Stolen Skyrocket

Hi I recently got my Skyrocket stolen Friday, I deactivated it and I have ATT insurance. Is it possilbe for me to get a phone replace that isn't the same model as my Skyrocket EX. Atrix 2 4g. Or is it same model as the one originally purchased? ps I am still under warranty too.

Its still fairly new so you will get the same model. No doubt about it

No they will give you another skyrocket. You don't want an atrix 2. Trust me.

Your warranty doesn't apply in cases of losses and theft, your last resort a this point is your insurance. ATT insurance requires you to cough up cash from you, it just depends upon if your device is a tier 1, 2, or 3. Call ATT and ask nicely.

I bought the phone in the first 3 weeks of June 2012 and I reported it stolen on December 14th 2012 it was stolen on that date. So it is not possible for me to get a different model of equal or less value? Also I bought case and screen protector the day I bought it, will ATT replace that too, and also my micro sd card?

call ATT and find out

They won't cover screen protector or micro sd card. It's $150 deductible, and you get a refurbished phone, not a new one. They will send you another skyrocket unless they are out. In which case they will send you something comparable. I'm sure they have plenty of refurbished ones though.

Can I go in store in get it or does it have to be shipped? If there are out is it possible to get an iphone for replacement? Not saying I want one but is it possible?

As everyone said...NO you will not get any other phone for a replacement. And insurance will have to be shipped. Usually overnight

Why would you not ask your provider? They will tell you what you get and what you need to do to get it done.

You don't want an Atrix 2. My mom has one and it is nothing compared to the skyrocket imo. Samsung does it right. Even specs wise it is definitely a downgrade

I called insurance they said they will add $199 to my bill for replacement but when I got phone in june it was $150. Why is it $49 dollars more?
They also said if its not in stock they will ship a phone related to it? I asked if they could ship Atrix 2 or iPhone 4s but they said no.
IMEI number is also blackisted. I don't understand why the $199 though. I feel like I got scammed.

Walmart & Nexus 5

Will Walmart be selling the nexus 5? How would that even work? ( i still have the old plan *classic plan*) when i did my last upgrade this year (one time payment) $168.99 for the galaxy S4 (T-mobile) and i continued with the old plan now my mom is due for an upgrade I'm gonna give her my s4 and use the upgrade for the Nexus 5... But has anyone heard anything about Walmart carrying the Nexus 5?

Just saw Nexus 5 boxes in a Black Friday commercial but they didn't specifically mention it.

Just called my local Walmart and they said they don't do T-Mobile contract anymore... Just pre-paid... ={ but they said they have no idea about the nexus 5... Has anyone else called??

I was talking to an AT&T phone store employee about his Gear S at lunch today. He told me that they are going to have the Gear 2 for $100 this Friday. Sounds like they are blowing them out!

"Samsung mobile insights" program, buddy. They've been giving out free phones and all kinds of stuff for testers. Just email them and get your hands on some goodies. Got a note 3, an S5, and a gear 2 so far
from my S5 (of course running Alliance beast, I mean ROM)

How did you get one without having to purchase a phone?

it was a black friday instore deal only, they didnt have any in stock either you had to order it,

I went att store and they sold me a black gear 2 for 99.99 and I really like it.

Just grabbed one. Surprised they had one left.

I registered on 12/07/15, got approval today, 12/15/15. Haven't received it yet, but email states ~4 weeks.
Also registered for the Gifts of the Season promo. No approval as of yet.

Well, it's been 2 weeks and I haven't gotten my code. Calling Samsung is useless and none of the reps knew what to do except give me a link to email their "promotions" department.

I submitted for mime on Nov. 25th, and had it approved the 9th of December. I used it to order a gear vr, didn't have to pay a dime for anything and when it ships... Whenever that is, I won't have to pay for that either. So win win. Good luck.

Anybody see that verizon is offering your choice of gear vr or the gear s2 with a pre-order of the s7 or s7 edge?

Interesting.. gear s2 is worth a lot more.

I already have a gear VR and an S2... So I'll get the S2 as it is worth more on ebay.

Weird. I already have mine ordered and the s2 set up for its own line. The rep was a manager that I talked to and he'd been setting them up all day.

I'm really digging the look of the Gear S2 Classic... probably gonna sell the standard model it upgrade to that.

So you got the S2 3G version? Does that require a separate data plan, if so, how much is that? Will it only work on Verizon network?
Thinking about pre-ordering by calling Verizon, but want to gift the S2 to someone on another carrier.
