I've had my Verizon pixel (sailfish) now for almost a month. Multiple times in the past couple of weeks, after roughly a minute of phone conversation, I lose the call. I can hear the other party but they can't hear me. At first I thot it was only my Bluetooth headset, but its happening on device only too. I thot the Nov update would fix it but no luck. Rooted running Elemental X, Weta Rom & twrp beta 2. Anyone else? Sugg? Thanks
Not seeing this at all, same setup, rom, twrp,& kernel, but bought at Google store, and using T-Mobile

If you can unlock your bootloader and are comfortable flashing kernels that may be the only solution until Google possibly recognizes it's an issue and fixes.

Great news! Users are reporting receiving the update. Can't wait for custom ROMs to be based off of this.

I can't wait for a debloated version of this to show up here somewhere.
It has voice activation when the screen is off. Also waiting for a ROM of it instead of taking the ota.

I'd like to think with Lollipop being released officially for us it will really allow development to take off and improve CyanogenMod..
We need kernel sources next

I got notice on the status bar for the update. I'm hesitant to install it now because I'm rooted and I don't want to loose the root. Has anyone installed this update and see if their phone has become unrooted? Thanks.

Yeah, I posted too quickly before reading other threads:

You're right, it seems like I'll loose root. So I'll pass on the update until some one can figure it out. Thanks.

By the way, if you are like me with a rooted D850 and do not wish to update your phone yet but would like to turn off the annoying notifications, here is what you do:
1. Open your LG’s G3 dialer and go to LG hidden system settings. Then type: 3845#*850#
2. After doing that, just scroll to WLAN Test;
3. Now you must select the “OTA option” and turn it OFF;
4. Reboot your phone and you’re done!
http://androidflagship.com/10105-disable-lg-g3-ota-update-notification
Worked for me so far.
I read few forums here, ppl are searching stock apps for CM12 which is running lollipop.
Is there any way i can get stock G3/G4/G5 ?
Im running CM13 Marshmallow 6.0.1 ?
My priority apps are CAMERA,Music player!
Unfortunately, it never happened, as much as we wanted them and pleaded for them they were never ported and chances of them bieng ported are zero to none. The only thing that you could do is flash zony music app and vudeo and album apps. Thats what i did and its splendid, and for the camera the best we have is snap camera, wich is in bilsspop and resurrection remix roms. And you can flash the lg remote too. But thats all im afraid
ok wait... ?

I dont need gapps, i need stock app from g3 g4 or g5!
CM13 rom i so smooth, but file manager and especally camera it sucks!
The issue with g3 cam vs aosp isnt new and it's all around. It's very improbable that the camera will ever be ported due libs being closed source.
Snap camera is the next best thing in aosp / cm based ROMs.

It's quite random. MM boot animation seems way more defined and precise. This is just dots flying everywhere .. and based on recent leaks this seems to be the deal.
Not diggin it. at all.
Im not sure if i like it or not. mm is still better in my opinion.
That looks like MnMs that elongates lol. They could have done more.
Android N is a great platform and is the latest version launched by google. There's a lot of app in the market but the success of an app is analyzed by how the app works on the new upgraded platforms.

Hey everyone,
I am noticing a paucity of ROMs for the pixel (only the WETA and dirty unicorns) so far. Somewhat surprising for a stock android device. Is there a reason for that?
Is modding and tinkering starting to die for android?

I don't think so, I think it has to do with partitioning, it is very different than what people are used to, give it some time, I am sure Pure Nexus will release one when ready and when TWRP, su are a little more stable

As soon as gapps are fixed for Pixels we will see ROMs. In fact a bunch of them are ready but waiting for this.

pure nexus is in the works. I believe the slow down is the price, partitioning and the death of cm. devs have to use a new base.

Some part of it is absolutely GAPPS. DU has it built in rn because there is no flashable GAPPS. This issue though is tied in with the partition scheme I believe.

Cyanogen is dead, not the source. The code has been forked and devs need time now...
Read here:
http://lineageos.org/Yes-this-is-us/
Yea idk why people think CM is dead. Just getting back up and running on new servers under a different name..
Ask and you shall receive. The post promoting Carbon ROM just showed up, with warning about gApps issues.. Available for download soon. I've always liked this ROM.
Edited 1/1/17: ROM currently has issues with gApps (as in none available yet). Also has issues with slot system. Hang tight!
So I know this thread is 6 weeks old, but there are a good number of ROMs and kernels available now.
I personally recommend PureNexus. I've been using Beanstown106's ROMS since I had a S3, he does great work. I've also just installed ElementalX kernel, which is supposed to be a very battery friendly kernel.
Happy flashing!
I have a510f 6.o.1 which xposed framework should i installed guide please
Saw this Article about the new Google Pixel themes. Tried to follow the steps to get it to work but apparently our PH1 isn't as close to a Pixel as I thought it was.
Anyone have any luck getting this to work? Or seen someone who has it working on another device somewhere on XDA that isn't a Pixel?
I was able to install all 3 apps, do the ADB command but the wallpaper app just Force Closes/crashes when I attempt to do anything.

If you use this, go to post 11 or 12 and use the link there. The original mod is no longer supported, but Banks has continued his own version of the module. Works like a charm.
