (Limiter) section.
4) Tap on Output Gain and select 3.5dB.
5) Do the same with ViPER4Android FX.
6) Plug in your B&O H3 earbuds/earphones/headphones (these are ones I was using to test, I checked with on my Denon Urban Ravers and it works there as well. So... I'm going to assume it'll work for all, if not, most of you).
7) Profit???
Reserved.
Doesn't work. Still showing as normal headphones. max 75 volume

Do I have to enable Master Power on the Headset tab?
Mine is weird. At 3.5 it shows as External Device instead of Normal most of the time.
I tried going higher than 3.5 one step at a time but it never goes into High mode.
didn't work (H3)
I'm guessing this won't actually work for anyone. The two headphones you listed as testing this with will most likely trigger high impedance mode. I looked up the impedance for the Denon Urban Ravers and it comes back as 64 ohms. That triggers the mode. The H3's are known to trigger the mode too although no idea how or why.

I have the AH-C300, which only have an ohm of 16.
Which is why I'm finding it very strange that no one else is able to replicate my finding...
I just got my BO buds in the mail and when first plugged in it was normal impedance. I twisted the plug to get both buds to play music and then unplugged and plugged back in and I had high impedance mode. Guess its just luck is involved

Hi !
I am looking for a WIRED headphone with a HTC mini-USB plug with a command control having ALL the following features:

I like what you are searching for. But a clip close to, but not actually on the volume control, like this one, is not workable for you?

Thank you for your reply.
Feature number 2. is important for me because I would like to have the least stuff on the cord. We already have the mic (but that's normal, and very useful) on the cord, so I would like to avoid having a clip more on the cord.
Why? because I want to use the following stuff to carry my eadphones:

I know, the real situation is not as ideal as on this picture, but I can easily put the mic stuff outside of the box.

Yes, usually it is not easy because it is fixed very solid and because I wanted to tidy up the headphone very quickly
I've searched, but can not find an answer to this.
I have one of those little adapters that lets me plug any 3.5mm earplugs into the Touch Pros USB port. There is no mic on the adapter, so when its plugged in, I can not make phonecalls. I was wondering if there is a way to use the built in mic of the TP while the adapter is plugged in?
Thank you
Any ideas? I hope what im asking makes sense?
I´m also wondering
Sorry to keep asking , but id really like to be able to use voice command and make phonecalls while the usb port is in use with the 3.5mm converter.
There is no way to force the TouchPro to use its own mic even when it thinks a headset is plugged in?
No. Buy a stereo headset with mic.
Or if you own a $6xx 3.5mm headphones then buy another USB converter with mic (see pictures below)

I searched eBay for a solution like what you are showing there, since i had a feeling it is what I'd need. I could not find it though. So i came here to ask. Its not that i have expensive headphones, its that i attach an FM transmitter to the 3.5mm port, while driving, and want to be able to still make phone calls and use Voice Command.
I would buy the USB converter with MIC that you pictures if i can find it.
Thanks
EDIT: noticed the picture was from expansys. Found the product, but its 15 euro. A lot more than the 3 euro i payed for 2 of the mic-less ones. Its annoying that i cant turn the TPs mic on for free

Well, here you go, dude.

I saw you edited your post above. Yes, Seidio and Expansys are normally over-priced their stuffs. The worst here is both of them jump in bed together.
Thanks, the only place i can get it seems expansys.ie. The other two are American shops. (Im in ireland ).
I guess i will have to go for the cable. Still, out of curiosity, there is no way to force Windows Mobile or the TouchPro, or whatever is responsible, to not reroute the mic? It HAS to route both the mic and sound once the 'headset' is plugged in? There is no override somehow? Even if its a hack.
I had research so much with google and xda...but found nothing
just only reason:
1- it may be the problem with kernel. this is not my case
2- it is because of bad hardware. electronic leak out and, so we have static noise while playing music.it is anoying many people, include me
so...i decided to found a way to fix it.
who should try this?
people who feel bad with this static noise while playing music..
and
people who listen to music with volume <40%
this problem:
-usually happen with in-ear headphone, which has small DC resistance (my soundmagic E10 have only 16 Ohm)
-usually happen with almost Mid-end and Low-end phone, but some time with high-end phone
to fix this, i connect left and right signal to my in-ear driver over 2 resistor 82 Ohm.
just simple?
yes.and result is really amazing.
now i listen to music with volume about 70%, the sound is really clear, much better quality :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
how can i caculate the resistor to use?
just simple. find value of DC resistance of your headphone. then x5 it
16 x 5 = 80 , so i use 82 Ohm resistor
(but if it not good for you, them try x4 or x6.)
to mod: i dont know where to place this toppic, so if you think it is in wrong place, please move it, but dont delete it. thanks

Like the title states,
I have recently purchased the V-moda crossfade LP from amazon (on sale), and realized that the 3 button controller doesn't work. Normally, the center button work as single tap (pause/play) and double (next song) and tripple (previous song). And i have tested this same cable on my brother's one plus, and it worked fine. On the Z3, it will just increase the volume.
That being said, other headphones i have such as xiao mi piston works fine (volume and centre button), all responsive. My Sony headphone XBA-C10 centre button works perfectly on the Z3 (not the volume buttons, which is normal).
I think there is something wrong with the Sony ROM that's causing the center button not working (only increase volume) because the same headphone (crossfade LP) center button works on the one plus one.
It depends how many pins (rings) headset have, and in which order. Maybe they are not compatible fully.

So does that mean if i change to another cable it will work right?
You don't need a full cable, an adapter should be fine, should easily find one online. My old Philipps earphones/headset came with an adapter to be compatible with more devices.

I've tried two adaptors that my brother has, and none of them works.....but rather screw up my phone and i had to reboot to get it back working again. Would you mind sharing what adaptor you use?

I used to use the one that came with my Philipps headset on my dad's iPhone. I have not used it on the Z3. It had a label/tag on it showing which phones the adapter was needed for. I gave it to my father who put the headphones and adapter pin somewhere so I can't test it.
I am pretty sure there are only 2 variations in the pin order, depending on which phone you use. Of course do correct me if I am wrong.

I have a galaxy s21. I just got a warranty exchange and I noticed my Bluetooth volume on my car stereo is not at loud as my old phone.
I have both phones in my possession and played the same song individually on each device and I noticed that the new phone's volume is lower than my old one. All the settings are the same on both phones.
Any clue what's going on? Thanks!

I've heard this happen occasionally. Samsung browser sometimes triggers it. Eventually it resets spontaneously. Oddly I haven't seen this behavior for months now. Same load and app versions. It maybe a Developer option setting.
Check all settings again including volume limiting and bt settings in Developer options. Try toggling those, try turning off Disable absolute Volume. Use the master volume control and cycle from zero to 100% a couple times.
Try this as well if the device has this option, may only apply to Wearables:

It can be quit the pain but it's almost surely a settings issue. There are apps that allow you to access the hidden settings that presumably also would give access to absolute bt volume. I haven't had to try that.
For best audio use the C port hard wire output.
Enable the UHQ upscaler in advanced sound settings.
