You cannot root MM.. you have to downgrade.

already tried it , with lg flash tool with the correct files but Lg FT said check model failed so i did not retry after that im confused

That's because if your running MM you must use LGUP..

ah great thank you , one more thing please is there a chance to brick my phone with this method , because i already corrupte my recovery trying toinstall twrp with kingroot on MM , i just want to be sure that there will be no problem with LGUP thank you again
just to tell that i downgrade the phone without any problem with Lg flash tool not LGUP

The l bello can be root because I have root my lg l bello with my computer but i don't remember the software witch I have root this phone.

I did it with vroot. Downloaded chinese version, than made update to english and start it and.....taaa daaa, Rooted.

Vroot works but when unninstal superuser app the vroot innstaled phone is not rooted anymore.

I found even beter way. By myself.
After root-ing, i downloaded supersu and did all update of bin. , than install and open root explorer and delete vroot from system/app folder. And it works.

I would assume you could get it direct from TOT (it is a mobile phone operator?). Otherwise you could also try (1) flash an older version and use the OTA process (if available) or (2) go with standard Google factory images (you can download them from Google's website).

It was only my assumption, but TOT is a mobile provider here in Thailand but I am not even sure that they got the N5 as device.

I have tried over and over to try and get Viper4Android to work on my G Stylo (Cricket). I also tried looking it up to see if there is already a solution. So I was wondering if anyone with a Cricket LG G Stylo got Viper4Android working?
Edit: I think it was because I had an equalizer on my music player and that was conflicting with viper. This is only a guess though.

Your most likely going to first need to downgrade back to lollipop before you'll be able to root.

As far as I have seen in the forums the flex 2 is rootable only in lollipop by flashing a rooted Rom. so far the MM roms have not been successfully rooted.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work. I waited for more than 15 minutes and nothing happens. So i reboot the phone (hold vol. down and power together). And no-youpi, it was still my non-rooted android 6 installed...
I do not know how and what to do now.... Let's look for !!!
There is hope to root locked bootloader LG, if anyone has the capability to study these.

Yes, I know that. From what I read in his second post, he wants a way to root his phone, knowing that he has to downgrade to lollipop. So I gave him a way to downgrade to lollipop and to root it.

No because these methods need a debug bootloader and debug kernel from a debug phone..

DirtySanta is exclusive to v20 only I guess..
But we can extract a system img using dd from download mode and decompress it... Add mods and repack it and flash..
All aslongas super user binaries aren't added... You can put any mods.. sad no one has done it yet and i am on h950 so no MM

It's alive...it's alive I tell you
It could have been a number of things that prevented me from flashing on Odin but I will just tell you what I did to get Odin to work. First I went back to an older version of Odin 3.10 Then I downloaded another copy of Nougat 7.1 update firmware from updato, download took over 6 hours to complete (just slow) . I then started Odin as administrator and I must confess I might have miss this step. [emoji10] Anyway firmware flashed without any failures. I have my phone back running 7.1 Nougat. And I can tell you this since update phone is more responsive , no lag at all.
