¿What is the best rom for Z3? [Marshmallow] - Xperia Z3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Good afternoon
For you what is the best rom for Z3?
Which do you use?
Marshmallow please
Thanks

I would totally go with eXistenZ 5.6.5 with some minor self debloating of some sony apps and extra processess that aren't used

well that is so relative bro with your need, so I will ask you back what you need?
performance, appearance, battery or something else?
I could not agree anymore same with @xkeita 5.6.5 with heavy debloating, I have using eXistenZ since 2013 with my Xperia Acro S, Xperia Z, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z2 and now Xperia Z3 because mr @niaboc79 already cooking his masterpiece ROM eXistenZ very very well with good maintenance and features

I really look for a good appearance and performance,
I will prove eXistenZ, please the link, thanks

Concept FTW

I have tried quite a lot of custom roms from different chefs including the concept and stock.. i would say the meanest beast is the SLiMM 3.8 version from @Wajk. great on battery... optimized performance and great on internal memory (more savings as a result of debloat).

PureX by Rajeev it's the best of all...

[Q] Can we use Sony's new ROMs with Xperia L?

Guys I'm just curious and pardon me if this a stupid question. I'm still a newbie for these things.
I have been using Varun's Free Xperia ROM for a while and as much as I love KitKat I do miss the Xperia features.
So can we do some workaround and use Varun's kernel with a rom of Sony's KitKat update like some building new ROMs? So we dont miss the Xperia features too?

I had the exact same question in my mind. But I thought it would be too stupid to ask.

Varun's kernel is only compatible with AOSP 4.4.
You could use Sony Media Apps which are compatible with 4.4
Z2 camera
Z2 widgets & wallpapers

XJ rom for daily usage

Hello! My cousins Xperia J is verry laggy. I want to set a custom rom on it. But i don`t know any roms for this device, because i have Xperia P. I need a rom for daily usage. Can anyone suggest any roms?
I`m not asking for the best rom, but for using it daily. And I don`t have much time for testing all roms.

I did not try custom ROMs on D6633 yet, I'll wait until Sony stops support beyond Marshmallow and then I'll play. Current modified rooted stock ROM's provide enough customizability that unless pure custom ROM offers amazing new features I am not desperate for custom ROM just yet. I use 3rd party launcher and couple of MODs and I am happy for now.
There are few modified stock ROM's you might wanna try, like this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/development/rom-23-4-1-232-t3226948
or this one:

May be this is it for Xperia J

Hi ,
Thanks to developers on behalf of All Xperia J users. All Developers made such an excellent ROM's even we got low Processor and RAM , you have given us speedy ROM's and you let us play/use awesome applications which are impossible with Stock ROM.
Thank you very much again.
Our developers started porting KitKat to our devices but things have changed completely and its became very hard but they have given us some stable KitKat to our Xperia J .
Thank you all.

Xperia J - Gingerbread ?

Hello,
I'm forcing to using Sony Xperia J, i have stock ROM with deleted unnecesary apps, but with google services, which i can't live, the phone is realy slow, and often have some lag issue.
So I would like to install some custom ROM like Cyanogen, to keep my phone more reliable.
But Xperia J android development section it's realy dead all the ROM links are down I found more alive links for ROMs to my old HTC Wildfire S than to Xperia J...
I was thinking also about gingerbread like CM7, becouse the old android before 4.0 release don't force me to install the newest google services and google store, becose they dont support such old android, and the gingerbread supported google apks are designed for old android like this one and apps work fast.
But is it even possible to run Gingerbread (CM7) on this phone?
If someone have any light and fast ROM that will be work on my Sony Xperia J, (does't matter which android version) share with me please :victory:
uhm, no need for any custom rom! just use L Speed Performance and Battery tweaks! I really love this app! why you didn't use this? Use it now to make unbelievable speed and battery saving! here u can find this : https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/l-speed/tweak-l-speed-v1-0-02-02-2015-t3020138 Gingerbread makes your device crawling like a turtle than ics.
