Hi,
I have cm-10 install to my tab 2 (gt-p3113). It seems I have lost some memory space on my tablet.
If I do recall, I thought the tab 2 had 8 gbs of space, but when I go to storage settings its says 4.59 gbs
Does anyone have this issue?
How could I fix this?
Note: I did try a different rom other than CM but the problem was still there.
EDIT: I plugged it into my computer and my pc said it was on 4.59! This is not good.
Please help.
Thanks,
Jay Tong
PS: I have twrp recovery if anyone wants to know that.
How big is your recovery Partition? How big boot partition? How big cache? How big preload (used by stock sammy Roms)?
Your missing storage might be there.

Wow, its an honor to be talking to the great Android Andi! :good:
I could have figured it out. When I loaded back up stock Samsung 4.2 it showed 8gbs and that the system was taking up a lot, but when in something like slim or cm, It only says 4.56. Sorry I wish I could upload some screen shots but It won't let me.
EDIT: I bricked my device while messing around. all it says know is: Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in kies and try again.
I installed kies but it won't connect to it! Please help!
Custom roms and KIES is a no go! Absolut no go!
Remove kies and all its services.
On described screen download mode is on automatically.
Flash twrp using odin, in twrp do a clean rom flash.
Good luck!

Ok ya,
Got it all back online and working.
Installed CM12 that I found on your website.
I think the memory problem was resolved just by reinstalling stock. (I did reinstall cm12 after)
Off Topic: Any way on CM12 to fix that sound stuttering issue on some games?

you still don't get it, there is no any memory issue, every android device has less usable memory than it has build in. Your tablet have 8gb but about ~3 gb is used by system and you can't use it, that's why settings shows 4,5gb.

First of all sorry for my English....
Flyme OS and the experimental port of Sense are the only android based roms that works on my (i guess) hardware bricked Nexus 5 (moisture maybe); Sailfish, B2G and Ubuntu Touch works too (everythig that can work), but the stock rom and other android based roms screen locks as soon configuration starts (usually touching in "next" after selecting language) and the power button no longer unlocks. I'm trying to find the differences between Flyme and other Roms, especially in the framework-res.apk, to port this to a stock or cm rom (on which is based flyme) but I'm a little lost...
Flyme Os is stable and daily use, the only error message that it shown when boot is "cannot load native library cpu arch invalid for this build", but then use it normally
Thanks in advance, for any idea
Have you tried flashing stock with fastboot?
Yes, of course, in every way, even with the flashtool lg and factory original image .tot and D820 DLL (process that also closes the bootloader)...
So you've done this... With fastboot?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2513701
And what errors did you get?

Yes, same error: the screen locks when i touch "next" in language selection and no longer responds.
So fastboot installed everything without error?
Just wanna be sure you successfully installed stock. Which image did you use?

yes, entire process without error
I use any official found in https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
So after flashing stock, it freezes during setup? Very strange. I can only guess that those other OS's messed up your partitions.
I'm not sure what else you can try. Did you fastboot erase system, user data and cache first?
And have you asked others in the threads for those oddball OS's if they had issues like yours?

Very strange, yes. I also think it's an issue of partitions, damaged sectors or any where the stock image using to store settings or something...
I asked in a thread Flyme, about major structural changes that i can carry a stock rom, but no response yet

Sorry, i don´t undertand. Such other operating systems were installed once the problem was presented. First the original stock android (from the box, only updated by ota) started having problems, autolock randomly. Then reinstall the factory image (in every way) and still failing so I went back to using my Nexus 4 and began to try other Roms and OS's. Until I arrived at the only functional rom based on android that not autolock, Flyme...

What you have is DOA, look at the logs after you installed flyme os and check sd card for errors/repartition (mentioned before). But i would just change the device using DOA warranty. Dont forget to reset the tempered flag afterwards.

Its not DOA, it works for over 7 months, I think that are bad sectors

Im not sure whats happening but it looks like your lollipop preview isnt booting with multirom. I can see the i/o error but im not sure whats causing it.
sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Unhandled error code looks like drive is failing. Also some wifi problems but dont think thats the reason. 70% sure its the drive. Check reformat or replace. Good luck man!

Already formatted it, ran e2fsck (with verbose: no bad sectors), I'll wait for the final version of lollipop, if I keep using FlymeOS until I get a motherboard at reasonable price in Argentina

It either the nand or the nand controller or software thats causing bad block (going to stock, flashing everything correctly, reflashing kernel, radio etc). Very little chance of it being a software fault since it persists on different roms. Good luck!

