Hi,
I have a strange problem:
Each time the phone receives an sms the sms tone is heard then the phone goes straight to vibrate only mode for both incoming calls and sms.
I can't find, or think of a setting that would be doing this. I have changed sms app without luck and have also re flashed the OS.
Any help appreciated
The phone is unrooted and running the latest Cyan OS (13.1.2-ZNH2KAS3P0)

hi! i installed viber app on my phone Galaxy S with stock 2.3.6 rom. now i cant hear my phone ringing or receiving messages. it only vibrates but there is no ring. ichecked all the settings and they r ok. uninstalling and rebooting didnt help. what to do?
I don't know if this is just me. I don't see any vibrations when I receive incoming texts when I set my phone on vibration mode. However, I do see vibrations when I receive incoming call. I have no idea what is going on.

When I was CM11 while I was on phone, when apps get notifications, phone vibrated. Now with marshmallow on Nexus 5 doesn't vibrate. This function is useful to me while I'm on call, because it allows me to see if I'm getting another call when busy as I receive sms alert. How can I do to reactivate this?

I have found other topics on this issue, but it's unclear to me whether this issue has been fixed yet despite being several months old.
When my phone is in vibrate mode, it vibrates on every Hangouts message even when every vibrate related setting in hangouts is off. This is true for both SMS and normal Hangouts messages. I want my phone to vibrate for calls, but not for Hangouts messages. (Even more ideally for SMS but not for normal messages, but I'm trying to keep expectations low here.)
I'm currently using Sultan's CM13 ROM, with no other issues.

Some time ago I bought a Mi Note 10 and I'm happy with this phone overall. Recently, by the way, I noticed a problem: sometimes the phone put all ring and notifications sound at zero, without any interaction by the user. So I miss calls and messages. Has anyone experienced the same problem? Can anyone suggest me a solution? Thanks in advance!

Incoming call sound
Hello. I have a problem with my Xiaomi mi note 10. When i have incoming calls the phone just vibrating, but does not have any sound. When i getting sms, messenger calls, notifications everything ok. I tried to put music on every number, tried to make SIM sound but nothing works. I dont hear when someone calls to me. Is it problem with my phone or just settings?
I had the same. Despite everything correctly allowed and set there was no sound for incoming SMS. However I had downloaded a different messaging app from PlayStore. When In reverted to the stock app, the sound worked. I don't think Xiaomi likes other apps although I didn't have the problem on my other Xiaomi phone. Look for setting to allow other apps or revert to stock app meanwhile. UPDATE: I uninstalled and then reinstalled the new messaging app and the notification sound worked.
