If U Are Suddenly Discovered That Your Mobile Networks Is Not Working No Sim Detection And U Wont Able to Make Any Calls And U Tried All Patches Related With Ril Fix And Youre Thinking That Your Motherboard Is Defected And U Are Getting Constant Random Reboot. After A Custom Rom Flash Or Sometime It Will Delete Automatically If U Flashed Any Other Patch That Is Not Suitable For Our Device.
So Today Iam Proudly Presenting This Patch To Fix It Up.After U Flash This Patch U Will See All These Things Is Fixed Which Are Written Above.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwyPHEL3RNOzd2lmM2RNTk9IMlE/view?usp=drivesdk
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONDownload The Patch From Given Link Then Extract The Zip File And U Will Get A Folder Called TWRP,And Then Place This Folder In InternelSd/Extsdcard Wherever You Want And Then Turn Off Your Device.
Then Go To Backup And Restore Option And Select TWRP Then Some Folders Ahead U Will See Two Selection 1 Is EFS
And 2 Is MODEM Make Sure U Are Selected Both Then Swipe And This Will Repair Your Null Imei And Unknown Baseband. After Youre Done Then Reboot Your Device And Then U Will See Your Sim Is Detected And Other Bugs Is Fixed Regarding This Issue. If U Are On new or older modem then all u need to follow installation instruction and then reboot your phone Now u will see that your baseband version is showing G7102DDUBNK1 if u wanto flash a new modem do search for new available modems for grand 2 Duos SM-G7102 And flash modem via odin and thats it.
CAUSE OF THIS PROBLEMA Bad Custom Rom Flash Or Any Other Rom Flash That Is Not For Your Device
A Bad Custom Rom Or Any Unsupported Rom Can Wipe Efs Folder,Efs Is The Most Important Part Of our Device's System.
NOTE:-This Fix Is Only For Grand 2 Duos SM-G7102 Dont Flash It On Other Variant.[Like:-G7105,G710,G7106,G710K]It Will Brick Your Device Totally.
And U Will Not Allowed To Create Any Thread With This Type Of Fix.
HIT THANKS

Pretty sure that transferring IMEI from one device to another is against the law too also it can brick device also You just cant simply use someone's else efs backup EFS partition on your phone is made ONLY FOR YOUR PHONE.

Bro don't just misguide anyone with all this if they brick their device do u take the responsibility for that so just dont do all these weird things n dont lead a massacre to take place because of this its illegal n against xda rules so take it down

Bro i checked it and it is working fine imei wont change with this data because..once ive faced null imei and unknown baseband and i've fixed this problem...with this method and iam pretty sure that this method is 100% safe and it can save your grand 2 who have faced this problem.this data is just fix efs folder data imei is a hardware.everyone knows that so dont be scared i've tested it.on my friends device who was faced this problem.and this issue was fixed and imei number is not changed that youre saying.so dont be rude to me and this is a only way to fix this problem if your hardware is not defected.

I wouldn't know and i dun really care about the warranty.
Android phones are made to be messed around with.
If u are afraid, stay with ur stock phone and dun root or CWM.
Else u can always buy the USB Jig to reset the counter for less than US$4.
Cheers !
to install zip bags from CMW is safe and convenient.
good job!

[Q] Galaxy i9003 IMEI number lost... no recovery?

Hi and hello,
my first post in this great forum.
I (and my family ) own a SGS3 (running on null_19.1), an LG-P990 (root with Custom Rom) and an Samsung Galaxy S GT-i9003 (1&1 - Germany).
I have a big Problem with the Galaxy S:
I lost the IMEI (Phone is not recognizing SIM, Baseband "unknown" > my fault ). I read and googled a lot about this Problem, I have no Backup (shame on me).
I tried a lot of solved Problems (flashing, EFS - Professional, Heimdall, Galaxy S Unlocker,....), but nothing worked.
Current Situation:
Samsung Galaxy GT-I9003
Android 2.3.4 XXKPE with Root
Baseband unknown
IMEI unknown
Tried a SIM - Card: not recognized
IS there any Solution for this WITHOUT connecting the Samsung-Service?
If not, will it solve an USB-Jig?
Thanks a lot for your answers!
Greetings,
Bibaboris

its not a small problem mate... its a life threatning problem,,, A little piece of advice... return it to the person you took from because the chances to recover IMEI are very slim and should proceed on your own risk and then and only then I will redirect you to another method which is a bit complicated.. choice is yours

Unless the gut who gave it to you have the EFS folder backed up. Suggestion: RTS (Return To Sender), obviously he forgot what Dhiru said before flash Alpha 4:'Backed up your EFS folder just in case you lost your IMEI'. Its almost impossible to lost your IMEI on stock unless you deleted the EFS folder, which is a very stupid move, LoL.

My personal advice-
Use stock rom for few days..try to learn all the features and functions of your phone.Since u are new to this phone, rooting and flashing can be bit dangerous(NoteII SDS)..
Your first job is to update to latest 4.1.2 of ur region(if u r still on4.1.1) coz older roms have got sds bug.
For rooting and flashing-
1.Root ur device-
Rooting(thanks to @dr.ketan)
2.EFS backup(thanks [email protected]_id)
3.Flash advanced recovery(TWRP or CWM)
4.Flash ROM(again thanks to @dr.ketan)
best of luck:good:
Thanks @mannyvinny for quick help
Here i like to edit some steps to make easy
1.Go to post said in above msg step1 and select method 2 to root.
2.Download EFS backup tool from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2437066 and copy to SD card
Also Download required CustomROM and copy to SD card
3,Reboot to recovery
select ESF tool, it will start aroma installer, choose to make EFS backup, exit aroma , selet custom ROM flash
That's it.

Just adding here to remove misconception
Flashing/Rooting won't cause SDS directly, SDS happens only if you flash any older ROM/Kernel/Recovery (4.1.1). Any ROM/kernel/modem released by samsung after Jan13 are all safe.
@chappad singh
I recommend to read all post on first page of my All in One N7100 thread.
Yes dr. I know that..but why to take risk?if he's using 4.1.1 he should update to 4.1.2 asap..I mentioned this so that he's aware of this serious bug
Btw thanks for clarifying:thumbup:
Sent from my AweSoMe ☆♥Note2♥☆
thanks dr ketan and mannyvinny....I m little expert in note n7000....but as I said It is n7100....wanted to clarify safe tips cause I know there is a brick bug in early jellybean updates....and please advice some good custom rom which has sound enhancement as well as aroma intaller or some unique rom which u like the most.....thanks again

Rooting Huawei Y5-II CUN-U29(and all versions) easily

This is a guide on rooting Huawei Y5-II(the version i have is CUN-U29)but it works for all versions
For this you need kingroot apk version 4.9.6(latest) you can get that from apk mirror or googling it
To start this of i don't have my phone right now it is being fixed so i can't send screenshots and stuff
Ok,now for the rooting part you just install kingroot apk(if it didnt work for you before install it again and if you get something saying it denied installation of kingroot just tap the arrow and tap install anyway)open kingroot app then tap on try to root and it should work:fingers-crossed: if it doesnt though there is a solution,go to settings>apps>kingroot>clear data then try again and it should work
I made this thread because no one else on the internet wasn't caring about this phone's development and i hope someone uploads it's dload file(CUN-U29) Good Luck all!!:fingers-crossed:
Thanks man
