Marshmallow has something called DM-Verity meaning you have to run a modified kernel that disables this so you CAN have root
And you NEED a unlocked bootloader to run a custom kernel
Sent from my E6653 using XDA-Developers mobile app

With use e.g this:

[Q] How do you know your phone is bricked?

I was just wondering just in case i run into problems and so i wouldnt freak out lol
If your phone didn't connect on flash mod and can't recognize any application such as flash till and pc companion and can't get xrecovery and cwm.then you can fix that phone bricked
Xperian8~ click thanks if it helps...
When can't get into recovery it is softbricked. And when you can't get into download + recovery mode it is hardbricked.

It doesn't turn on.
If it does turns on and you have no access to recovery/downloadmode and your computer does not recognize it.

I have done this but still not rooted but another Knox void for nothing not happy about it.
Did this again with the new SU and I am rooted again.

Anyone got the TA back up for the f8331 ?

Just flashed the stock nougat ROM only to find out the camera isn't working and I needed to make a TA back up of my DRM keys which I didn't. I would appreciate it if someone could share their F8331 TA back up. Thanks
