root problems - General Questions and Answers

Recently I rooted my Huawei T1-701u, using kinguser mobile. After sometime I read a thread about replacing kinguser with superuser through super sume. The replacement took place efficiently, but my google account worked no more more( so I tried es explorer, root explorer and root browser but none of them could delete the hosts or changed them). Then I installed kingo user and tried to unroot the phone but the process hasn't been successful, niether I can unroot properly nor delete kinguser or kingo user, now help me please.

Unrooting G3

I rooted my phone with stump root but i decided i didnt really need root access. I want to unroot to recieve OTA updates. I unrooted with SuperUser with the "full unroot" option. I installed a root checker to make sure and it said i didnt have root access. I tried to install the update but it told me that my device was suspected in rooting. I then ttried the method with ES File Explorer but i wasnt able to use root explorer and it wouldnt allow me to delete the busybox file. I dont have access to a PC, only mac, so i cant use LG PC Suite. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Did you try restarting device then check for root ? Did you delete all root files and folders ?

Successfully removed Kingroot and replaced with supersu

Dear forum
This dang SCH-i435 Verizon s4 was rooted by that kingroot apk, then I saw mentions of software sources and concerns. I down loaded , instantly rooted my phone some apps like apps to SD and other would work. But it seemed like kingroot was protecting
The root mod and wouldn't all supersu or any rom installer to install. What the S--t is this kingroot. I found a couple links using terminal to have su open on screen and then type ( sd /sdcard/mrw/root.sh) worked it deactivated king root and installed that supersu.
Search your favorite search engine for ( replace Kingroot with Supersu apk) I was a little chicken at first but it went and rooted the phone.
I unistalled kingroot and all
Addition software be sure to look for kingroot in you software there maybe numerous references in different apps???like it
Added shortcut references to root too root cleaner bricked my phone until I rebooted phone. Be sure your backups and clouds are free of this kingroot apk. I am becoming nervous about this free app being available.

Su missing (no root access) on *unrootable mtk android

Hello. Good day.
Am having an infinix hot X507andriod phone. I once had full root access. But due to frequent switching off by itself and eventually stuck at boot, I had to return it to its manufacturer which robbed me of my root access.
Then, I used kingroot on Android which installed the kinguser. But the kinguser doesn't allow root access ( also checked it's settings).
Afterwards, I've been trying diff ways to root my phn to no avail. I used all the supported one-click rooting apps, also eroot, iroot, king root on PC. It was when connected to mtkdroid tool that I discovered that it was a su missing error. ( mtkdroid tool gives a yellow colour, so I think my phn is somehow rooted). Then, I ran through my phn with es file explorer and saw su at 2 diff locations; bin and xbin, both with 0.00kb size and non deletable.
Now, I shifted my attention to unrooting my device by deleting the kinguser but to no avail. And also mtkdroid tool also giving just root option( which gives su missing error when clicked). The kinguser has even turned to a system app and non deletable. I even tried 'replacing kinguser with superuser' method but no success. (Still su missing error). Note: I don't have any recovery image, so I couldn't flash SuperSU, or anything.
And any attempt to update binary through installed SuperSU will give an installation failed error.
HELP, please.
Thanks in advance.

Superuser and Kingroot

If you already have rooted with kingroot.
Make a clone of superuser app then install both the original one and the clone. Now open the duplicate one and try to update binary.Your binary will be sucessfully updated and original superuser will be in charge of root permissions.
