Are the volume and camera buttons totally uncovered? I have a case that I bought with the phone that has grooved covered buttons; the volume button is nearly nonfunctional; the camera button is worse.
yes they are, but it could do with a bit more access to the buttons
I didnt have an issue with the camera button, but yes the volume buttons were harder to access. Didn't notice much issue accessing the power/fingerprint button.

I just got the Orzly Flexislim case. I love it a lot because it looks like the phone is naked.
It is really thin, and the Black Smoke color one, is roughly the same color as the so called "Black" Z5C (which in reality is more grey than black). The only protection this case will give you is light scratches from keys\coins in pocket or placing phone on table\cupholder\w.e . It won't protect against a drop. It is actually slightly more "slippier" than the naked phone, but not by much.

Hello!! I'm between a bumper and a full case...I tend to drop the phone a lot and I have the impression that bumpers won't work...but since I never used one I wanted to ask the experts
I'm between the orly and this full case which it's going to provide a nice protection but looks like it's going to make the phone bigger...I don't know :
Sony Xperia Z5 Compact Case, INNOVAA Smart Grid Defender Armor Case
What would you recommend?
Thank!!
I have the Sony SCR44 case.
Good:
It works as advertised, with a small app on the windows, were you can check email, calendar, control music.
Quality material.
Bad:
Not magnetic, keeps opening.
Window gets dirty very easily.
The fit does not look secure, you can take out the phone too easily.
I got a Nillkin hard case, sold here under a different name.
Quite frankly I prefer the phone with this case on it. It's that good. Everything is cut out and shaped perfectly, plus it has a wonderful texture on the back.

I've just picked it up too and agree completely. Do you have a constant alert on the main widget saying you have receieved a message? I haven't, but it wants me to think I have. I'm using Google's Messenger as my default SMS app so think that may be related...
EDIT: Scrap that. I added the Sony Clock 2 widget and moved it to the far right position, then removed the default widget. I don't get the weather update any more, but it's good enough.

Naked is best ... until you break a 700$ phone. Happenend to me. I'm using a tempered glass screen-protector and a very nice transparent backplate now. Won't save it from a fall on concrete but at least it's less slippery and i can put it down without scratching the back.

Happened to me too. But I still won't use a case or protector
Scratches are for me a total non-issue and slipperiness can be addressed by a vinyl back without increasing the phones size.
I find it silly to pay $$$ for design and thinness and then put it in a case. But preferences differ.
Thank you
I have the white one and I went with the clear case
Just got my Nillkin case.
One word, fabulous. Very, very good.
I got the brown one, to match my black(?) Z5c, and it matches very well!

Looks like a great case, but the seller on Amazon didn't ship to Sweden :/ And I can't find any other who sell the same case, you said that it's really a Nillkin case, do you know the full name?

Do you guys use some sort of transparent skin to protect the back of the phone and if so, which one could you recommend? I hate cases and I also don't want to put a colored skin on the back of the phone it would ruin the amazing look of it.
I use this https://www.moutfitters.com/clear-coat/original/htc-u11

I'm loving my PhantomSkinz, here are pics My back cover is a matte/frosted clear finish but they make an UltraClear as well but this sucker looks so natural on my phone. The UltraClear will be even better I bet and it is scratch resistant and self healing I think. Feels and looks great. Here is the link https://phantomskinz.com/htc-u11/

I always have a dbrand skin applied therefore I usually go for a transparent case to show it off.
I currently have the coveron and ringke fusion transparent cases. The coveron is quite slippery and the ringke alert slider cutout is too small.
Recommendations of transparent cases which offers decent protection and grip is appreciated
Don't buy ringke even if they correct the slider cutout! The back of ringke case is damn scratchy and gets so bad in just 10 days.

Mine is all scratched up too. Check out supcase, they released one which claims to have a scratch resistant back.
Ive tried 3 clear or transparent cases and all have had their own seperate issues. If I'm honest the best is the default one that came with it but unfortunately its the smoked affect. If they did a totally clear one it would be awesome

Supcase is a far better choice and will last you a long time. It's more scratch resistant than the orzly fusion and the ringke and is overall a nice case.
Anyone know of a transparent grey or Ash case that's similar to the one that comes along with the phone?
Hi all, I bought the red OP6 a couple of weeks ago and have been using the clear case that was included. I have some mixed feelings about it, the positives for me are the raised corners to protect the screen (I just wish they would have done something similar for the camera), all buttons work perfectly and is clear to show off the amazing red color. I just have one negative issue which for me is very annoying, just at the middle in the back it sticks to the phone like if it is wet, which looks very bad, and creates the rainbow effect to the sides. So with this in mind, I am looking for a new case which hopefully doesn't have this issue.
Which would be the most recommended? And if any of you are using them please post some pics, I can´t seem to find any of the red OP6 in a case.
Thanks guys!

I've been using this with my OP6 with carbon fiber back skin. The sides are black and have grips and the back is totally clear and the fit is perfect.

Pretty unclear and confusing as their images show the volume switch on the wrong side Also don't think it would do much in the way of protection.

It's not bad at all. There are cases with higher raised edges but the case is pretty nice and does offer decent protection. The Ringke fusion is also a great option.

There are little nubs on each corner of the Ringke to prevent it from hitting the desk or table when you put it down which eliminates a lot of the scratching. I used mine for a week and don't see any scratches in it. In the second to last photo the Orzly is on the left and Ringke is on the right. The last photos is the Ringke on the phone.
I have the Ringke clear also *I'm kind of a horder with cases lol* and because of the back being such a hard plastic it has grazes all over it. Dunno if its from being in the pocket with something else or whatever really. Also the cut out for the volume notch is totally off placement. I just can't find one that I'm like wow awesome atm. Although the Spigen case is pretty dam good but I have a dbrand skin on and it isn't a clear case unfortunately as you also would like. Would you consider a bumper case like Rhinoshields? I am awaiting mine to try out.

The Rhinoshield looks similar to the Orzly. I'm also a case hoarder and have 7 cases for the OP6. Every time a new one comes out that looks good I buy it. So far the Orzly is my favorite.
i dont think you should use a case on a red oneplus but no doubt the official red case is nice but my most used case if the nylon case which is so damn perfect... looks nice but also adds lots of grip and protection

Would not recommend it. I bought it, and the back doesn't sit close enough to the phone. At the camera cut-out there is about 1-2mm of space between the back of the case and the phone. If u don't have any skin on it you will scratch the back of your phone from all the dust and partials that can get through it.
Recommend these for the RED OP6. I own the first one.
# Good Quality. Fits well.
# Rubberised in and out.
# No room on the inside to cause scratches.
# Transparent Back.
# Decent lip on the front. Not the best raise, but certainly helps when flipping the phone over without having the screen touch the surface. Might be a problem for phone with a tempered glass. Check comments on Amazon for more info.

Thanks for the feedback, I too heard that the scratches in the Ringke came from evryday use and just having it in your pocket, whic is what worries me.
I do want to try the Rhinoshields bumper, I had one in my iPhone and an S7 and really liked them, but I am not sure how it would look since there is only black or white, and I think it takes away from the red phone aesthetics.
The Supcase might be the one, it looks pretty cool, except maybe for the black bumper. If ti were red or clear it would be a total winner.
Anyone has any experience with the Nillkin Nature Series? It looks nice !

You could have bought the grip case and the skin for it from dbrand itself. Basically they sell a skin properly designed for their own case.
