Verry good ROM. More free RAM vs. PDAVIET (after softreset ~30MB), stable, fast...

so far so good... very fast and stable, but one big problem for me.
The bluetooth will turn itself off when the device goes to suspend mode.
have to switch it on everytime.
Is there anyway to resolve this?

same problem persists...
This indeed is a very fast ROM, but I now have problems synchronizing my Pocket Outlook data with my Exchange server.
The error code is 0x80004005.
Anyone else having the same problem?

I've test the same rom base of PDA Viet (2.61.33) the bluetooth is ok.
The desactivation of BT is perhaps to preserve the battery
I've test too with the broadcomm and the problem is same.
Someone have a solution for resolve the problem??

With the new Google maps 5 it is possible to offline cache maps of areas you are in often. But, is it possible to cache maps of eg. a new city you are visiting? This should be more interesting, as I probably know where to travel in the areas I usually are in...
Im interested in this too because going over whole country on 500m resolution is a bit pain in the finger.
Or if anyone could tell what kind of format are new maps... maybe we could use existing tools/programs to download and store them on sd.
try the app locus
I tried to download with locus but it downloads in tiles not in vector shape. New google maps are supposed to use vector shape so its usless. And you would have to manually extract all and compile.
So any other program/app which could export data from internet maps into cache files for google maps 5?
I know that old 4.6 brut17 uses andnav and it is possible to download the cache onto your computer first before putting it on your phone.
I won't be switching to maps 5.0 if I can't pre-cache it
This may sound stupid, but couldn't you just open the city you are going to visit a few times before you go to cause the apps to cache it for you?

It works but that's a very inefficient way.
Any updates on this? Would be great if I can cache like 100miles around me on Wi-Fi

As you said, in the new versions of google maps the information stored in the cache (online first) and can return to view offline later. my trick, first at home with wifi, sailed through the area where I will go, and then normally use my gps with maps OFFLINE Since you keep everything above in the cache) (not 3g).
my question is:
As I can keep all the information stored in the cache (cache security copy .. just google maps), so that every time I install a new rom does not have to start over?

como ya habeis dicho, en las versiones nuevas de google maps se guarda la informacion en la cache (primero online) y se puede volver a ver offline despues .mi truco: primero en casa con wifi, navego por la zona donde voy a ir, y despues utilizo normalmente mi gps con maps OFFLINE Ya que se guardo todo anteriormente en la cache) (no 3g).
mi pregunta es:
Como puedo guardar toda la informacion almacenada de la cache( copia seguridad cache ..solo google maps), para que cada vez que instalo una rom nueva no tenga que comenzar de nuevo?

Well been a few days no major reports, so Beta tag removed.
So the /sdcard issue I was worried about, it seems TWRP /sdcard is actually found on /data/media
This was built from JB sources, so its not recommended for ICS, please attempt at your own risk and let us know.
.img files for Heimdall or Mobile Odin. .zip files are NOT CWM flashble, they contain a .tar.md5 inside which can be use with Odin. (If you don't know how, please ASK!)
CWM.zips will have to wait a bit..
Please report any errors/etc.

So, been a day or so, and no replies.. Id like to hear how it is working on CM ROMS.
I know I need to fix /sdcard mount in recovery.fstab, I will have to unpack stock to check it.
This may mean that we will need 2 versions, one for stock JB ROM, and one for CM 10.1 ROMS.
I should have this settled in a few days.
I did try to port a theme, I got about halfway, and dont have the time or ability at the moment, I think I would need some kind of IDE console/Emulator, or get /sdcard and USB storageto mou t, so I can push ui.xml and just reload theme changes from recovery.
Installed and used it to install paranoid android off of external memory. Worked smooth. I haven't tested it further. Very excited to see it though. I much prefer TWRP. Thanks for sharing.

I gave up trying to 'fix' /sdcard issues that aren't issues, /sdcard is on /data/media and you have to mount external_sd for it to show up in external_sd folder in recovery file manager.
Any issues, report them and I will see what I can do.
Partition SD card UI is screwed up a bit by default. If anyone /needs/ to use that, let me know and I can attempt a ui.xml theme to fix.
I will keep the Beta tag for a few more days, if there are no bugs to report, I will upload Odin .tar and flahable .zip

Thanks for this, I flashed .img file via Mobile Odin. Desktop Odin can't flash this, it shows invalid MD5, but Mobile Odin flashed it sucessfully. Looks good on my P6200:good:

I have tested the 6200.tar.md5 with Desktop Odin, I made it the exact same time and exact same way for the 6210.

Worked fine for me, just turn off the md5 check . I flash with mobile odin and ignored the MD5 warning

Hello, i'm Daniel from Argentina and i have a problem.
Recently i installed bmm, i create a system 3 with 2gb for image, 300mb for cache and 500mb for system.
I flash 2 differents roms (pacman and dirty unicorn), and in both of them the phone gets every minute slower and after 5 mins it freezes for 10 seconds and autoshutdown.
Any idea? kernel, overheating, partitions size?
I'm on jb 4.1.1, kernel 3.0.8. Oh, also gapps after being flashed when i go back bmm freezes for seconds and then it close it with forze.

For the ones who know spanish, here it is...
Bueno, eso, hoy instale el boot menu manager, hize un system 3 con 2gb de image, 300mb de cache y 500mb de system.
Instale 2 roms diferentes, y en ambas a los 5 minutos(aprox) despues de usarlas se congelan 10 segs y tengo que sacar la bateria. Y tambien durante esos 5m va creciendo lo lento que va andando, es decir a los 4m es muy lenta y a los 5m pum, se traba.
Tienen idea de que puede ser? Yo creo que debe ser por algo del tamaño de la particion o sobrecalentamiento, pero el tamaño que puse lo lei de un user de xda y el sobrecalentamiento no se porque podria ser.
Puede que tenga que ver con el kernel?
Por cierto, el system 1, es decir el original funciona perfectamente. Y otro dato, luego de flashear los gapps, no vuelve atras y entonces el bmm lo cierra forzozamente

no, my battery on my stock system works fine.
Do you think that after a factory reset to jb i will be able to run roms? Because both roms run on jb i don't know what is the problem.
As I said you need to test battery life on stock ics. If it still gives that, I tink it might be something with board. Or your phone simple can't run JB rom (because I think it runs more juice than ICS one).

Well IMO your culprit is the 2GB data partition. BMM simply doesn't play well with 2GB partitions.
Make a smaller partition and then flash again.Don't make too small a partition though.Data partition should be atleast 500MB+

Davesh thanks for the help, i did a 1000mb partition, installed paranoid 3.69, gapps and it auto shutdown before i finish the initial configuration (email and that). At least it didn't freeze

boot into your system 1 and see how much free space do you have in your data..
You did follow the proper steps in creating partitions and activating them right??

Yes i have enough space (2.66gb)
Well, i think that i activate the 2nd system y the second reboot, but in the first time i enter to bmm menu. May that affect? Can i unistall bmm like any other app and do the steps again?