Titanium Backup
Can't restore apps with Titanium Backup pro. Just hangs at 0%. Tried 12/24 and 12/22 release. Not the apps because I can install individually. enabled root for apps and adb and gave titanium root access. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong.
I'm currently on bumpd cloudy stock 1.2 and cannot get illusion to flash either on my external or internal SD. What's the trick?
Idk what I'm doing wrong I'm coming from cm nightly. I'm trying to install this rom. I have cleaned flashed this like 5 times already with different downloads and I either get a boot loop or I get Google services crashes or I'm getting illusion home crashes. Some please help me. I'm so confused to why this isn't working..

Same thing happened with me, all you have to do is flash the latest SuperSU thought recovery. That solved that same problem i had last night. Hopefully that helps for you.
External SD Issue
Am using as daily driver. Haven't been able to get it to recognize my 128 gb card. Have reformatted on both the phone and pc.
Clean install every time, wiped everything including both internal and external. Have tried what someone had suggested, install ROM, setup and then boot into recovery and install GAPPS. For now am using 64gb card. Any help would greatly appreciated. Great work, can't wait until this little hiccup is resolved.

Where can I find the modified messenger that comes with this ROM?
Sent from my LG-D850 using XDA Free mobile app
Thanks for the update! Loving the new additions!!
Screen timeout
I can't get my screen timeout setting of 1 minute to stick. It keeps resetting to 30 seconds. Am I alone in this?
I'm starting to think that it's a CM12 issue, since I saw it in early versions of it before coming here.

Bluetooth issue
Hey i have been using this rom for a couple of days now and it is awesome. It definitely tops the other ROMs that I have tried for this phone by far. The only problem that I am having is that I cant get the Bluetooth to connect to anything. Is there anything that I can try to get the BT working?

WiFi not connecting.
Having an issue. Can't connect to WiFi at all. Networks show up but after putting in the password it immediately says saved and then connecting for a while, then back to saved. Endless loop but no actual connection. Anybody know how to fix this?
Hi! So I've been having lots of apps FC, overheating, fast battery drain and a long etc of stuff.
At first I just wiped my ROM and started again from zero, but the problems were still there... Then I reflashed all my phone partitions using fastboot.... nothing different.... and finally I tried installing ColorOS again with the chinese installer(I have chinese 64gb version)... and nothing changed... I seriously dont know what else to try/do... I'm starting to think that the flash memory is just damaged (also tried formating/erasing system,data,user-data and cache partitions using fastboot).
I even have problems while trying to flash ROMs using recovery, mounting /system partition... it's just so weird...
Do any of you know what could be happening? I dont want to change my phone I really like my OPO

Hmm well it seems it is a hardware issue then. You did all software stuff

I know in the past (2010) there was a way to use the Linux command fsck to check the blocks on an Android device, I'd do that route.

Hello,
I'm having a rooted s6 and the internal memory shows -3.54/4.00 GB instead of 32GB. I cannot take pictures because it says that the memory is full, despite the fact that the phone almost empty.
Has anyone had this bug? Any ideas how to fix it?

Looks like something comes wrong with partitioning your memory. Did you reflashed firmware/changed ROM or something? Try to update your phone to latest stock via Odin then check how it's going. When you flashing phone via Odin your memory is almost all formatted and partitioned from begin so can helps if that isn't hardware issue (for example eMMC broken). HERE you found all.
I had this happen to me on OdexLite. A reboot of the phone fixed it.

It's only ever happened to me once, so it's definitely not a common thing. It did freak me out though, I thought my S6 was finally giving up.
Everything works after updating to CRAP Oreo (even though it's discontinued), but my S8+ G955F gets encrypted afterwards. I can't seem to flash anything, even backup or restore. It displays internal storage as 0 MB. I know my option is either to format data or repair/change filesystem, but I've done that multiple times and it re-appears. Is there any solution to it?
Nougat seems to work just fine.
I'm rooted using Magisk v15.3 and using Xposed framework beta v90-beta3.
yeah! i have the same f***ing issue and its driving me crazy!
after i format data and rooting my phone then the minute i enter the home screen and coming back to twrp my internal storage is gone and its showing 0mb

My guess is TWRP can't actually decrypt it it, guess we'll have to wait for a new version to come out.
Not sure of the relationship, but CarHDROM 12.1 seems to either not have had that issue, or it has been resolved. It is flashed via TWRP.
