Erisin ES3092Y with Android 5.1 Intel - root? - MTCD Android Head Units Q&A

How can I root my ES3092Y? I tried *#hct#root# into the factory settings and King Root, but it doesn't work.

Yes I know.
Can I use this? Or will it brick my device?

Question for you about that unit; does bluetooth DATA tethering work? The specifications say this, and I'm not sure what it means;
Code:
Setup
- WiFi/Hotspot/Bluetooth: Yes

Well, that is at least hopeful, since even if broken, the option is at least there.

@nico84
Hello
I also have an es3092y erisin, have you managed to root your device?
If yes, how?
Thank you.

I wonder, what's the obsession with Bluetooth tethering? WiFi Hotspot is faster and WAY more reliable than Bluetooth

Here is a wififix and bluetooth fix for those having connection problems with ported S5 roms(especially those that came from korean base S5 firmwares) on our Note3.Tested on N9005 16gb hongkong.Install via recovery and make sure make a back up before installing.Let me know if it works for you.If the first version didn't worked, try the 2nd version

Thanks mate. It works. However, the WiFi password doesn't saved. I have to type in email password each time after I reboot my phone. Do you know how to solve this problem?

Someone posted adding this "ro.securestorage.support=false" build.prop, but one user said it didn't worked. My suggestion try a clean full wipe fresh install the rom you want then my wifi fix and then reboot. This method works for me and another user.
Many thanks, this fixed the Bluetooth for me (I'm on 4.4.4 Sprint port and had Bluetooth devices non-discoverable)

Thank you guys, I have my bluetooth to work again BUT connection to device (Gear S) is lost whenever the Gear S go out of range or when I reset the device. It seems that the Mobile Device (Note 3) have a very short term memory? BTW, my Note 3 used to work great with the Gear S without any single problem until I upgraded the Note 3 firmware to Lollipop Beta yesturday.
Any idea what problem it was?

Root for MT7-L09 B571?

Hey guys!
I was wondering if anyone has rooted the latest update? If so, are you using the same TWRP and SuperSU as with B561?
I also have a question for those that use AndroidPay. Have any of you been able to use AP while rooted? If yes, can you please guide me in the right direction. I'm a big AP user and I hate that I would have to lose the ability to root my device in order to get it working.
Thanks in advance for the help!
I'm using 3.0.2 TWRP and SuperSU v2.64 Pro, and it works perfect.

Can you tell me, why do yo want to root your phone?
I root because I use xposed for Adblocker and youtube adaway... plus the deletion of Gapps that are of no use.

I'm coming back to Samsung from the LGv20. It was a ***** to do anything on that phone. I'm wondering if there is yet a possible hotspot mod that works. Thanks in advance!

The steps work for me. I find myself having Wi-Fi on with the wrong passwords entered into 3 sources. I then toggle the Wi-Fi sharing and the hotspot until it works. I'm sure there is an easier way out there but it has worked for me since day 1.

If coming from KitKat you must flash Lollipop stock rom first. This will update the bootloader. Finally install latest TWRP recovery and Lineage 7.1.2
Hi,
I managed to install the rom (though it's my first time rooting and and updating a rom so I don't know a lot).
I saw that in the open GApps site there isn't a package for 7.1.2, and the closest package is for 7.1.1, this is the one to install on my T530 (32 bit processor), or can I install a higher version and it should be supported on this rom?
Thanks alot!

No that is the right gapps, it is for 7.1 (7.1.1 and 7.1.2.) so go ahead and install that one. I hope you enjoy the rom!!!:good:

I have installed this os and my wifi works very weirdly. My Samsung Galaxy Tab4 can connect with every router which can see, but when connected it says "no internet" where other devices connected with the same router have internet and works without problem.
Does anyone have or had a similar problem? Is there a solution to this problem?
I have model sm-t535

I've had this issue at times. A reboot to recovery and wiping cache/dalvik cache fixes it for me.

gravity box compatibility

Hey everyone,
did someone try the gravity box xposed module?
Does it cause system UI crashes as it does one the ROG phone? Given that the Zenfone 6 has a pretty stock android UI it should be much better compatible.
Kind regards
I have installed it successfully using edexposed (yahfa). So far i have no problems with the small changes i made.

Just follow the rooting guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-6-2019/how-to/guide-how-to-root-asus-zenfone-6-twrp-t3940168
It is pretty simple. Find out the firmware version you have, download the patched boot image for your version from the guide. Enable developer options > usb debugging and flash the downloaded boot image using fastboot as described in the guide.

I've tested it myself now. Works surprisingly well with many different options.
The only ones not working so far are the lower 5 options in the customize quick settings menu and the centered clock which is a really pity as I love those functions.
